God Loves You Though. . .

But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, (Ephesians 2:4 KJV)

No matter the pain or the situation, God still loves you!

Quite recently, a seasoned adult started speaking to me. This person was slightly over thirty years old. As they began to let out, I listened. That's just what they wanted someone to do, so I did. As they spoke, I could see that they were stilled marred by a painful upbringing.

One of the statements that this person made, touched my heart and made me want to lift their pain away. The client said, "I don't believe my mother likes me. I never believe she ever did." Among other statements that were related to me, there was one that particularly hurt me as well. The client said that coming up as a child, even to this day, mommy always uttered this statement. "You are fit to throw in a bag and throw down the bay."

A silence then filled the room. I could see the tears inside my client, but they weren't flowing outside. What should I say? Four Powerful words then came to mind. "God Loves You Though." It brought a slight smile to the face then the session continued.

My friend, probably you can relate to my client's case. You may have come up in a home where everyone disregarded you and paid you no attention or respect. You may be living around folks who constantly call you down. Your boss sometimes makes you feel like you are worthless and he or she is just granting you a favour. Nobody appreciates what you do.You may be at a point in your life where it seems like nobody loves you.

Hold on to this statement for the rest of your life. "Once Jesus Loves Me, I am well loved!"

Honestly, I can't change the way people feel about you and you can't change that either. What you can do though is develop such a positive attitude about yourself that it wouldn't matter one bit what people think about you, say about you and do to you. God Loves You! The fact that you are alive proves that he is RICH in mercy as the scripture outlines today.

So, despite how you may be feeling right now and the negatives that are being said about you, God loves you! Stay Positive! Stay Hopeful!

Permanent Relief

14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: 5 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him. (1 John 5:14-15 KJV)

God can grant PERMANENT  RELIEF  from your situation!

While my team and I were doing some t-shirt printing in St. Kitts for World AIDS Day 2011 this week, a television commercial caught my attention. The dramatist asked listeners this question. "How can you get back pain relief that lasts up to 15 hours?" He went on to encourage viewers to try a particular medication.

I had to smile to myself simply because I believe he was doing a great job at getting his message out and I believe that many people were going to ask their doctor about the pharmacy product on their next visit. I then reflected on what JESUS  CHRIST wants to do for all of us.

He doesn't want to grant us temporary relief, but rather PERMANENT  RELIEF  and DELIVERANCE  from our issues. In the early parts of John 5, not the scripture under review today, but the Epistle of John, an impotent man has been waiting around the Pool of Bethesda for a long time for the troubling of the water, so he can get his healing. Each time the water was stirred, someone beats him to the pool and gets their relief before.

One day, Jesus passes by and inquires of this man if he wanted healing. He explains his situation to the master and Jesus brings PERMANENT  RELIEF by speaking a few words. John 5:8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.


Things changed instantly and immediately!

Friend, I don't know what your situation is right now. I really don't know how heavy your burden is. There is one thing I do know though. It is that if we ASK anything according to God's will, he heareth us. Once God hears, he will answer. (NOTE: Not in our time, but his time)

Aren't you ready for PERMANENT  RELIEF? Those people you've been telling about your situation, (let me be plain and frank), many of them JUST  DON'T  CARE. They listen and tell others behind your back. So, pause on telling them from TODAY. Tell Jesus - He's ready to grant you PERMANENT  RELIEF -  PERMANENT  DELIVERANCE and a new HOPE to live on!

HOPE  IS  INDEED  AHEAD!  Stay  Believing!

Give Thanks For The Simple Things

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High: (Psalm 92:1 KJV) 

O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever.(Psalm 118:1 KJV)

Too many well needed blessings are oft times forgotten and looked over. That's Bad!

Many of us are guilty of rushing through life without giving thanks for many of God's daily provisions of blessings, grace and mercy. Let's aim to change that from today. What if you woke up this morning and couldn't see or hear or feel or smell?

Honestly. . . . what would your reaction be?

What if you couldn't remember anything from before no matter how hard you tried? What if you couldn't run or even walk? What if you were forever confined to your bed from THIS  MORNING?

Honestly. . . . what would your reaction be?

What if you didn't have anything to eat today and the only water you would have to drink would be swampy dirty water? These are the realities of life that many of us never have to live with because everything is seemingly OK with us.

Sadly, this isn't the case for everyone - worldwide. Even for some reading this devotional in one of the 50 + languages that it has been translated into.

We should never forget to pause DAILY and give God thanks for the simple things in life that we oft times overlook because we are too busy worrying about our present situation or circumstance.

I once heard a quote from Pastor Joel Olsteen. He said, "If you have $15 in your name, you are among the 8% of the world's wealthiest."

It was quite interesting to learn that. So. . . .give God thanks for that too. Spend more time GIVING  GOD  THANKS  AND KEEPING  YOUR  HOPES  HIGH and you will get a result that you've never expected!

God loves the praises of his people!

You Are Being Held!

3. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. 4. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. (Psalm 91:3-4 KJV)

God is Holding You!

