Little Things Can Make a Big Impact

And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. (Matthew 25:40  KJV)

Amidst your trials, tribulations and hard times, NEVER  STOP  DOING  THE  LITTLE  GOOD  THAT  YOU  DO.

If you personally know me, you would know that I'm crazy about the power of technology and it's advantages. If you don't, you probably assume that I have a Masters Degree in Information Technology or some similar field. That is not the case. EVERYTHING that I do with technology, I taught myself after much reading and practice. If I had the opportunity to do another degree other than Business Administration, I'll study Medicine. I always believe God will just allow me to pursue my medical career for free because he sees my humanitarian heart.

Why have I said all of that? Simply because I wanted to show you that all my doings with technology, to me, are just a LITTLE THING in my life. I started building my first website at http://www.kvkenterprises.com/ when I was 11 years old using Microsoft Frontpage during my spare time. That website is still alive today.

When persons read devotionals on http://www.hopeisahead.com/ , or articles from Dare 2 Be Different's Online Magazine at http://www.daringdifferently.com/, or listen our weekly radio program on Dominion Radio 91.5Fm in St. Kitts, and carried live on our website at http://www.d2bdifferent.com/ , I usually get many texts, emails, blackberry messages and phone calls thanking our ministry for what we are doing. I get calls for donations towards our efforts and reminders to collect items for our ministry in Kenya.

I always give the glory to God as we see what we do as a LITTLE  THING during our sparetime.

My phone is always busy receiving texts for updates from my Shop and Ship Customers - http://www.shopandshipskn.com/.

During my busy day yesterday, I was stunned by a different text message I received though. It said, "Good Day! Thank U 4 giving me HOPE and 4 saving my life. This is a young man that was thinking of takeing his life. I listen to the program. Thanks so much 4 ur kind words."

I was startled by the text message. Why? It wasn't because someone changed their mind from committing suicide. This is the most popular issue that I have to deal with through Hope Sessions, telephone calls, text and blackberry messages and emails from clients all across the world.

I was stunned because last week Saturday, during my 11am - 12:30pm Radio Program on Dominion Radio, if you listened, you would have heard me tell my co-host,"I really didn't feel like coming in today. I was going to pre-record today's Youth Rap Programme and send the broadcast to the studio to play." I went on and told Lady Smilez, "I can't understand why I am here. I can't understand why I didn't do it. But God knows."

I am again reminded that the Little Things we do can make a Big Impact. I now understand why God didn't allow me to pre-record last Saturday's programme. I helped prevent a YOUNG  MAN  from committing suicide.

Friend, don't stop doing the GOOD that you do. Even if you are not supported and publicized, always remember God is watching. Even if your church family doesn't recognize you, and you use so much of your personal resources to make things happen. Still keep doing your good.

Still carry the lunch for the elderly person. Still remember to pray for your enemies. Still remember to bless a school child with school accessories. At times, you can cook an extra plate of food for a co-worker or friend. You just may not know their current situation. Even if times are hard for you, you are still much better off than dozens of persons.

If you can, bless someone financially. Even with something small. Help someone struggling across the road with some groceries. Please remember to always give a smile and a word of Hope to everyone with whom you come into contact. Even if you're down to your lowest.

Remember, Jesus says when you remember the poor, the afflicted, the persecuted, you are remembering HIM.  Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. (Matthew 25:40  KJV)

Parents, talk with your children. Relatives, talk with your loved ones. Ministers, Sunday School Teachers, Presidents of Ministries. Employers. A few minutes out of your busy schedule can help to save a life - can help to make a big impact. If I weren't confidential, I'll tell you of who communicates with me and what they are saying. I'll tell you of the many hurting youth that long to have motherly or fatherly care, not just money when they need it.

I won't start another Hope Devotional here. I'll conclude.

Parents, Pastors, Women's and Men's Fellowship Leaders and  Youth Directors, you would be surprised at what those you are suppose to be caring for are saying. Technology keeps me encouraging and communicating 24-7. A little time can make a big difference.

Show someone that HOPE  IS  INDEED  AHEAD! Little Things Can Make a Big Impact.

Joy Cometh In The Morning

For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. (Psalm 30:5  KJV)

Can you hear the JOY bells ringing?

As I opened my eyes this morning, I felt a sense of peace and happiness gracefully move over me. The words, "weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning," constantly played over and over and over in my mind.

Maaaan - Did I feel at peace! I don't know what surprise miracle or happening God has for me today, but I am more than ready to receive it and I am humbly begging you to get into that frame of mind too.

