Jesus Loves You Even If. . .

One of the most touching stories I like to teach on is that of The Prodigal Son. This young man would have made a very bad mistake when he asked his father to give him his portion and let him live his life how he wanted to. The father granted him his request and things certainly didn't go as he envisaged. He reaches so low that he ends up having to eat pig food to survive.

One day, he decides to journey on home. Shockingly, he receives a KING's  WELCOME  even though he had previously went on his own way sinning. His Father recognizes his penitent spirit, forgives him and celebrates.

This is the very same thing that God will do for each of us once we say sorry for our sins and transgressions and mean it from the bottom of our hearts. He will not chase us away like typical society would, but rather welcome us with loving arms, then forgive and forget.

The exciting part of the story is this. No matter what we've done, thought or said, once we, like The Prodigal Son, say sorry to God, he will forgive and set us on a new path of HOPE and RESTORATION. Thus, from today, you can have a new reason to live once you turn to The Master for help.

There is HOPE  AHEAD, all you have to do is access it, EVEN  IF  YOU'VE  BEEN  A  PRODIGAL.

You are Not Forgotten - God Knows Your Name

6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?

7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. (Lu 12:6-7 KJV)

God hasn’t forgotten YOU!

I am guilty of forgetting people’s names. I can remember faces very well, but I believe since I have so many people to deal with ever so often, it’s very hard to commit all names to memory.

Don’t judge me – I’m sure you probably ride on the same boat with me at times in that regard.

I am happy that NONE of us have to help God to remember others or our world would be in a terrible crisis. The UN designated 31^st October, 2011 to mark the birth of the 7 Billionth Baby. WOW – Over 7 Billion People now reside on planet earth.

What excites me very much is that even with talks of the world being over populated with officials celebrating 7 Billion people, God knows every single person by their NAME. By their NAME I say. 

The Bible says in Matthew and Luke that God goes a step further. He has numbered each  strand of hair on the 7 Billion plus people alive today.

Isn’t that amazing?

What does that mean for us? God hasn’t pushed you in the corner and forgotten you, he knows your name and he has carefully classified you by the number of hair you have on your head. While others may forget you – God Won’t. He knows your name!

Don’t worry – Jesus is just processing and organizing your particular blessing, for we each have varying needs. He knows just what you need and he will provide it in HIS  TIME which is THE  RIGHT  TIME.

Speak Life Into Your Situation

Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all. (Psalm 34:19 KJV)

You Shall Live and Not Die!

I listened quite attentively to a parent speaking negativity over her child after a particular situation regarding her child arose. I was awed. I couldn’t believe a parent was wishing those NEGATIVE things over their child. I didn’t pause for a moment and wonder if I would have been out of place or not to interject. I did.

I reminded that particular parent that WORDS  are  POWERFUL. It’s not every child or every person who is able to battle against the negativity spoken over their lives and come out triumphant all by themselves. So – since we don’t know who can from who can’t, JUST  SPEAK  THE  POSITIVE.

The Psalmist, in writing the passage above, knew that many storms, trials and tests follow those that endeavour to live righteous lives and follow Jesus. This is no strange fact for King David and it shouldn’t be for us either.

Over my years of working with young people especially, I’ve had quite a task changing them from accepting much of the negatives spoken over their lives. Bit by bit, I’ve succeeded; but it was a task indeed.

One particular case that always jogs my memory is that of a young lady who was on the list to be thrown out of school at 4^th Form or Grade 10. I not only had to work with her ALOT, I had to change her mindset and make her believe in herself. Well. . . after much work and determination, she did. After I urged the mother to beg for a chance for her to be sent to fifth form, she did herself proud by passing 5 subjects. This proves that she was no dummy - but her low mindset was keeping her back. All she needed to do was to speak LIFE into her situation.

Imagine - from being on a list to be thrown out of school - to passing five subjects. Isn't God Real?

The exciting part about Psalm 34:19 is that God ALWAYS provides a way out of your trouble once you believe on His name.

WHEN? – I can’t answer that, but just know that He will in HIS  TIME and  His Time is always the best time.

So, while you wait for your deliverance – Speak Life – Speak Hope into your situation. Don’t say that you’re ready to give up but rather say I  WILL  NOT  GIVE  UP!

Don’t say I  QUIT but say I  WILL  MAKE  IT.

Don’t accept being a VICTIM but declare that YOU  WILL  BE  A  VICTOR.

When ever anyone speaks negative over you, cancel it in the name of Jesus and speak the OPPOSITE  OVER  YOUR  LIFE – SPEAK  THE  POSITIVE  OVER  YOUR  LIFE.

Always speak life into your situation -  YOU  WILL  MAKE  IT. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Jesus’ Breakthrough Will Draw EVERYONE’S Attention

36 And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it;

37 And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He hath done all things well: he maketh both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak. (Mark 7:36-37 KJV)

They will all be AMAZED - VERY, VERY, VERY  SOON at your BREAKTHROUGH!

A fast traveling centipede distracted me from my work and caused me to give it ALL my attention. I didn’t have anything hard enough with which to kill it nearby, so I had to quickly run and get a shoe. By that time, it had disappeared in my room. Leaving everything else that was to be done, I got some insect spray and began to spray it because that usually causes them to come forward for their execution.

The point I am trying to raise here is that some things in life cause us to stop what ever we are doing and PAY ATTENTION.

