All Will Be Well

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. (John 15:7 KJV)

Life is so strange at times. One situation can change all your plans and immediately command your attention.

A sudden family emergency sometime back caused me to stay up until midnight at the hospital after getting up extra, extra early that morning. You know, during emergencies, all sorts of things run through one's mind as they endeavour to keep their faith high. While sitting in the outpatients area, a lady passed by, greeted my family and I and said that Dare 2 Be Different was doing a great job on it's weekly youth programme on Saturdays at 11am on Dominion Radio 91.5FM in St. Kitts.

She encouraged further, "You are doing a great job and like Nehemiah, you cannot come down now. You are reaching the youth, those who aren't youth and the world."

She said, I'm not a youth, but the program is so much encouragement to me that I do not miss it. Strangely enough, that was the 3rd NON-YOUTH to say that to us while we waited patiently for the doctor's word.

The sister then inquired as to why we were there and I explained the situation. With a VERY BIG SMILE on her face, she looked at me and said - "ALL  IS  GOING  TO  BE  WELL. You always tell us that on radio, so it's my turn to tell you in return."

I surely needed that word. I smiled and watched her gleefully walk away.

Right after that reminder, WE  PRAYED  AGAIN. I was then reminded of God's promise in John 15:7 which tells us that all we have to do is to make the effort to live on God's principles and instructions and I believe this also covers asking him for forgiveness and restitution when we slip up, for we all will at times.

When we aim to live a life for him, he PROMISES that what ever we want or need, he SHALL give it to us once he sees it fit, so we need not worry.

After that reminder word from the sister, I was overly confident now, that ALL  WILL  BE  WELL.

Yes Friend. . . Your circumstance may not be Medical, but rather financial, or family wise, or job wise. What ever it is, live TODAY and onwards with the words from the sister constantly in your mind - ALL  WILL  BE  WELL!

Hope is always ahead!

Russians Are Not Forgotten Either

But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. ( Luke 12:7 KJV)

Russians - Your Are Not Forgotten! Actually Nobody is!

Having taking a browse through the statistical report of visitors to my HOPE website today, I had to pause and reflect on a particular trend. What I did notice is that RUSSIANS fall second among the Most Readers of this Hope Devotional as it was readily available in their language and 53 others languages too.

I quickly googled some information on Russia and came to notice that Christianity isn't listed among their religions. The listed religions were: Russian Orthodox, Islam, Judaism, Roman Catholicism, Protestant, Buddhist, other.

This probably meant that many citizens of that country were not being exposed to the Precious News of Christ and it blessed my heart to realize that from the tiny 68 square mile island of St. Kitts, we were reaching so far with our messages of HOPE. That's called using social media and technology to IMPACT the world.

I can only imagine what it must be like living in a country and not constantly hearing the Good News of Hope. The Good News of how Jesus Can Make The Difference.

What I am happy for though, is that no matter where one is on the face of this earth, whether Russia of St. Kitts - Nevis, God hasn't forgotten them. The writer of Luke was very careful to remind readers of how much God cares for EVERYONE.

Honestly. Would you take the time out to count every single strand of hair on your best friend's head? Or even your mother or father or brother or sister? I think I can answer for you - Noooo Waayyy!

That's what Jesus has done. One of the ways we are known in his record books is by the number of hair on our heads. So when one falls out, he knows and revises his record. What care! What care indeed!

This means that WE  ARE ALL INDIVIDUALLY  KNOWN  BY  JESUS  HIMSELF. Russians are not forgotten and NO ONE is forgotten. I am happy that the Russian State website doesn't list Christianity as a RELIGION, for it certainly is not a RELIGION.

Christianity is a RELATIONSHIP  WITH  CHRIST and it's easily accessible through faith and trust in him. Christianity doesn't promise us a life of roses, what it does promise us is a NEW  HOPE  with which we can live and a special place in heaven at the end of our walk on earth. There is nothing better than that!

Hope is Indeed Ahead - Why Not Trust Jesus Today and Grab Hold of all the the Perks and Blessings that come with this relationship?

When God's Favour Falls

So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses. ( Job 42:12 KJV)

When God blesses you - you will be truly blessed!

The first sermon I preached for 2012 at The Victory Centre, The Caribbean's First and Fully Dedicated Virtual Church that God called me to start, gave me the goosebumps while I preached. It also caused me to become overly joyous and just pause and have a praise party in the middle of the word as he revealed through me just what he was about to do for those who believe on his name and have faith this year.

Reviews from listeners and viewers after, also provided evidence of this fact. One particular listener contacted our Dare 2 Be Different International Ministry to express how blessed, empowered she was and well positioned to receive her 2012 breakthrough.

Viewers were were challenged to hold on to God despite their various challenges and obstacles, simply because, according to the sermon title of 2nd January, 2012 - God Will Take Care.

Friend, God is definitely going to take care of you this 2012. He has done so before and he will continue to do so each and every day that is lent to you. Your struggles of yesterday will slowly and surely pass away during the months ahead. A  CHANGE  IN  YOUR  SITUATION  IS  COMING.

Never mind that you'll meet with some rocky roads at first - your blessing is coming SOON. The scripture passage that was used as a guide to welcome in the New Year at The Victory Centre was taken from Psalm 30. In verses 5 and verses 11, something miraculously happens for the writer and let us apply it to our life today.