You see friend, none of us are immune to the problems of this world. We all go through different types of trials and stresses. There is no way we can avoid them. Sin caused that. Even the enemy tried to tempt the all POWERFUL  JESUS - do you remember? That means he will be after us too.

There will be times when we feel like we cannot take the agony anymore and feel like giving up. DON'T! Jesus bore so much pain and agony that he sweat drops of blood. Have you ever sweat drops blood? I'm sure NOT! This means you can go on still.

This may probably be your night time now and you can't see ahead. In faith, all you have to do is to STAY HOPEFUL and remain TRUSTING in JESUS. I believe the Psalmist must have gone through something quite similar to what you may be probably experiencing now. Let's learn what he did.

1. He continued extoling God (Psalm 30 vs 1)
2. He cried out to God until he healed him (Psalm 30 vs 2)
3. He acknowleged that God was the one who delivered him from the grave and kept him alive (Psalm 30 vs 3)
4. He sang and gave praise to God (Psalm 30 vs 4)
5. He rejoiced in the fact that problems don't last forever. Joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30 vs 5)

I feel deep within my spirit, that every person who reads this devotional will begin to experience their morning blessings from TODAY and will see a progression of deliverances knocking at their door after.

Don't Give Up! Hope is Ahead! Joy Cometh in the morning!

Just Go! written on 3/14/2012

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  (Mark 16:15  KJV)

I never try to portray myself as Mr. Perfect because I'm pretty far from that. I make my mistakes. I have my faults. God is still doing alot of work on me. What I do endeavour to do, is to obey God's commandment to spread the gospel all across the globe.

Quite recently, I had a visit from someone who follows our ministry from Switzerland. (The Power of Technology). The gentleman was passing through St.Kitts and wanted to see our doings before his very eyes. I was happy to give him a tour of where we were doing ministry and business from my home at Boyds.

He had viewed our Online Church at http://www.thevictorycentre.com/ from the comfort of his office, and thought we had a massive sanctuary. I showed him our little studio where we record broadcasts and are working on officially launching our 24-7 internet radio on http://www.d2bdradio.com/.

We sat for a while in my office and he wanted to attend church. I pulled up http://www.thevictorycentre.com/ and he listened the current service on that website for quite a while. He commended our ministry videos on youtube encouraging youth to do right and spreading HOPE.

He had also received information about the books that I had published and requested to see them. I was happy to show him the scripts for some of the others not yet published and share my dream of having 7 books titled, "God's Prescription For Positive Living I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, published by September 2012 and then travel the world preaching and spreading the message of HOPE and SALVATION.

He was very impressed at how the ministry was growing and was happy to hear about Dare 2 Be Different Kenya - http://www.daretobedifferentkenya.com/.

We took a drive to The Dare 2 Be Different Farm and he was amazed again. He said, "Khrystus, this is impressive." His other words have gone down in the history pages of Dare 2 Be Different International.

He said, your countrymen must be supporting you well. I didn't answer. I just smiled. He probably forgot what Matthew 13:57 says, "But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house."

As I woke early this morning and was having my devotions, God reminded me of Dare 2 Be Different's start in June 2008. He said, Khrystus, look at what I've done with you and your 4 member team in a matter of three short years.

I was running through the many ideas he had given me and his word to me was, when I give them to you  - JUST  GO! My mind went down memory lane to our first event to launch our ministry. It was a crusade at Green Lands Park - St. Kitts called FREEDOM FEST, featuring the 21 Year Old Preacher - Khrystus Wallace.

I had advertised it well. Most if not all churches received official invitations, but only a handful showed up. I can never forget that Pastor Saunders and his Unique Touch Christian Centre congregation was the ONLY ministry to close its doors and attend every night. According to his words, He wanted to see a young man rise and do great things for Jesus. We had visits from The Half Way Tree Church of God and Pastor Ron Collins of The New Covenant Tabernacle. I had dozens of personal friends and supporters. It was carried live on Radio Paradise and streamed from our website for the world to see. We had our prayerline installed under the tent and received calls from all across the world each night. I remember it just like it was yesterday. What touched my heart was when a prison warden from a Caribbean Country allowed a prisoner to call in for prayer.

An elderly gentleman who was nursing his sick wife, called and told me how much of a blessing the services were and gave us a Check to open our first Savings Account. It was the first time we ever saw a check written in Dare 2 Be Different's name.

I can remember someone coming and telling me, "my pastor told us not to support anything that you are doing, but I had to show my support still. Don't bother with him man. You'll reach far." Imagine that's what a PASTOR IN ST. KITTS told a member about going to hear the word of God eh.

