Quit Complaining - God Shall Provide

My God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Phillipians 4:19 KJV)

What a hope - God will definitely provide!

Throughout the Bible, the most powerful and influential history book and authoritative word ever written, we can never find a case where God left somebody in need to suffer. That's a fact!

When the Shunamite woman only had some oil left, God supplied! When the prodigal son was down to his lowest, God intervened and supplied. When there were thousands of hungry people following Jesus, he stopped, took what was available, blessed it and again supplied.

We can go on and on and on about many different accounts through out the Bible where God definitely intervened and supplied. He is more than willing to do that for you if you ask. JUST  ASK!

It was just a few weeks ago, I was listening to a mother give God thanks for where she would have reached in her life. She was recounting of how tough times were growing up. She spoke about the struggles that she had as a child. She spoke about life growing up on a sugar estate farm in St. Kitts. She spoke about having no refrigerator and having to turn eggs in the sand daily to keep them fresh. She spoke about having to SALT the family meat in order to keep it from spoiling.

A statement that this lady made, has forever stuck with me. She said, "In good times, God supplied. In bad times God supplied. He never left us out or forgot about us."

There is a POWERFUL lesson that we can hold on to from her story. God would always supply ALL that we NEED according to his riches in glory EVERY TIME. No matter how things may look, be encouraged. Why do you think you're still alive? How do you think you got that meal today? Do you think that the extra money that came your way was LUCK? No! Not at all! It was part of God's Supplying Process.

The Greatest Supplier - Jesus Christ will Supply according to his riches in glory. If you ask folks for help and they ignore you, simply depend on GOD. He will grant you the desires of your heart. JUST  BE  PATIENT!

Why worry, when he's just a 'prayer-call' away. Quit Complaining  - God Shall Provide

God Always Makes A Way Out

And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children. ( Matthew 15:38 KJV)

God always makes a way out when there seems to be no way!

Friend, stay trusting! Stay Hopeful! Your triumphant victory over your temporary problem is on its way. I listened quite intently to a young person talk about how low in spirit they felt for several months without a job. At times, they got angry with themselves as to whether or not they had studied for the right career at university. Sometimes they even got angry with God because other persons were seemingly moving on and securing jobs while they remained unemployed. The only job offers they got were short and temporary and couldn't sustain them. They started feeling real depressed, loan payments were now overdue.

Then God. . . .

God came through in a miraculous way. I like how they ended their testimony. The person said "even though I was down many times, I never stopped praying and trusting God. One call topped with God's favour settled everything. I got a job that fit right into what I wanted to do and provided perfectly enough to take me onward and forward."

Friend - that's just how God operates. When we feel that things will never work out, when we are at our lowest, feeling down and out, that's when God is at the BRINK of BLESSING US.

Jesus knew that the thousands of people who were following him must have been hungry. I'm sure some of them were probably thinking of going home to get something to eat for themselves and children. Some were about to give up on the good teachings and go away. Jesus intervenes in the midst of this situation and feeds EVERYONE with just seven loaves and a few fishes. What a miracle!

The Bible explicitly states that they ate and were FILLED. Over 4000 men, excluding the women and children. "And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children." ( Matthew 15:38 KJV)

A similar miracle awaits you if you remain hopeful and stay trusting. It's a supernatural miracle that will be activated once you have a SMALL  AMOUNT  OF  FAITH  and believe that God is more than able to do ANYTHING.

Healing is coming your way. A Financial Breakthrough is around the corner. God will provide ALL that you need to clear your debts. Your child's rebellious spirit is going to be cancelled. A job is coming your way. Your marriage will be restored. You will meet the man or woman GOD has for you that will LOVE  YOU and not hurt you this time The country or business or organization that you lead will begin to experience a TURN-A-ROUND and a CHANGE.  What ever the deliverance you need - it is coming - VERY, VERY SOON.

God always makes a way out! Hope is DEFINITELY ahead!

Stay Strong!

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.(Ephesians 6:10-11 KJV)

Do not succumb! - Stay Strong! You will soon cross over!

Trials, tribulations and challenges, many times make us very weak and cause us to succumb to the pressures and go into a state of depression. We all go through trying times in our life and in order to cope, we must have a high level of strength and determination with which to progress onward.

I listened to news reports of a gentleman who was quite unfortunate. He had the unusual job of watching a murderer kill his entire family in front his eyes and remained helpless. We can only imagine the pain and the agony he must have felt. Years after, he gave an interview with a popular media house. He was seemingly much better. When asked how he was able to cope and make it thus far, he said, "I constantly kept repeating to myself that I  WILL  STAY  STRONG - I  WILL  STAY  STRONG."

I believe for a fact, that this POSITIVE,  HOPEFUL  attitude caused him to actually make it and not succumb to mental problems or fall into depression.

