Wisdom is far better than MONEY!

As I sought the Lord on what I should share on with you my global audience today, He placed within my spirit the urge to encourage my global following to seek after wisdom. As I started putting together my thoughts for this devotional, I was led to check my ministry's statistics for the last thirty days to see the top ten regular readers from different countries who read my devotionals by visiting www.hopeisahead.com. Here are my findings which do not include those who read via their emails or listen via my global whatsapp audio broadcasts.

I wasn't in awe as I monitor our statistics regularly. I was just grateful to God that Dare 2 Be Different International has a growing global following and influence and one day soon, individuals from those countries will be writing to ask permission to establish one of our branches in their country. To God Be The Glory.

Let's get into the meat of today's discussion. Sadly, we now live in an era where MONEY has become GOD for many people around the world. Have you noticed? Children and youths love money and material things more than anything else and the very same could be said of many adults.

Can I make a startling revelation? The RICHEST and MOST  SUCCESSFUL people on planet earth never had their main focus on MONEY. They had their main focus on acquiring more and more WISDOM because very early they recognized that WISDOM  DRAWS  EXCESS  WEALTH.

It was the wealthiest man on planet earth at the time, King Solomon in the Bible who wrote and advised his nation and the world at large to seek after WISDOM, not rubies, not money.

I know, I know, I know, you're quoting scriptures on me now that MONEY  ANSWERETH  ALL THINGS.  Ecclessiates 10:19 A feast is made for laughter, and wine maketh merry: but money answereth all things


Can I hasten to add, that you can only gain HONEST money by gaining WISDOM. What type of wisdom you ask?

Study your lessons at school and aim to come out SHINING. If you didn't do that and you're reading, you have a SECOND  CHANCE  to start today. I heard of someone over 80 who just graduated from university recently.

Attend university online or on campus. If you're not academically inclined, join classes that can teach you how to use the computer, graphic design, music, cooking, carpentry, sewing, hair dressing, plumbing etc. I've been trying to find a PLUMBER for quite sometime now to no avail, so I started learning to do that myself and I now fix my own pipes and water fixtures. That job could have been yours!

Why am I not seeing some ambitious youth or adult advertising their plumbing services on facebook and instagram? You're losing hundreds of dollars daily by sitting on your skills.

Gain wisdom and you'll GET  MONEY  GALORE.

Faith Prayer Can Get You What You Need

1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

Faith prayer can get you what you NEED in life!

While delivering a KVK ENTERPRISES - www.kvklives.com t-shirt printing order to a primary school in St.Kitts earlier this week, a teacher saw me approaching the principal's office and read my shirt which was marked, "JESUS  IS  MY  BOSS!" She then commented, "There's one thing I admire about you, you are really serious about your GOD business boy."

As I walked away, I thought for a moment, "WOW, people really follow me closely with regards to my faith in God and his son Pastor Jesus."

One of the reasons why many prayers go unanswered is simply because many people aren't "SERIOUS  ABOUT  GOD  IN  THEIR  LIFE." They have God as tradition and fiction rather than spiritually powerful and real."

The name Jabez isn't a very popular name in the Bible. The chronicler / story teller / reporter of the day makes mention of his name in about two or three verses in the book of 1st Chronicles. Why? I believe that the writer admired his faith in a powerful and spiritual God.

Jabez' prayer wasn't for MATERIAL  THINGS like so many young and older people pray for and crave today. His prayer was for a BLESSING, a special blessing on his life and an INCREASE in his global influence.

God saw that he prayed in spiritual faith and not TRADITIONAL  FAITH with selfish desires and He granted him his desires.

The writer of the book of Hebrews, very much believed to also be the Apostle Paul, but not confirmed, penned, Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

That particular scripture doesn't need much dissecting. It's simple and clear. God never changes! Neither does his son, Pastor Jesus. Since either never changes and we keep our faith in God and aim to follow Pastor Jesus' example of FULL  FAITH  IN  HIS  FATHER  GOD, we too must begin to pray in faith like Jabez for our BLESSING, our financial breakthrough, for victory at the court, for healing, for salvation of our friends, family and loved ones, for a job, for mercy from a foe, for acceptance in college, for a scholarship, for $50 or $100 to make it through the next couple days, FOR  WHATEVER.

Faith prayer can get you what you NEED.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much

Among the several commentaries I read from Bible scholars, I tend to like those from Burkitt the best. With regards to James 5:16, he wrote:

Observe, 1.  The qualification of the person praying, a righteous man, not legally righteous, one in a state of sinless perfection, but a person justified by faith, and whose faith is fruitful in good works. 