Time won't permit me to tell you of all our challenges getting things done, but what I can tell you though, that because The Dare 2 Be Different International Team Members work together and set out to Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  (Mark 16:15  KJV), in three years and nine months, we have conducted crusades, street meetings, started children's clubs, provided training and empowerment to dozens of young people. We have held appreciation drives for firemen, police, government ministers, bus drivers, the elderly and less fortunate. We have held back to school rallies and given school supplies to hundreds of students in attendance and helped to motivate them at the start of the school year. We do so much more that you don't even know about.

We have been obedient to the call by God to JUST  GO! It is because we went, we can humbly say, that our audio, video and devotionals reach people across the globe 24-7. We are now officially apart of a network of over 25,000 global ministries that travel within the network to provide empowerment. That's how God can use a small team to do big things.

How have you been supporting our iniativities? Have you ever given to help us reach more people? Are you among those that give clothes and other gifts to the benefit of our school and orphanage in Kenya? Do you give groceries to help keep our Youth Initiatives going? Have you given seeds or tools to help us with our farm project? Have you been blessed by what we are doing for God? If so, why not bless God's work today.

Friend, God has probably been calling you to use your talent in your local church or at another level. Talk to your Pastor and be obedient to God and JUST GO. Like me, having talked to my then pastor, you may meet with much opposition , but always remember, you have to be obedient to GOD. If I hadn't, then the dozens of persons who have told us that they got saved through the work our ministry has been doing, would probably still be UNSAVED today.

Just Go!

Think Positively

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.  (Philippians 4:8  KJV)

Inspite of - Despite of - Still Think Positively!

Ping! Ping! My BlackBerry Messenger goes off. A young lady needs some advice and I didn't need to schedule an appointment, I could have answered there an then. While reading through her statement, my eyes gradually creeped to the top of the messenger window, where it held the person's current BB name and Personal Message viewable to all her contacts.

Her BB Name and Personal message caught me by surprise. I immediately admired her message displayed to the world. It caught me by surprise indeed, because I usually don't see many young people displaying what she did. I seldom go through such names as it's time consuming. When I have a bit of spare time and I scroll through person's BB names, many times they show how a person is feeling at a particular time, some of them are meant to send a message to others and some just display someone's name.

Hers was different. It had a well written promise to God that I wouldn't share here. What I was happy to see though, is that Karla Liburd was THINKING  POSITIVELY as a young lady full of Godly dreams and goals

We spoke a bit via BlackBerry Messenger. Every line that she spoke was in optimism and caused my heart to leap for joy. She AMAZED me instantly. I wish she was nearby so I could have given her a hug. I was proud of her indeed. Interestingly enough, when she messaged me via her BlackBerry, she was reading a Hope Devotional on http://www.hopeisahead.com/, on one of our ministry initiatives that she visits frequently.

As she closed, she mentioned to me that she kept a journal and wanted me to read it and not keep it to myself, but use it to encourage others too. This is what it said.

"Jesus calls us to be examples for Him. The sad thing is that not many people are willing to step up to the plate. It's no ordinary task, but it's something honourable and totally worth it. I'm going to be an Example for Jesus so that others can come to Him. It's kinda like when a school teacher says, "Here is Karla. See how she is dressed? See how she behaves? Look how she always turns her work in on time. Look how she gets good grades too. Be like Karla." It's similar, but God wants us to be examples for Him, not for ourselves. God says, " See my child. She is doing what I asked her to do. She's not perfect and she'll never be, because only I am perfect. But's she's perfect enough for me through grace because she shows me that she loves me and I love her back. She is my Example of how I want my children to live. The good that you see in her is of Me. Do not worship her, worship Me. Come to Me and be an Example for others." I will be an Example for Jesus.

P.S. I had been reading John 14 and in verse 21, it says how to show God that you love Him, so that's where I got that portion of my entry from. "

I was wowed! If you get this much attention and public acknowledgement in my writings, you have to stand out. This single devotional can, in no way, bring out all her Love for God though.

Here was a young lady, not doing what young people typically do on their phones or with their lives. She was setting her goals based on God's Example. She was thinking positively.

Friend whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
When last have you displayed such a Positive message as your Whatsapp, BlackBerry or MSN or Yahoo Name that would encourage others to think about the Lord.
Spread the HOPE because It's Ahead! Keep Thinking Positively.

Dare 2 Be Different makes no reservations in recommending support of any kind to Sis. Karla Liburd - a Young Lady Truly After God's Own Heart. We speak success over her life and declare that God's infinite power will only propel her onward and foward.
