US Doctor Pays Courtesy Call On Caribbean Based Dare 2 Be Different International Youth Organization

New Page 1
US Doctor, Michelle Ward changed her itinerary to ensure that St. Kitts in the West Indies would be one of her stops while on a charity exercise to the Caribbean because she wanted to pay a special visit to see some of what  Dare 2 Be Different International has been doing first hand before her eyes.

The US Doctor appeared at Dare 2 Be Different’s Fun Friday Youth Event on 10th February, 2012 a little after 7pm Eastern Standard Time. President of the ministry, Khrystus Wallace was startled and humbled by the visit. He said, “I saw the person standing out among the crowd of youth gathered at our event and I quickly approached and noticed who the visitor was. I know through email contact sometime back that she did promise to make a surprise visit, but I never thought the time would be so soon.”

Dr. Ward was taken on a tour of the Dare 2 Be Different Home Based facility and got to see youth of ALL  AGES use the computers, hang around in a fun, positive environment and also eat and be filled. She was wowed by the ability to see all that she had been reading about before her very eyes.

She interacted with some of the youth and took pictures too because the work of the Ministry was truly a blessing to her heart.

She said this project is similar to the USA Based YMCA organization and agreed that the Dare 2 Be Different Mission Centre was a great idea and an IMMEDIATE  NEED for the youth.

Dr. Ward greeted some members of the Cast from Dare 2 Be Different Videos posted on youtube with big hugs of commendations.

Wallace thanked her for her surprise visit and meeting and promised that he would continue doing all in his power to make an impact on the youth and also encourage the world.

He said, “This visit tonight means a whole lot to me. I receive dozens of emails, facebook contacts, blackberry messages etc from persons all across the world who are particularly blessed by what Dare 2 Be Different Int’l www.daretobedifferentskn.com is doing and who are empowered by our hope messages on www.hopeisahead.com . I never expected to ever have a surprise visit from one of our supporters from all the way in the USA just like that.”

Dr. Ward said that this would certainly not be her last visit to check up on our happenings.

Wallace continued and concluded, “Interestingly enough, last night was also packed with Parents and Elders who passed by to see what we were doing and to get information about their children attending our Victory Camp in Anguilla in July 2012. I am just humbled to be doing God’s work and making an impact on our youth. This is simply what gives me my joy.”

Revive Your Optimism - Never Give Up

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1 KJV)

If I ever write and say that I never get down and depressed at times, I'll be telling a blatant lie. What I can say though, is that when ever I'm going through my down moments, I've developed a strategy to REVIVE  MY OPTIMISM and force myself to NEVER  GIVE  UP.

Many of my worldwide readers got overly concerned this week as to whether or not I was OK because the last time I wrote a devotional on www.hopeisahead.com was Monday past. Contacts from as far away as Philadelphia, Kenya and other countries made contact to get an update on my well being. I didn't get lazy. I just decided to take a little break. Thanks for your concern – Thanks for constantly reading for empowerment.

While wearing one of the talents that God has blessed me with, I was able to put a smile on a Senior Citizens face having payed a CompuDoctor’s visit to the home. I was bending down underneath the computer table dealing with the wires when I heard the gentleman say – Mr. Wallace – Never Give Up.

Having finished doing that task, I sat on his computer chair and listened to him talk and inspire me for a considerable amount of time. When he was finished, I didn’t even charge him a cent because I don’t believe I could have paid for the wealth of information that he shared.

He said, “Mr. Wallace, I really don’t know how young people make it in business around here, but DON’T  GIVE  UP. I had it very hard coming up. There were many times I wondered if I had made the right decision and if I was doing the right thing in life.”

I smiled because I know that that crosses my mind ever so often with regards to business – not ministry.

He continued, “Things aren’t so bad you know Wallace. It’s just that in between you’ll always find some patches and hurdles and you have to know how to deal with them and push on in HOPE. You’ll make it. You can’t see it, but you’ll make it!”

He told me of his life's struggles. Well at least some of them. As he spoke, I thanked God for mine because I had not even begun to experience 1% of what he went through even though things are tough.

The gentleman didn’t brag about where he had reached in life, but I felt like I was sitting in a mansion. The only thing left to do was to rise to my feet IF Queen Elizabeth II walked out.

From where he told me he had come from because of his FAITH, I had to conclude that during the course of his life, he must have had many cases where he had to just Revive His Optimism, Energy and Hope and move forward.

As you read this devotional today, you may be feeling like there is nothing else left on the table for you. You may be feeling heart broken and depressed. You may just feel like it’s time to give up. DON’T!

During such moments, you have to find some way to stay HOPEFUL recognizing that that is just what FAITH  is -the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1 KJV)

HOPE + MORE  HOPE + MUCH  PRAYER + TRUST  IN  GOD = SUCCESS,  DELIVERANCE, BREAKTHROUGH and BLESSINGS.

So. . . if you’re feeling down now, if you’re worrying about something. Declare Your Day! Start speaking positive words over your life. Start praying and talking to God. Change your mindset. Revive your spirit. Revive your optimism.

Others would have passed your way before and made it – So too will YOU with all your FAITH and HOPE in God.

Never Give Up - HOPE  IS  AHEAD!

What You Sow is What You’ll Reap!