Observe, 2.  The prevalency and efficacy of such a person's prayer; it availeth much ; he doth not say how much that is better experienced than expressed; it availeth much for ourselves, sometimes more for others than for ourselves. 

In closing global friend, let's note that the fervent prayers and intercessions of the righteous MOVES God, both to respond to prayers for ourselves and for others.

True Love Is More Than Having Great SEX Everyday

True love is more than having GREAT  SEX everyday!

From the very onset of this global literary piece, I want to make something clear. HAVING  SEX  IS NOT  A  SIN! Sex was ordained by God to be enjoyed by males and females. One of the reasons God's leaders throughout the Bible instituted "sexual control" laws, was to avoid the abuse of this enjoyable act.

Sexual abuse against women. Sexual abuse against men. Sexual abuse against children. That is why even from Old Testament days, CHASTITY, MARRIAGE and NO  ADULTERY were promoted by the Godly leaders of the day. Oh how things have changed. Many global leaders of today seem to not even have anything close to MORALS now-a-days. If we would all heed God's word, especially with regards to chastity, marriage (man to woman) and no adultery, oh what a better place this world would be.

I try not to promote myself as "Mr. Perfect" or a "SAINT." God is still doing a lot, a lot of work on me. I've made my mistakes too. May I remind you. Please do not idolize me ever, Follow GOD! Follow GOD! Follow GOD! I am a mere man with many gifts that God has lent to me to serve OTHERS. TO SERVE  YOU. FOLLOW  GOD - not me!!!

With that said, there are many boyfriends and girlfriends, husbands and wives roaming planet earth daily and living unhappy, hellish lives as they feel ABUSED and USED. They smile and joke with you as a facade, but they are not really and truly HAPPY.

This is the cause simply because one party seems to only USE the other party's BODY and MONEY and the "USED  PARTY" is too afraid, ashamed or psychologically disadvantaged to stand up, say something and maybe even move on. This could be for more than one reason to be discussed in another paper.

True love is more than having great sex everyday!

What about going for a drive together regularly? What about doing simple and silly things like going window shopping or running up and down on a pasture like little children?

When last have you held hands publicly? Is someone else in the picture why you're afraid to hold hands publicly? What about a kiss on the cheek when you're parting, or better yet on the lips, PUBLICLY?

When last have you ate out at a luxurious restaurant or sat together on the beach and watched the sunset?

Are you always selfishly consumed with work and only make time FOR  SEX?

What about spending a night or a weekend at a hotel away from the children?

What about still opening the door for your honey even though you've been together for five or fifteen or twenty five years?

What about showing up with a home cooked meal for your girl friend's lunch at her job?

Girl friends and wives, why not stop bashing your boyfriends or husbands when ever they try to go out of the way to do something different or unique for you? When you bash us and don't appreciate us, we start doing things for others who APPRECIATE  US. That's not UNGODLY! That's HUMAN  AND  REALISTIC! I've done that and moved on previously!

What about planning a vacation together?

What about buying him something that you know he likes? I spend much more on a woman who doesn't selfishly care about herself alone, but cares about me, buys me a shirt at times, or cooks me dinner, or dresses me for an event, or comes by me and forces me to stop working and relax with her. MEN  need LOVE, CARE and ATTENTION  TOO.

Men, women appreciate a lot of LOVE, CARE and ATTENTION also. Flowers on the job can do. Or, better yet, POP  THE  BIG  QUESTION -  STOP  FOOLING  AROUND -  GET  MARRIED! That's all women's BIG  DREAM.

Note well, since you're not talking marriage to her, some other guy on her email, whatsapp, facebook or on the job is IMPRESSING  HER  MUCH  MORE than you and you can't blame her for moving on because you're too shy and can't make up your mind about what and who you want in your future. Can I be real with you?

A Godly Life Is More Than Wearing Long Dresses And Hats

1 John 5:1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.

A Godly life is more than wearing long dresses and hats!

A Godly life is more than wearing the best jacket and tie suit!

A Godly life is more than paying offerings and tithes!

A Godly life is more than talking in tongues!

A Godly life is more than lifting your hands while you sing!

A Godly life is more than choosing to worship on a Saturday or Sunday!

A Godly life is more than putting on a religious show so people can feel you are "SAVED!"

