Did You Forget To Give Thanks Again? Smh

Many of us are guilty of forgetting to give GOD thanks daily. We get so caught up and busy with life that we tend to forget the simple yet profound things that are most capable of keeping us steadfast and firm on GOD - our firm foundation. One such thing is CONSTANT PRAYER?

There are one thousand things that we can complain about today, but I honestly believe that there are one billion things that we can give GOD thanks for despite our individual trials.

When last. . .

Have you thanked God for the fact that you have some hair on your head?

Have you thanked God that you can see and hear and walk and talk?

Have you thanked God for providing you with clothes and shoes to wear and a roof over your head?

Have you thanked God for your marriage or the very fact that you are SINGLE, like me and enjoying every bit of it?

Have you thanked God for your child or children and your immediate or extended family?

Have you thanked God for TRUE friends and dependable acquaintances?

Have you thanked God for your dog or cat or rabbits, the only true "PERSONS" you feel comfortable hanging with? (You may laugh, but I am being REAL! Some people have gone through so much, they only feel comfortable talking with their pets.)

Have you thanked God for the MASSIVE COURT CASE THAT YOU WON, when everyone else thought that you were going down and now they are in UTTER SHOCK AND SILENT AND REFUSE TO EVEN CONGRATULATE YOU BECAUSE OF ALL THEY WERE SAYING?

I can go on and on about the many simple things of life that you and I can give God thanks for, but this would make this devotional the NEVER ENDING DEVOTIONAL.

This very same verse under review today, 1 Chronicles 16:34 O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever, was used multiple times by King David as he wrote the Psalms. I can therefore infer then, that he recognized that the answers to life's trials and problems come when we LEARN TO GIVE GOD THANKS.

Let's stop making this crucial mistake if we really want to see SUCCESS and DELIVERANCE come to our lives. Let's stop forgetting to GIVE GOD THANKS DAILY.

So What If People Talk?

Isaiah 43:1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.

Whether you do GOOD or do BAD, people are going to "BANG DEY MOUTH" anyway! So What If People Talk?

Some people have nothing else better to do with their lives than to sit down and gossip. Sit down and chat everyone else's business except their own and try to say how and what other people should have done with their lives, while their own life and home is in shambles. The biggest gossipers have very little ambition. #FACT. They are very easy to identify.

Do not let anyone define who you are by what they say about you! Low minded individuals are those that have nothing better to say about people than BAD. Even if they see some trait of GOOD or much evidence of GOOD in an individual or organization, they will still find every way possible to say BAD all in an effort to bring down that individual or organization. It's sad to say, but that's most typical people now a days.

Such people are LOW-MINDED individuals devoid of proper education and in need of an urgent dose of WISDOM. Now you've learned this, look out for them this week, and if you are one - THEN CHANGE YOUR WAYS - CHANGE YOUR THINKING - DEVELOP A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD!

Jesus, sent to earth by his heavenly father GOD to redeem mankind, occupied himself doing GOOD and being DIFFERENT to the religious leaders of the day. His new way of doing things and his new preaching strategy became a very big threat to the religious leaders of the day and the political leaders too. They thought he started a campaign to become Prime Minister or King, when that wasn't so at all.

One of the highlights of Jesus' ministry is that he "LIMED" or "HUNG OUT WITH" the poor, those in need, the rejects and this caused much ENVY among the leaders. He was growing far too popular too quick. Why? He remembered the rejects and helped and gave much attention to the poor and needy where ever he traveled.

JEALOUS, as low minded people are always jealous, they do all in their power to try to ultimately bring him down. One of the first things they tried to do, was to discourage him with his NEW THINKING AND FAITH by calling him dirty names. The Bible recalls many such occurrences. The lowest and dirtiest name he was called though, in my mind is penned in John 10:20 And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?

The low minded, uneducated and illiterate people of the day dared to publicly call our master JESUS a devil. THEY LIVED TO EAT THEIR WORDS THOUGH! They crucified him - they killed him and after all they laughing, mocking, scorging and killing, JESUS ROSE AGAIN AND IS STILL KING TODAY and those who were involved LIVED IN REGRET - TOTAL REGRET! It is a very sad and hurtful thing to LIVE IN REGRET!

Matthew 27:54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

Let us all be very careful of what we say about people today and how we gossip about people today, as we may live to eat our words tomorrow like those who KILLED JESUS.

Why am I saying all of this to you today. I am doing that simply because I do believe that the gossipers are talking about you too, just like they talk about me daily. Everyone isn't saying GOOD about you either. If they didn't say much GOOD about Jesus, what do you expect as a Child of GOD?

Notice, on no occasion, did JESUS waste his time responding and trying to get the upper hand by arguing and debating his haters. He kept giving them the silent treatment and spreading LOVE. All our Master did was KILL AND CRUCIFY HIS ENEMIES WITH LOVE - WITH DOING GOOD when they were busy doing BAD and trying to bring him down! We should do that too and simply watch them FEAR AND CRINGE AND STOP TALKING TO YOU WHEN YOU DID THEM NOTHING.

The Prophet Isaiah wrote in Isaiah 43:1 But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.

God says to you and to me today as a reminder, NOT TO FEAR! He has redeemed us, he has fought and is fighting for us, he will take care of our matters, ALL OF THEM, including our daily issues and enemies of terror.

God's timing is always the right timing. There are many things that I wish GOD would deal with for me in my life and business and ministry TODAY, but I am always reminded of The Apostle Paul's words to the church at Corinth in 2 Corinthians 12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

Let's get back to the Prophet Isaiah's words once more, the focus verse for today. I do like how the he closes that particular verse. He says, "I HAVE CALLED THEE BY THY NAME; THOU ART MINE!"

Do you understand how powerful and comforting those words are friend? I do! The God in whom I have trusted and in whom I HOPE that you have trusted too, says that I - WE BELONG TO HIM. The powerful, mighty, all sovereign GOD who made the heavens and the earth by his mighty hand and who spoke words and everything came into BEING, says that I BELONG TO HIM - WE BELONG TO HIM.

What a divine being to have as a personal friend. I know when GOD is ready, just at the OPPORTUNE TIME, He definitely will come through for me and for you and will SURPRISE AND SHOCK AND MAYBE EVEN GIVE OUR ENEMIES A HEART ATTACK AND PUT ALL OF THEM TO FURTHER SHAME when our deliverance and breakthrough comes.

So what if people talk? Let them talk and gossip! They are of not much higher mental capacity anyway!

Don't worry about them. Always remain focused on the Prophet Isaiah's words in Isaiah 43:1 Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.

YOU ARE GOD'S! HE KNOWS YOU BY YOUR NAME! HE HAS COUNTED HOW MANY HAIRS YOU HAVE ON YOU HEAD!

Stop whining and complaining global friend! HOPE IS AHEAD FOR ME AND FOR YOU!

YOUR BREAKTHROUGH AND DELIVERANCE IS ON IT'S WAY! JUST WAIT FOR IT!

God's delays are NEVER DENIALS. Just believe that!