Have you ever paused and thought about why you haven't succumbed to your situation although things are rough and tough and challenging? That's simply because YOU  ARE  BEING  HELD  BY  THE  MASTER! A USA reader that responded to one of these devotionals just this week reminded me of this fact when he made this statement via email. "It's not so much that I am holding on, but rather that I am constantly held, by the everlasting arms."

I had to conclude how much of a truism that was.

Friend, I want you to spend the next thirty seconds thinking back on the many challenges you've faced already. 1 . . . 2. . .  .3. . .   Now that you've thought, hasn't God always delivered or provided some type of solution? Yes he has! It may not be just what we wanted and how we wanted it, but WE  WERE  HELD  BY  JESUS  and  delivered.

Do you remember when you needed a financial breakthrough? God sent it just in time - right? What makes you feel he won't do it again?

Do you remember when you were in deep distress over some sought of illness? What happened? You prayed. You asked others to pray. Today you or your loved one are much healthier.

We can go on and on. The point that I am raising here is that you are alive and making it day by day, week by week, month by month and year by year because GOD  IS  HOLDING  YOU!

When ever we don't want something precious to break, we hold it ourselves. God doesn't want anything to happen to you, so. . . HE'S  HOLDING  YOU  HIMSELF!

The Psalmist provides much comfort in Psalm 91:3-4. He says, (paraphrased) no matter what you are going through. No matter the storm or trial that you face. No matter the trap that has been set up for you by those around you - YOUR  HATERS - YOUR  ENEMIES - YOUR FRENEMIES. Fear Not! God will deliver.

Friend. . . some of the best encouragement I can give you, I'll pull from the scripture under review.  

1. God shall deliver you from all snares or plans of the enemy
2. You shall be delivered from the noisome pestilence
3. You shall be covered by his feathers, and sheltered under his wings
4. God's truth shall be your shield and buckler.

After such wonderful promises, I believe deep within my heart for sure, that I  AM  BEING  HELD. So to, are YOU!

Help Is On The Way!

For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. (Isaiah 41:13 KJV)

Help is Coming! Help is Coming!

The story is told of a group of children who were trapped in a burning house. They had no where to turn. They couldn't fit through any of the windows. The fire was rushing in through the last and only exit door. They had run from room to room as the fire moved rapidly throughout the property. In the middle of the night, loud sounding cries could barely be heard above the crackling fire as the children screamed.

The two year old brother had already fainted due to smoke inhalation, but the twelve year old held him in his arms. Mommy was a single mother and she had to work throughout the night in order to make ends meet. Little Angela who was looking through the window in HOPE, starting jumping and screaming in JOY as she shouted. Help is on the Way! Help is on the Way!

Very soon, courageous fire fighters saved the entire family trio with just a few minor burns and smoke inhalation problems.

You may not be in a burning house trying to escape a fire right now, but you are probably in a trying situation and need some URGENT  HELP. Friend, relax, cool down, HELP is on the Way!

Why can I say this? I believe deep within my spirit, that God has heard your cries and your prayers and he has seen your penitent spirit and HOPEFUL heart and he is coming to your rescue sooner than you think. Actually, he promises to HELP in his word!

Be encouraged! Help is on the way! Hallelujah!

When God Erases Man's Full Stop

And Jesus went about all Galilee. .  .healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. (Matthew 4:23)

God can turn things around!

As human beings, we have a tendency to put a 'FULL  STOP'  on people's lives when their circumstances seem to make a big impact on them. I know you are probably asking what do I mean by a FULL STOP? Let me explain with a few examples.

If a teenager gets pregnant in school, many persons spend so much time bad mouthing the young lady, that they may make her feel that she can never rise again. That's Man's Full Stop!

If someone goes to prison, we spend so much time bashing them and bad talking them and saying where they went wrong and how they would never rise again, instead of visiting them and encouraging the family through positive words and prayer. That's Man's Full Stop!

If someone who was once a role model in society turns to drinking because he or she falls into a deep state of depression, we write them off and cry shame on them and never help. That's Man's Full Stop!

If a brother or sister is caught in some type of sin, we stop ministering to them. We look at them badly and talk about them all the time. We never try to help them to get up after the fall. That's Man's Full Stop!

If a doctor says that his patient has two months to live, we accept that wholesale and start preparing for the burial and seldom turn to Jesus who is Jehovah Rapha because the doctor said what he/she had to say. That's Man's Full Stop!

Now you get it? You too probably had someone put a FULL STOP on your life too - right? Maybe somebody said that you would end up just like your worthless father or your 'good-for-nothing' mother. Maybe somebody said that you would never make it. What ever it was, you felt bad and you tried or are trying to avoid going down that path.

I am  happy that God is not like MAN. He doesn't put FULL  STOPS on people's lives, but rather erases man's full stop by miraculously healing, delivering and restoring. His hand of mercy is always ready and willing to move. That's what Jesus' ministry was all about. HELPING.

The Bible says that he didn't come to deal with those who are well, but rather those who were sick and in need of help. Matthew 9:12.