This is what happened after Jesus performed many miracles in the Bible. Although he charged them to tell no one, they still noised it abroad. In the book of Mark, (vs 35), Jesus heals a dumb man. He is now able to talk and hear. This excitement, and Jesus’ amazement spreads like wild fire EVERYWHERE. The Miracle Worker had struck again!

Friend, this is the SAME excitement that you will experience when God sends the breakthrough that he is preparing for you – your way. You will be overly excited and grateful and everyone around will stand amazed at how you would have been delivered.

Keep on Praying and God will answer!

Imagine the joy when Jesus cancels your doctor report! Imagine the joy when you get approval on the land and/or loan at a LOW interest rate. Imagine the JOY when you or your loved one wins that court case shortly. Imagine the joy when God provides a scholarship for you or one under your care. Imagine the joy when God miraculously makes you debt free when debt collectors were running you down. Imagine the joy when your wayward son or daughter comes home and tells you they want to accept Jesus now. Imagine the joy when you finally get a vehicle to drive.

Just imagine!

What ever your request is, when God answers it, that Breakthrough is bound to Draw Everyone’s attention. Your Enemies, Frenemies, Family and True Friends!

Keep your hopes up – your breakthrough is just around the corner!

God Has a Special Love For You

For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. (Romans 10:12 KJV)


You are NOT left out!


Quite recently, I was listening an account of how a mother cares for one of her sons more than the other. One son would get new clothes and shoes to wear when he was going to a special event and the other would have to wear something from home. One son would get to go with mommy everywhere, while the other son had to stay home with relatives. I can only imagine the hurt of this "left out - forgotten" child.


This is NOT the case with our maker Jesus Christ. The book of Romans explicitly states that God has put everyone on the same level. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: (Romans 10:12 KJV)


This means that God loves us EQUALLY and we need not worry about anybody else getting better treatment than us. There is a very, very important line in the latter part of the scripture under study today. It says "for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him."


I believe that this part was penned to show that all of the blessings are open to EVERYONE, but, there is a BUT. We must access them for ourselves. We must go get them for ourselves. If your head of state said that everyone who climbed the highest mountain in your area would get a new house, you just couldn't go to his office to get keys to the new house without climbing - RIGHT?

It is the very same thing with JESUS - You must CALL upon him to gain access to your excess.

God has a Special Love For You - Trust Him Today as Saviour and then CALL. CALL  ON  HIM  FOR  HELP  BECAUSE  THESE  ARE  THE  LAST  DAYS  OF  A  BROKEN  SYSTEM! BEWARE!

God Will

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye. (Psalm 32:8 KJV)

God Will Guide You!

There are many times in our life, we pause and reflect on where we are heading and then wonder. We wonder about whether our career path is right. We wonder what our future will be like. We wonder if we'll have regrets, and the list goes on and on.

There is a comforting thought in Psalm 32. Once we acknowledge how awesome, gracious and merciful our God is, and allow him full control over our lives, he will take care of us. The words in the passage above seem to be God's words to David. Since David recognized and acknowledged God's mercy towards him, God was now reassuring him that he will be his guide forever and teach him which path he should go.

David must have felt both humbled and overwhelmed all at the same time. God was going to guide him - HIMSELF. Let God guide you from today and TOMORROW  TOO.

Don't we all want that for us? God's personal guidance? I'm sure we all do. Let's follow what David did then. Acknowledge and give thanks to God for his mercies bestowed on us over the course of our life and avail ourselves to him to use us and guide us.

Once you do - God Will!

In closing, don't forget THE  CHOICES  THAT  WE  CHOOSE  TO  MAKE  TODAY  AND TOMORROW  WILL  FOREVER  IMPACT  OUR  FUTURE  AND  THE  FUTURE  OF  OUR  LOVED-ONES.

Your Difficult Season Will Soon Pass

So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses. (Job 42:12 KJV)

Things will get better soon!

A sound from my BlackBerry caught my attention a few minutes ago. Someone had found our KVK/Dare 2 Be Different Int'l Network PIN: 220067D8 and wanted some instant-immediate encouragement and prayer. They explained that they were going through a deep state of depression and felt like things would never get better.

I was quickly led to the story of Mr. Patience - a great bible character whose name was JOB. During his trial and testing, Job lost everything! His wealth - his family - his all.

He was no longer among the world's richest. No more animals, no full family structure or support. All he had left was his faith in God and his integrity. Though depressed, he vowed in Job 27:3-6, never to speak bad or evil about his maker.

Many of us haven't begun to experience 2% of what Job went through, yet he endured. What can we learn from his experience? Though the road gets rough, tough and rocky, though we may feel down and depressed at times. Though we may lose what and who we cherish ALOT, ALOT, ALOT. Still hold on to Jesus. Never dishonour or disrespect him. Keep your faith TURNED  UP  TO  ALL!

Job did just that!

I love the end of Job's story. THINGS  GOT  BETTER!  THINGS  TURNED  AROUND!

Hallelujah!

I believe with ALL  my  HEART that this DOUBLE  PORTION  blessing was as a result of Job's patience, trust and faithfulness in the one true and living God - Jesus Christ.


Note: We were never promised that the road would be easy, but we are promised a prize at the end of the road once we endure.

So. . . to the person who contacted our ministry today, this particular devotional is dedicated to you and to all those who may be in a state of depression and discouragement today - Your Difficult Season Will Soon Pass.

It's not how you start, but it's how you finish the race that matters. Job had negative people talking when he was going through his trial - so too you'll have the NAYSAYERS. Don't worry about them - Look out - for your LATTER  BLESSING  will soon come to pass.
