Cast the First Stone. . .

So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. (Joh 8:7  KJV)

God is Fair and Just!

In the previous verses before our theme verse today, a woman is condemned by her community having been caught in the act of adultery. Her accusers quickly bring her before Jesus for his final say and verdict. God's verdict exactly accords with his spirit of grace, mercy and compassion.

He says, "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her. (Joh 8:7). No bystander ever expected such a response. I can only imagine that they walked away - some angered, some humbled, some confused.

We, at times are like the accusers in that particular story. We are always quick to cast stones before looking in the mirror. That certainly isn't right! We must examine ourselves first - THEN.

Then what? - you ask. Then work with those at fault, those in need, to help them to walk differently. It is in so doing, we would be able to say that we've taken on the Spirit of our master.

If you are in a particular situation now where 'stones are being thrown at you - LEFT - RIGHT - CENTER," don't worry God has the final say and those throwing them also have faults and need to repent.

Jesus extends his hands of grace and mercy to you. The stones won't hurt once you're in the right hands!

Don't Bash Yourself!

I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well (Psalm 139:14 KJV)

You are unique! You are Special! You are God's creation! If you are saved, that makes it better yet - You are a child of a KING. Once you're seeking after SPIRITUALITY and not tradition and religion, you'll be able to live a FREE and OPEN MINDED life. Don't let anybody make you feel any less than who you are! You hear?

The unique part about life is that I don't look like you, you don't look like your friend and your friend doesn't look like his/her best friend's grandfather. A little tricky, but it's true. God took time out to craft YOU into YOU. That's why we ought to praise and thank him for doing just that.

Take time to look into the mirror, examine and admire yourself from head to toe STALK  NAKED and HUG yourself and say . . . WOW. . . I'm Handsome or WOW . . . I'm beautiful. Let me say that again. The next time you exit your bath and enter your bedroom, drop the towel, stand in front of the mirror and admire God's handy work. Love your build men. Love your curves and breasts women. Stop comparing yourself to others. That's a joy stealer! LOVE  YOURSELF! YOU  LOOK  AMAZING!!!

Don't dwell on mistakes you've made in life. Focus on your triumphs and opportunities. God pulled out some of the messed up people in life during Bible times and used them tremendously.

Someone sent me this smartphone message below, (AUTHOR UNKNOWN) and I had to conclude - it's . . . . Ohhh soooooo true.

Jacob was a cheater, Peter had a temper, David had an affair, Lot got drunk, Jonah ran from God, Paul was a murderer, Gideon was insecure, Miriam was a gossiper, Martha was a worrier, Thomas was a doubter, Sara was impatient, Elijah was moody, Moses stuttered, Zaccheus was short, Abraham was old, and Lazarus was dead.

Each of these had an opportunity to live regretting and complaining, but instead they made themselves available to God to use them and bless them tremendously.

You are probably missing out on your blessing because you are too busy complaining about everything which include the problems you face right now. Change your mindset - look up, look ahead. Don't bash Yourself! You are more than a conqueror!

Hope is ahead!

What A Love Gift

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotton son, that who so ever believeth on him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16 KJV)

We all love gifts!

Birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, weddings and other celebrations are usually never complete without a gift. In these hard economic times, I read of a story of a husband who didn't want to go home without a gift for his wife's birthday.

He thought long and hard. He worried long and hard. Then - he had to use his last resort. He climbed into a dumpter and picked out some flowers, washed them off and made his way home with tears in his eyes. "Why are you crying honey?" his wife asked. He explained to her that he didn't have any money to buy a gift and what he had done.

Tears quickly rushed down her eyes too and she hugged and kissed him. She said - don't worry - don't worry. This is the greatest love gift I've ever received over our 12 years of marriage.

I believe many of us can relate to similar stories. While those are great, great shows of affection, JESUS  is  the GREATEST  LOVE  GIFT  MANKIND  HAS  EVER  RECEIVED.

1. He provides a wonderful love - God so loved the world

2. A Matchless Gift - His Begotten Son

3. A Simple Way - Whosoever Believeth in Him

4. A Divine Certainty - Should Not Perish

5. A Grand Possession - Have Everlasting Life.

Stand Still and See

You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the LORD will give you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the LORD will be with you.'" (2 Chronicles 20:17 NIV)

WOW -  What a Word!

Imagine being the leader of a country and having to prepare for war. You get your best men together and prepare your best artillery. Honestly, you don’t know how the war will go - whether your nation would be victors or victims – then a stronger force says to you – You Will Not Have to Fight This Battle!

I would be utterly astonished, grateful, excited and tearful all in ONE.