Many persons around the world who are professing Christianity and registered members at many churches have missed the mark and ARE  NOT  TRULY  SAVED. They are just dedicated to their church, its rules and traditions and while they continue to live a hypocrite lifestyle and condemn others, they are heading to HELL and BLINDED.

The Apostle Paul in writing to the church at Corinth thousands of years ago encouraged TRUE  GOD  BELIEVERS  TO  BE  PLAIN  AND  FRANK  IN THEIR  SPEECH. 2 Corinthians 3:12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:

While I fully agree that it is imperative that each Godly organization have rules by which its members are governed, I have strongly been against FOOLING new converts and prospective converts into believing that in order to go to heaven, they must abide by the rules of their particular organizations.

When that is done, new followers are being led into being HYPOCRITES and NOT  REAL SPIRITUAL  FOLLOWERS  OF  GOD.

Repeatedly throughout God's infallible word, it has been made absolutely clear over and over and over again that all one has to do to commit to follow GOD is to BELIEVE on his son Pastor Jesus.

Who am I really to judge? I am a mere man just like you, but with a little extra talent to impart God's word. I am a mere sinner saved by grace and in need of help and encouragement too as I don't know it all.

I teach my global leaders to guide people and reason with people and show them what's BEST, rather than judge them and condemn them. WE  PROMOTE  LOVE  FOR  ALL  at Dare 2 Be Different International - www.daretobedifferentskn.com.

 Since I run a marketing business, if I get a job today for US$25,000 to market a secular event internationally, should I reject it and can't pay my bills, especially since 95% of the churches in St. Kitts and Nevis do not support what my Godly Dare 2 Be Different International ministry is doing?

A Godly life is more than wearing long dresses and hats and being HYPOCRITES living a big lie.

To enter heaven and commit to follow God, all one has to do is to BELIEVE  ON  JESUS. God decides who enters heaven, NOT  MAN! Hope is definitely ahead for you!

Daniel 6:20 And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?

21 Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.

22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.


Shock your haters daily!

As humans, there is always someone or a group or organizations plotting against us to bring us down or keep us oppressed. Should we fight back? Of course yes! We should always fight back! Not with guns and knives and bottles and stones, but with prayer and at times the law.

Thousands of years ago, haters wanted to destroy Daniel, a brilliant, multi talented and skilled artisan in the King Nebuchadnezzar's time. Any where you tend to see someone who is DIFFERENT and MORE  SKILLED than the common man and woman, society gets very JEALOUS and has a bad way of hating on such a person and trying continuously to bring them down. Things haven't changed much. It still happens today. I have my personal experience. Do you remember?

The haters meet with the king and manipulate him into signing into LAW a decree that was aimed at destroying Daniel forever. Did this plot work? No! Of course not! Why not? Daniel was a real, down to earth, frank, spiritual, non religious and PRAYING man.

In the morning, after having a sleepless night, the king runs to Daniel's holding cell to see if he was still alive. Daniel's God had delivered and the King's wrath was executed on all those who plotted against Daniel. Daniel 6:24 And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones in pieces or ever they came at the bottom of the den.

Stop trying to fight your haters and enemies by yourself from today. Pray like Daniel. Pray daily and call your haters and enemies names in your prayer and ask God to deal with them and he will. He surely will however he pleases.

Shock your haters daily by remaining firm in your faith, refusing to get into useless arguments and SHINING  AND  SUCCEEDING in your life which would burn them and eat them out when they didn't expect nothing good to become of you.

Hope is ahead! Don't you ever give up!

Stay Focused On WINNING And SHINING

2 Chronicles 20:15 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.

Once you are a true and faith filled believer in GOD, not focused on RELIGION, but rather on SPIRITUALITY, you will always come out the WINNER and SHINING no matter how much trials and tribulations you go through in your life.

Stay focused on winning and shining!

I would never cease to underscore the importance of getting into a covenant relationship with God and choosing to follow his son, Pastor Jesus' example of love for all without discrimination and SERVICE to others. It does have many, many benefits. One such benefit is that true, real, practical and non hypocritical followers of GOD always come out WINNING and SHINING.

In the passage under review today, King Jehoshaphat is in trouble. He seeks God and commands that his nation seeks God too. He gets a response from God that he will come out the WINNER and SHINING.

2 Chronicles 20:15 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.

God has a similar response for each of us once we put him FIRST in our lives and stop trying to win and succeed all by ourselves. Once we let God fight out battles from today, WE  WILL  COME  OUT WINNING  AND  SHINING.

Let Jesus take your life wheel! The battle is not yours, but GOD's.
