Hope For Our Youth:4 New Youth Business Owners Empowered through Dare 2 Be Different Mission Mobilization Project

4 New Youth Business Owners Empowered through Dare 2 Be Different Mission Mobilization Project
"I am proud of your hardwork, your determination and continuous efforts to NEVER  GIVE  UP  ON  YOUR  DREAM of using your talents to make your own dollar. Thank you for taking advantage of yet another creative effort of our ministry, to empower our youths.

Dare 2 Be Different Int'l is proud that you have made it this far. You are actually officially launching your businesses tomorrow." Those were the words of Dare 2 Be Different Int'l President, Khrystus Wallace on Thursday, 19th April, 2012 as he officially prayed and launched 4 Dare 2 Be Different Mission Mobilization (http://www.mmskn.org/) participants into the world of business.

The team was working together to do final touches on each of their businesses and remained totally excited that they had reached this far. "Work together! Stay together! Let us as Black Youth change the perception that exists. Black People can work as a team and can accomplish great things."

Wallace plans to use his business successes and failures to guide participants under his Mission Mobilization project. He stated that he wants young people to get the EXTRA help and guidance that he never got from organizations who boast and claim they are there to help young businesses. Certainly Far fromt he truth.  Wallace stated that he had to learn the hard way and doesn't want them to experience  his business mistakes at all, but cling to his triumphs.

Dare 2 Be Different Mission Mobilization Presents:

22 Year Old Joy "Lady Smilez" Codrington, who just two weeks ago had the privilege of taking over The Print Shop Franchise at KVK ENTERPRISES, used her god-given wisdom to open a store front business at Five Way, Central Street, Basseterre, St. Kitts. A smiling Codrington said, "in business, you have to be smart. I wanted my clothing business to move from my home and I also wanted KVK to have a presence in town again since I took over The Print Shop. Since I am at the head of the two busineses, I went searching and God provided just the right spot."

JOYC
Codrington therefore opened her store called TAGDOWN SKN. It will be an agent for The KVK Print Shop and would allow customers to get instant prints in Basseterre again. Codrington plans to make some extra dollars braiding and styling hair on a small scale which is what she has been doing since she was 9 years old. Customers can have a glimpse of her Mission Mobilization Sponsored Webpage at http://www.tagdownskn.com/

Curtis Mulley, another Mission Mobilization participant and a professional artist by profession, joined the program to gain marketing exposure. Dare 2 Be Different Int'l was able to sponsor Mulley's website and help him establish a name for his business which is The Art Depot. http://www.theartdepotskn.com/. Since his start, Mulley has been getting more jobs to paint Murals on stores and Larger Businesss have been buying his Canvas paintings as gifts. It is Dare 2 Be Different's HOPE to assist Mulley in opening his own Art Gallery in the future as God provides the Capital.

See Mulley's picture on his webpage

Dare 2 Be Different Int'l Mission Mobilization, a gospel based Non Profit Organization certainly didn't discrimate when Joseph "Ilas" Butler, a Rastafarian, wanted to join the program to put some sort of structure to his many skills.
Mission Mobilization helped Butler form HANDYMAN  SERVICES, which provides carpentry, masonary services to clients interested in getting smaller quick jobs done at a reasonable price. A smiling Butler, who at the time was cutting board for Joy's TAGDOWN store said, "This thing is good man. All I wanted was a GODFATHER - Someone to help me organize myself."

Wallace was keenly interested in his final Mission Mobilization Client, 11 year old Cavetha Yearwood of The Bronte Welsh Primary School, Baseterre, St. Kitts. This little girl remained helpful around http://www.kvkenterprises.com/ and could be called on to do help at anytime. Little Ms.Yearwood is now the proud owner of The SnackBox - a little business that would sell snacks to her friends and family in the community. Wallace plans to take her hand in hand because he remembered venturing into the world of business at age 11 too.
Yearwood

He hopes, that she would see this start given to her as something with great possibilities for her future. The team cheered when they learned that The SnackBox owner was already making her own money during the Easter Season and learning how to calculate profit and loss.

Each Mission Mobilization participant wins a Free Webpage at the end their training and guidance and Wallace goes on to start with new batches.