Well. . . .that is just what God is saying to you here and now. He has seen your tears. He has heard your prayers. He feels your struggles. He sees how fast your heart beats at times. He knows you are trusting in him and you need him RIGHT NOW. RIGHT NOW.

Today, God’s words to Judah and Jerusalem are His words to you. Stand Firm and See the Deliverance of the Lord!

There Is Actually A Way Out!

And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. (Exodus 14:21 KJV)

I actually don't know what has led me to write about God's deliverance of the children of Israel a second day in a row, but I must obey the holy spirit.

Reader - There is a way out!

I know your back is probably up against the wall now and you are worrying and wondering about your next move. You are not the first one to be going through what you are going through. Others have passed that way before and they made it. God provided their means of escape and so too  - he is ready to use his EAST  WIND  power again!

The children of Israel also had their backs up against the wall. They couldn't turn left or right or back. If they progressed onward and forward, this would lead to a massacre - thousands of people would drown if their dared to try and cross the red sea. If they stopped moving, the Egytians would gain on them and kill them all.

What were they to do? I believe you too are asking the question - What am I to do?

God's response to you today, is the same response he gave Moses in Ex 14:15, "And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:"

Yes. . . that's it! GO  FORWARD! Continue praying as you go. Continue Trusting as you go. Keep your faith High as you go.

God would never let you drown once you BELIEVE on his name. He parted the Red Sea for the Israelites and he is READY to part YOUR  RED  SEA  of problems and hurts. Don't stay  where you are and have a PITY  PARTY.

Even though those around you may doubt and be negative and make you feel you will never be delivered -Go Forward in Hope! That was the same case with Moses, he was the ONLY  ONE who believed among a throng of doubtful people.

God is looking for people with Faith, Hope and Trust to do something amazing in their life.

Don't give up now - God will see you through!

Oh My. . . It's Monday Again

And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. (Exodus 14:13 KJV)

Sometimes I wish Monday will stay a bit longer to come. Don't you? If it does, I'll get to rest and relax more. I'll have a bit more time to think out situations and see the best way to approach them.

For some people, they wish Monday's would never come because they are afraid to face the giants of the particular week. We all do at times.

But - You See - If we had that control, Monday will never come and God would never get to show up and deliver us like he always does once we trust him and have faith.

The children of Israel were being aggressively pursued by Pharoah's chariots after he realized they were finally moving into their freedom. As some of the Israelites saw how close the chariots were coming, they started getting sore afraid. Some shouted to Moses.  . ."It's better you'd left us in Egypt as slaves than to bring us out in the wilderness to die."

Yet . . . inspite of their rough and disrespectful talk, God still had his plans setup to RESCUE them from the future toils of Monday and the hard toiling days in the week. Exodus 14:14 brings a sense of HOPE when the following words are penned,  "The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace"

We sometimes get afraid and overwhelmed when the pressures come up on us hard. I know its easy to say but hard to do - but Just Do Not Worry. God sometimes takes us right to the end of the pole to teach us a lesson. Rest assured, he would never let you fall.

Hope is ahead for you!

Your Sins Are Forgiven!

In whom we have salvation through his blood, the forgiveness of our sins, through the wealth of his grace...(Ephesians 1:7 BBE)


Many times when folks who you've wronged tell you they forgive you, they don't mean it.

That is NOT the case with King Jesus Christ. Once you acknowledge that you are a sinner in need of salvation and repent. God will forgive you! You don't have to pay for it or wonder if he'll take back your forgiveness. What God says - He means. At Dare 2 Be Different International - www.daretobedifferentskn.com, we believe that once you're saved, you're ALWAYS saved. This certainly doesn't mean that God won't punish us when we disobey to bring us back in line. He certainly would because he loves us. But never forget - ONCE  SAVED - ALWAYS  SAVED!!!

Just as a note, may I remind you that from the moment Christ died, forgiveness was procured at the cross. (Ephesians 1:7) No one can change that. Throughout the pages of the Bible, we see countless sinners receive forgiveness from The Master. (Acts 10:44) You are no less.

Do you need assurance about you forgiveness? You can find it in Ephesians 4:32. It's time to start living and walking in the newness of Jesus Christ.

But. . . that's under a condition. You can't do that unless you REPENT and ask God to Save You. Do that in the stillness of this moment and mean it from the bottom of your heart and you will be able to proclaim freely. "My Sins Are Forgiven."

If you've asked God to save you, having read this message of HOPE, you are encouraged to join a Bible Believing Church near you, start reading your Bible and praying consistently. Stay faithful and watch God do wonders in your life.