Paul offers us some words of encouragement and advice. He says, as you go throughout life, always remain STRONG, during every circumstance, believing in God's might. Ensure that you have on God's armour so that you can stand up against the plans of the enemy.

So friend, once we follow God's plan and Stay Strong, you too will OVERCOME.

Stay Hopeful!

Don't Let Failure Be An Option

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: (II Timothy 4:7 KJV)

Don't Quit - Keep On Pushing. Never let failure be on your list of options!

Sometime ago, I read a fiction story about hundreds of frogs that lived in a community. The story says that one day, the frogs decided to have a competition. They would see which one of them could climb to the top of the highest antenna in the village. This was like the Olympics of today.

The day came for the big event. Hundreds of frogs had enrolled to be apart of this event and tens of thousands of onlookers had come out to see who would win this race. Media houses from every area of Frog Kingdom were covering the story.

POW! The sound of the gun started the race. Each little frog started climbing quickly. Beneath the antenna, onlookers were constantly being negative with their talks. One by one you could hear statements such as, "None of them will ever make it to the top." "Tommy is too weak." "Why did Mariana even think about entering that race." "That one is too fat." Lots and lots of negative statements filled the air as each frog tried to reach the top.

It is said, that bit by bit, many frogs dropped off and couldn't complete the race. All but ONE. This little one kept going and going and going. The negative statements still filled the air, but he kept going and finally WON the race.

He returned to the bottom of the antenna to a cheering crowd and proud parents. Media houses asked the parents what they gave him to eat and how they trained him for this race. The parents simple said -"He's Deaf."

I hope you get the morale of this fiction story. Many times, those around us cause us to quit and fail because we listen to and adapt to the NEGATIVES being spoken around us, over us and behind our backs. Stop doing that friend!

Even when those around you constantly call you down and wish bad for you, still keep on PUSHING and FIGHTING until you win the race with Jesus on your side. They will do that to you on the job, at church, in your community, at home, everywhere. But, don't succumb to their negatives - YOU  CAN  MAKE  IT!

The Apostle Paul was a great bible character who had some trying times as he carried the gospel to the ends of the earth. I am sure sometimes the flesh inspired him to give up, yet he pushed and pushed and fought and fought. That's just how life's race is - you have to keep trying and pushing.

Friend, the race will be rough and tough, but you have to keep running in order to get the prize. Paul spent much of his ministry running to escape death. The good part is though, he made it. YOU  CAN  MAKE  IT  TOO.

The Naysayers will talk - but push still. As you do what you do, people will wish bad for you, but don't stop climbing. Like the little frog you'll make it. Like the Apostle Paul, you too will be able to say. . . I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: (II Timothy 4:7 KJV)

Cheers - Let's work to get to the top together!

Jesus Christ Hasn't Changed

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever. (Heb 13:8 KJV)

People Change - God Doesn't.

I've come across many experiences where people just turned on me - changed on me, for no apparent reason. There are many accounts that I can recall. Here is one. When I entered High School, I had a very good talk with a young lady whose seat was next to mine. All students had to ultimately get to know each other for we would have to work together for the next five years. So I started the very first day. This classmate and I, on the very first day, talked and laughed and learned about each other. To my utter surprise, the next day, she said nothing to me. When I picked a conversation, she ignored me and my new name from her was "RAT." Now, fourteen years after we're good again. I won't be shocked if there is a sudden change again after this story is read.

There is one thing that I've developed from childhood. Don't let situations stress you and bother you - simply move on. So - with HOPES  HIGH, I moved on and met dozens of other friends.

You see - that's just how people change on you for one thing or the next. Interestingly Enough - Jesus Doesn't Do That.

Even in the Bible there are characters who changed. Peter was a man after God's own heart. When accused of being with Jesus, he denied that three times. We can share other cases too.

Jesus was a healer yesterday, he is still a healer today and he will still be a healer tomorrow.
Jesus was a deliverer yesterday, he is still a deliverer today and he will still be a deliverer tomorrow.
Jesus was a comforter yesterday, he is still a comforter today and he will still be a comforter tomorrow.
Jesus was merciful yesterday, he is still merciful today and he will still be merciful tomorrow.

Rest assured friend, God won't change on you, like people change on people. Since he was all so powerful yesterday, know for sure that he is still all so powerful today and when his POWER rests upon your life, things are BOUND  to  CHANGE.

May you be comforted in the fact that God Doesn't Change and He Will Deliver You as you stay HOPEFUL and TRUSTING.

Push 'till You Meet Jesus

And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house. (Luke 19:5 KJV)

For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost. (Luke 19:10 KJV)

One encounter with Jesus will make the difference!