In closing, Wallace said, "This is how you turn a Global Economy in Crisis around, by empowering the young people to use their skills and make their own money in their own businesses because Small Business Enterprise contributes significantly to the growth and development of any economoy"

Wallace hopes that the government, private sector and/or accredited investors would see Dare 2 Be Different's efforts and chip in and help his Mission Mobilization Project both financially and with materials. Dare 2 Be Different raises its own funds to carry out many of the projects and activities it conducts. A simple way persons can support is by Emailing: information@kwforchrist.com to order a Dare 2 Be Different Shirt  - Adults - US$11.04  - Children - US$7.36

Wallace took the time out to recommend the four business owners to his international clientele and hoped that someone would see their simple ambition and probably partner with them or sponsor them materials or products at the start of their business.

Wallace's dream is to attract an international funding companies / accredited individuals that would be fully dedicated to offering outside the box alternatives to Youth Entrepreneurs across the Federation, Regional and the World who are apart of his Dare 2 Be Different Mission Mobilization Network.

Don't Let Another Wounded Soldier Die

Thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes, and thou shalt not eat thereof: thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, and shall not be restored to thee: thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them. (Deuteronmy 28:31  KJV)

How much more must die or give up on life while we merely look on?

Friend, I just rolled out of bed from having my morning devotions with tears coming down my eyes. I am burdened. I really can't tell the last day that tears fell from my eyes, but they did this morning.

It's just the middle of the week today and my appointment list is filled with clients. There is also a waiting list from weeks before. I try to recommend them to other ministers or Godly people, but they all want to talk to me.

These clients don't want help starting a business through my consulting firm, http://www.kwconsultingskn.com/, but rather they are hurting individuals, young and old from different cultures and from around the world. I have to chat with some on my Whatsapp, or call on my US or local line, some are requesting personal visits. Note, no visit or talk takes five minutes or less because people are hurting and want to talk, need advice, empowerment, assurance and salvation.

One of my constant listeners to my Saturday morning Youth Rap program on Dominion Radio 91.5FM was adamant that we meet. The person had tried to get an appointment with me for several weeks. So, the other day, while going through the list, my mom told me to go on that particular day and not forget. To tell the truth, during that week, I was extremely busy embroidering and screenprinting shirts and sweaters. I did go though.

When I pulled up and called, the person seemed to recognize my voice and seemed quite shocked that her radio friend really came to see her. She broke down in tears and went back inside a bit to get a hold of herself. She could have been my grandmother. I wondered what she was actually doing listening to my program as I always get bashed by my mom for not playing music for the older folks.

She said, "Young man, your words keep me going. I wish you were on radio everyday. Since you aren't, I wait patiently to hear your hope devotionals once per week. I don't have internet like others. I don't know how to use a computer and I don't have anyone to read from your website, but I want you to know that I was SECONDS away from committing SUICIDE when I found your program on radio."

I was humbled and amazed. I also thought about the many people who recieve this devotionals and don't even pass them along to help someone else. She continued. "To see a busy little boy like you show up at my gate to talk, means the world to me. I have sons older than you. It's been years I haven't gone to church. No one remembers me like you have today"

I felt a bit ashamed inside, because had my mom not told me to go that day, she would have been probably overlooked like many other appointments I never get to fill. God had used me to save another life again.

Friend, why do we continue to let wounded soldiers die, as we selfishly remain in the backseat of life doing nothing? I have to talk with my pastor soonest because I vow from today, to do things differently. I vow not only to reach the world with technology alone, but I vow to take church to the ghetto and to the shut-ins even on a Sunday when, according to "proper church ethics," I'm suppose to be in the FOUR WALLS of a CHURCH. I can't do that all the time anymore - forgive me. I vow to help prevent another wounded soldier from dying by just being different.

While we go to church weekly, and ensure that we are always apart of the midweek service and then spend the rest of our time at home behind the computer and in front of the television, our young people are killing themselves and older ones live confused. Many of them just need a word of HOPE that would help to re-direct their path.

We stand in the hot sun hosting bake sales and dinners to raise money for events and to build churches and to travel for camps while our members and villagers lay sick on hospital beds or hungry at home or burdened due to financial problems and we smile to the world like all is well with everyone. When last have you told your unsaved friend or co-worker about Christ? You're probably reading this and you don't know Jesus. When last has someone personally told you about turning your life over to Jesus? And they smile and laugh with you everyday right?

I think I'll be called the ghetto preacher from today. I know that other fellow church ministers may say that I want to have my own way from today. (They did say that when I founded Dare 2 Be Different Int'l in 2008 - look at what God has been doing with our ministry).