Firstly, readers are assured in verse 5 that their mourning will be turned into dancing and in verse 11, they would no longer have to feel downhearted and wear sackcloth and ashes because they will be getting a new spirit of GLADNESS because God Will Deliver and Take Care.

In the book of Job, we learn of his trying experience. He lost nearly everything that he had, including his family. His wife even encouraged him to curse God and die after she saw his circumstance. He didn't take her advice. He kept trusting and later on, things changed. So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses. (Job 42:12)

Friend - Stop Worrying! Simply hold on tight to the MASTER and keep trusting him. Where you need to tell God sorry and ask for forgiveness, pause and do so quickly before your secret or public sin slows down your Deliverance Package.

When God's Favour Falls on your life, like JOB - YOU  WILL  BE  TRULY  BLESSED and everyone will stand amazed when they look at you and see JUST  WHAT  THE  LORD  WOULD  HAVE  DONE!

Don't Start To Stop

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Phillipians 3:14 KJV)

Don't stop now! The prize is attainable.

It seems to be a worldwide problem with many persons starting a task, starting a race, starting a challenge and not completing it. A fiction story tells of some marathon runners who had entered a cross country race. The grand prize was $23,000.

$1,000 for each of the twenty three key points they were to pass.

The race began with much energy and enthusiasm and was lasting several days. By day four, the race was just down to about 5 participants. Who would make it? Who would win? Those were the questions of the day? The two runners who were well ahead were finally getting tired and felt ready to give up. They both had come a long way and had decided that they would just stop together and get the recognition together for they were indeed the only two left and the others behind would probably stop soon.

As they discussed, so they did. They did get the recognition. Worldwide media coverage. Gifts and hugs from friends and family. Out of curiosity, one particular News Agency asked the Marathon organizers how far away were they from the prize. The response was, "The $23,000 in cash was just three miles alway. We ensured we placed it there in CASH and had guards watching and waiting to hand it over all along."

The duo watched each other and shook their heads in shock.

There is a lesson for all of us. The prize is attainable, once we keep on running. Trials are bound to come. Challenging situations will show up too. Some large rocks may just suddenly show up in life's road. We may sometimes get tired and feel like giving up too. But, we must remember that none of us should START  TO  STOP.

Paul gave a powerful challenge to us all in Philipians 4:13 when he says to press on to the prize. I believe we can use this in both a spiritual and physical sense.

As Christians, we must remember that no where in the Bible, God promises us a bed full of roses. Throughout the pages of the Bible, many of the simple and great characters there had to face tremendous challenges. Remember Moses? Remember Joseph? Remember Joshua? Remember Jesus himself?

What happened at the end of their run? Their mourning was turned to dancing, and their sackcloth and ashes were cast away and they got the opportunity to put on a spirit of gladness. They attained their prizes. They were victorious. This happened simply because they never STOPPED.

In your life this year, although challenges may come, always remember that once you ask God for help and trust him completely, you will make it, you will get through.

Think Positively!

Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident. (Psalm 27:3 KJV)

On the dawn of this a New Year, let's agree together that WE  WILL  CHANGE  OUR  THINKING. We Will Think Positively!

Many historical accounts record that a person's success and failure in life, many times, had to do with their way of thinking. This New Year's Day 2012, I was more so encouraged during a conversation with a now successful businessperson. He said, "Success comes with determination and positive thinking. Keep going and stay positive and you are bound to make it."

I smiled.

He went on, "Nobody has to be smart Khrystus. They just need to be determined and put ALL their talents to work and they will make it. Many successful people today, were just average people with a spirit of determination. But - they made it."

His words lifted me off the ground and put in me a new desire to surge ahead in 2012.

He continued. "You know Khrystus, I wasn't always rich. I had a hard start. I started out on a mere $200 - $300 salary early in my life. I then decided to give it all up after my wife had agreed and we headed for New Opportunities far away from home with only $500 to our name. I begged shelter many times but I was determined. I had to deal with the agony of having to care for my wife as she looked at me desperately while we were drowning in debt. We had no children yet."

I sang one chorus, I constantly said, if others can make it and be successful, so can I. I kept knocking on doors. I got turned down many times. My name or company name was not known. I had a bachelors degree, but people didn't care. After knocking and suffering for months, one day, I got a YES - I'll try your services. That one YES turned my family and I into millionaires within three years. After I did that one job, word spread like wild fire." He continued, "And you know Khrystus, I never needed a dime to start my first business. There are businesses you can start with $0 dollars - It's all about your talent."

He closed our conversation by saying, "This year, you'll face some challenges - many challenges. You may possibly be tempted to give up, but always remember my story, Never Stop Knocking. Never Stop Pushing. Keep thinking Positively. One Day, One Day, you will get a YES  ANSWER, just like me that will change your life forever."

I felt like I was soaring with the eagles already. My mind went back to the passage of scripture in Psalm 27:3 which says,  Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

I resolve, this year -

to Never Give Up though challenges come and foes rise up against me.
to not be fearful, knowing that God is well able to deliver.
to always stay confident come what may.

I resolve to rise - Will You Join Me at the start of 2012