Have you ever tried to access something, whether at home or at work and you just can't  seem to reach it? What do you do? I am sure that you do all you can to ensure you get hold of just what you want. When you finally get it in hand, you feel happy and relieved. Am I wrong?

This should be the same spirit of energy and determination that we all should exhibit in order to get an encounter with Jesus. Friend, ONE  encounter with Jesus would make the biggest difference in your life.

Zacheaeus was one of Jericho's most scheming tax collectors. I believe he must have been hated by those around him, for he was rich, and probably gained his wealth through overtaxing. Jesus was now scheduled to pass through the Jericho area and Zachaeaus wanted to meet Jesus for himself.

I love his spirit. He doesn't give up because the crowd is too thick and he is too small. He devises a plan to ensure that he gets to see him. The little man climbs up into a Sycamore tree and he draws Jesus' attention.
Shockingly, Jesus makes a request that surprises everyone. I'm sure even Zachaeus himself. "Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house." (Luke 19:5 KJV)

This encounter made the biggest difference in his life. He receives SALVATION and develops a NEW  MINDSET.  Even though those around murmured at Jesus' decision to abide with Zachaeus, it didn't bother him. He just reminded them what his mission on earth was, "to seek and to save that which was lost." (Luke 19:10 KJV)

Friend - you too just need ONE encounter with JESUS and you'll never be the same again! With your faith and trust high, God will grant you just what you want. Healing, Victory, Deliverance, Mercy, Forgiveness, You name it!

Don't stay in your corner worrying. It's what you've always wanted, so like Zachaeus, PUSH - Pray Until Something Happens!

(Smiling) When it happens. When your breakthrough comes. It'll draw lots of MURMURERS. Don't worry about them. What God has for YOU is for YOU!

He Is God Of American Eagle

Psalms 139:8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. 9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; 10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

The still, quiet, motionless spirit on board American Eagle Flight 9336 destined to St. Kitts, W.I today, no doubt revealed the pound of fear, apprehension and anxiety that many of us passengers felt while waiting patiently for the plane to leave San Juan, Puerto Rico.

You see, it was just last night, passengers had some extreme delays. (It happens as times). Firstly, our flight was pushed forward an hour because the airline representatives stated that the plane on which we were to travel was having some problems. We waited again. Our hearts got all excited when we were told that a 'supposedly' new well maintained aircraft was on the tarmac ready to take us to St. Kitts.

After flying for about 10 - 15 minutes over Puerto Rico, a message from the Pilots in the cockpit informed us that they would be returning to the airport in San Juan because the plane was having computer problems. We were provided coupons for our stay over and were rescheduled to leave at 8:30am today.

Today, we were ready again. We were delayed again. When we finally got to embark the aircraft, we had to wait again for a long, long time. This certainly didn't encourage confidence at all among passengers, thus the quiet spirit on board. No one was talking or laughing. We were all serious and concerned.

I couldn't let fear overwhelm me and neither should you. We must always find someway of staying HOPEFUL and ENCOURAGING  OURSELVES. I took out my phone and one of the first songs that showed up was titled, "HE  WILL  NEVER  LEAVE  YOU  ALONE," by the Majestic Gospel Band out of St. Kitts. I played it and it soon started soothing my spirit. Next up was a 9 minute piece of worship songs by Israel and the New Breed.

Man. . . was that powerful. May I note here that God allowed me to select that song because it had such a powerful word at the end of it.  I had never listened it before and it was probably downloaded to my phone by my brother sometime back. He's DJ MERCI (www.djmerci.com) - The Music Guy.

During the songs, I took time out to PRAY and PRAY and PRAY for journey in mercies and wisdom for the pilots. Shortly after, I was comforted and HOPEFUL that everything would be just fine and I wasn't fearful anymore. I was now ready to FLY  AROUND  THE  WORLD for days if I had the opportunity.

Interestingly Enough, God had allowed me to keep church using my blackberry without saying a word on a SUNDAY  MORNING. As my phone played the songs, I could hear soft humming and singing. When it was time for the word, everyone who could have heard listened. No one complained of it being a disturbance. God was on American Eagle.

I really couldn't wait to get to my PC so I could pen this devotional, so I grabbed some scrap paper and wrote. I just had to testify, while flying in the air, how God had been under American Eagle holding it up and still inside comforting the passengers while they got to their final destination.

Truly friend, if you dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; 10 Even there shall God's hand lead you, and his right hand shall hold thee.

Do Not Worry - Just remain HOPEFUL and STAY TRUSTING. The same God that guarded and guided American Eagle Flight 9336 and comforted its passengers is the very same God that will provide the protection and deliverance you need, just when you need it!

He is God of American Eagle and he is Your God Too!

Wheeeew - I'm ready to fly again!