I will be ridiculed because of my charasmatic and down to earth way of carrying the gospel. I'll be called a 'poppyshow,' when I drop the Jacket and Tie and dress differently to get a message across. That's OK - I refuse to be named among the crowd that continues to sit around and watch wounded soldiers die. Care to join me?

Haven't you noticed? While we sit by, Thine ox shall be slain before thine eyes, (Our young people are being killed before our eyes) and thou shalt not eat thereof: (Our people of value are going to the enemy and we are not getting to see their fruits) thine ass shall be violently taken away from before thy face, (Precious lives are being lost to discouragement and confusion and depression and suicide) and shall not be restored to thee: (Many who are turning away from God are not coming back )thy sheep shall be given unto thine enemies, and thou shalt have none to rescue them (As the unsaved grow deeper into sin, their hearts have become harder and we, as christians remain on the sidelines, watching on and not doing anything to save a wounded soldier) . (Deuteronomy 28:31  KJV)

Friend - I hope you feel my burden - Please - Please - in what ever way you can, how ever you can evangelize or encourage, don't remain unconcerned - Join with Dare 2 Be Different as we spread the good news of hope and salvation, on foot and via technology - DON'T  LET  ANOTHER  WOUNDED  SOLDIER  DIE!

Before I close, I want to share with you a quick word that God has been repeating in my spirit. He has told me that if we take care of HIS BUSINESS, He'll take care of ours. That's the simple formula to reach your destiny!

Hope is Ahead!

God's Company is Great Company

One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple. (Psalm 27:4  KJV)

I have been hurt, disappointed and let down many times. It is God's company that keeps me standing and keeps me going.

I am sure that you may agree with me that people have very strange tendencies. They change on you suddenly and instantly. It happens so fast at times and sometimes leaves you totally shocked. I know just what you mean and how you feel. I have gone through so many shocking experiences with people in life, that they don't shock me any more. So, if you're my best friend or girl friend today and my deepest enemy tomorrow, that's ok - I understand.

If I employed you and gave you and your family bread today and then when you get another job tomorrow, you tell everyone that I was the worst person on the face of the earth. It's ok! Been there! Done that! Employees have done that to me too. People did it to Jesus too. Family did it to Joseph - REMEMBER?

I remember having close church friends who would pray with me, pray for me, share experiences to empower me and encourage me and I would do likewise. One day, out of the blue, all communication suddenly stopped. The persons stopped answering my calls and texts. I wondered what I had done.

This has happened to me many times through out my life, so I had developed a whole lot and it didn't hurt that much this time. I had read through the Bible that the best way to deal with situations, is to forgive even though you don't know the problem and you may not be in the wrong. So I heeded Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

I always like to ask forgiveness of people who take off their mouth speech and break communication with me. For two reasons. 1. To let them know that I know what they are doing and  2.To clear my conscience. So I am always quick to say it, or text it or email it, "I notice that there seems to be a breakdown in our relationship. If I have wronged you in any way, I ask for your forgiveness."

After my conscience is cleared, I DO  NOT  WORRY. You shouldn't either!

Many times, good  relationships that end suddenly like that are not restored fully even with much effort. Have you noticed?

Friends come and go. Family members disappoint and foes do what foes do, constantly try to pull down, talk badly about you and try to tear your name apart EVERYDAY. There is one thing I know for sure about God though. When we enter into a relationship with Him, he's ALWAYS  GREAT  COMPANY.

He is a friend that will be with you through good times and bad. When we disappoint him, know for sure that he will chastise us to make us better, but won't stop talking with us just like others do. He will bless us once we keep honouring him and staying obedient.

God is definitely great company indeed. I can go on and on and on. There is one thing I must say here though, throughout my many experiences with people who just dropped me like that, who stopped talking to me for no apparent reason, who just turned on me and tried to pull down my name, God has always been there for me - fought for me - caused me to come out triumphantly - EVERY TIME.

How can I now afford to fall out of fellowship with him or stop writing and travelling from church to church preaching around the world and being DIFFERENT to many others preachers. How can I stop daring to be different and reaching the unreached? How can I afford to stop beholding God's beauty and checking in at his temple?

Once you stay in company with God, although your afflictions will be many as a righteous person, God will deliver you out of them all. (Psalm 34:19)

Stay in company with God and let Psalm 27:4 be your focus verse, One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

Don't worry about friends, family members and church folk that turn enemies, let those situations make you stronger.

Hope is Ahead! Don't give up!