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. (Galatians 6:9 KJV)

“Be careful what you sow because you’ll get a harvest of your seed!” Those were some of the power packed words that were uttered by Pastor Ronald Taylor of Faith Tabernacle Church – Basseterre – St. Kitts.

The first time I heard this fine preacher preach,  he commanded my attention and was successful in injecting a HOPE  WORD into my spirit. It was at the Calvary Baptist Tabernacle, St. Pauls, St. Kitts years ago. I was a little boy then attending a Youth Retreat organized by the three sister Baptist Churches on the island.

Interestingly enough, I had the privilege of hearing him again just yesterday. I like his style of preaching. He mixed Words of Hope with Words of Warning. Dare 2 Be Different International makes no reserves in highly recommending him to our worldwide readership and network of ministries to preach at revivals or crusades around the world.

Rev. Dr. Ronald Taylor

He was BOLD. He wasn’t fearful in declaring thus saith the Lord. He was funny and exiting too. He was short and didn’t stray from his title. We all got the WORD.

“In a special period of time, you will receive what is yours!” he declared from the pulpit.

While Pastor Taylor got his listeners excited about the HOPE that was ready for them ahead in their season, he constantly and boldly cautioned them to “LIVE  RIGHT and DO  GOOD!”

It would be impossible to try and tell you all that the Man of God shared in one devotional. I actually got twenty eight different inspirational topics to write about some time in the future from his single sermon.

Permit me though, to shed some light on a few key pointers.

As Pastor Taylor proposed that our due season was here and we ought to reap, he cautioned his listeners to look out for what they were about to reap. Why? “Only what you sow, you can reap.” He said.

He warned against persons who were constantly sowing ‘badness,’ and were expecting good results. The Pastor encouraged persons to sow good seeds of  RIGHT  LIVING and ministry that honours God in order to reap the gifts of success and prosperity that God had in store.

He reminded his listeners that God doesn’t wear pajamas and he is looking at everything we are doing. Everything we are sowing. He encouraged those who were doing GOOD and working for the kingdom to continue. Pastor Taylor also beckoned those who were relaxing while work was there to do, to get busy and not be weary in doing good.

Through his use of properly defined words from the Miriam Webster’s Dictionary and quotations from great stalwarts, I could see that he had studied well before he took the microphone. I am a very, very harsh critic and tend to look at EVERYTHING.

Pastor Taylor spoke of a famous quotation used by Sir Winston Churchill as he cautioned his listeners to not get weary as the Apostle Paul recommended in Galatians 6:9.

He quoted Churchill as saying, “Never, never, never, never give up.” So too did Pastor Taylor challenge his listeners to continue to fight the good fight of faith and sow GOOD seeds if they wanted to reap a GOOD  HARVEST.

Friend – What kind of seeds are you sowing? If you look forward to a great HOPE and a great FUTURE, sow GOOD  SEEDS, DO  GOOD and get your rewards and blessings.

Sow bad seeds of corruption and you’ll get a harvest of trouble. Pastor Taylor reminded us, and may I remind you, that since God is a merciful God, he always gives us time to REPENT and Say Sorry for any bad seeds we’ve sown. Shall we – together – REPENT?

You have your chance. Repent now and ever cling to the Hope that lies Ahead!

Only God Could Have Done That

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, (Ephesians 3:20 KJV)

God always does things that amaze us!

"Khrystus!!!!" All chicks know the voice of mother hen when she calls. I know my mother's voice anytime. I quickly answered her call and rushed to hear what she wanted to say. Calls in that tone are usually calls of caution, advice, warning or general information.

In this case it was general information or may I say Miracle Information. She then said to me, with a big smile on her face, "You're doing a good work and God will bless you. Just remain humble." I wanted to know why she had chosen the middle of the day to relay that information, so I asked - "Something happened mommy?" She then shared of another miracle happening.

She said, "Do you remember the other day I asked you to take some vegetables to a lady on your way into town?" I answered "Yes mommy." She continued, "A few minutes ago she called and said that when you came to drop off the vegetables, you did something that no one else really does. You requested to see her, laid your hands on her and prayed."

I smiled. That wasn't anything unusual for me. My mom continued, "The lady said that while you were praying she felt something move through her and from that day till now, she has been rapidly improving. When she called today," my mother said, "she wanted to let you know that she was outside hanging out clothes and now doing chores around the house."

My feet buckled a bit and I took a seat. I was taken back. I was amazed. This lady was bed ridden for several weeks. She had personally told me that she was very, very weak and barely able to do anything. I didn't say it out aloud, but I thought to myself - ONLY  GOD  COULD  HAVE  DONE THAT - not me - THAT'S  GOD.

I'll be honest here. When my mom told me to take the vegetables at a certain time during the day, I was a bit angered because that was a busy time for me. Nevertheless, I drove and went and just did what God wanted me to do. I'm happy I didn't delay. I'm real happy.

My mind went right back to Paul's writing in Ephesians 3:20, "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us" God is more than ABLE to help in every situation - in every need.

For the record, it's not each time someone prays, there are instant and immediate results. What I can say though, is that GOD will answer in his time, so we need not get all flustered and worry. His answer is always the best answer at the most appropriate time.

Your miracle awaits. Keep on praying with your FAITH  HIGH. Hope is definitely AHEAD.