Notice what Jesus enjoyed doing. He enjoyed erasing Man's Full Stop. Cancelling the negatives spoken over those who were in distress. Let's look at Jesus in action.

And Jesus went about all Galilee. .  . healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people. (Matthew 4:23)

Friend. . .the Action Man . . . Jesus Christ wants to erase every negative word spoken over your life TODAY. Every negative thing that people said would be come of you is CANCELLED right now IN  JESUS  NAME.

If you've been to prison ONCE or SEVERAL times, that's not the end of the world. YOU  CAN  RISE  AGAIN. YOU  CAN  RISE  EVEN  HIGHER  THAN  YOU  WERE  BEFORE  AND  OUTSHINE  EVERYONE  ELSE.

Don't accept it any negatives spoken over your lfie.. You don't deserve it and it was never intended for your life! Lift your head up high, walk with a spring in your step. Once you allow Jesus to erase man's temporary full stops of negatives, you will be bound to climb the road to success. LIVE  POSTIVE!!!

You are born to be a winner! Keep your hopes HIGH!

God Will Definitely Deliver!

And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. (Acts 16:26 KJV)

Do you feel bound by your situation? Do you feel like your back is up against the wall? Do you feel ready to give up? Do you feel like you just won't make it? Are you weary of life? Do you feel like giving in?

Friend. . . Hang On. God will definitely deliver!

I know, you've been probably hearing that now for a long time. You're probably all stressed out now and don't want tomorrow to come. You are probably in some deep agony. You really want deliverance to come before the door closes in on you.

I'm going to ask you to do something in FAITH. Right Now. If you can, kneel down. If you can't kneel, ask excuse and go to the bathroom or the lunch room. Some quiet place. Listen carefully to my instructions. As you're in the quiet place, notice that you're ONE on ONE with God. You are going to PRAY. Note: You are NOT  PRAYING  for anything else but YOUR  SITUATION.(That's not being selfish. The Bible reminds us in Ecclesiastes that there is a time for everything).

In Faith, this is your DELIVERANCE  MOMENT  with God! Tell him everything that's on your mind that's causing you pain, fear and stress. (From the smallest thing to the biggest thing) Don't cover it up, lay it out before him. . . EVERYTHING. Don't hide ANYTHING. There's nothing wrong with crying. Let it out. You're alone with God and he'll understand you.

At the end of letting out, I want you to speak these next 14 words. "Lord, I place my problems in YOUR hands and I Trust You to Deliver." In Jesus Name.

Friend. . .In Faith, I want you to dedicate at least 30 minutes or more with God each day for the NEXT 7 days from the day you read this devotional. Dedicate 30 minutes or more to him. ONLY  THIRTY  MINUTES. Your favourite TV show, or conversation with a friend lasts 30 minutes or more. God is looking at us all to see how far we are willing to go to get our DELIVERANCE.

During that 30 minutes, you can talk with God, sing, meditate, praise, give thanks, listen to or read something HOPEFUL and POSITIVE and most importantly LISTEN  TO  HIM. During the next 7 days, if you take up this challenge, God is going to open your mind up with Wisdom from above and methods to cope and live a meaningful, successful and prosperous life. He is going to give you fresh visions from above that NO  ONE  ELSE  EVER  HAD.

You will stand amazed at this experience. As I type, my heart is beating fast. Real Real Fast. I can't wait to follow God's Instructions myself.  Honestly! I don't know what is coming your way, but it is SOMETHING  GREAT. It's like I can feel YOUR  EXCITEMENT  ALREADY.

Access to it only requires OBEDIENCE!

Friend, I had a very hard time today, getting from God what he wanted me to share on today. Then he gave me the scripture and YOUR  DELIVERANCE  WORD.

The scripture explains THE  SUDDENESS of how God Delivers and how FREEDOM and  DELIVERANCE came IMMEDIATELY. A  SUDDEN  DELIVERANCE  is about to knock on your door very, very soon. Let's follow God's instructions to us TOGETHER  for the next 7 days from today.

If you honestly and faithfully follow this rule for the NEXT  7 days, IN  FAITH,  seven days after. . .I decree and declare than you will receive a 7 fold blessing that will bring DELIVERANCE  to  your  particular situation in Jesus Name.

It will ONLY happen if you BELIEVE deep down in your heart that God is able to miraculously DELIVER and you be obedient to this particular set of instructions for this season. When he told the Children of Israel to march around the walls of Jericho 7 times. They did in faith and the enemy's walls fell.

Aren't you ready for the walls that are keeping you back and holding you hostage to fall?

God already knows what you'll be testifying about very soon. . .he's just waiting for you to RUN  THIS  RACE, then you'll get your prize.

Take up the challenge. Daniel tried and proved God. Paul and Silas tried and proved God. Rahab the harlot tried and proved God. Now is your time to give him your life, then TRY  HIM  AND  PROVE  HIM  FOR  YOURSELF!

This word will live on for Decades if God tarries. I can feel within my spirit that it will make a massive impact around the word. For as hundreds and thousands of people read this message at different times, it means that scores of people worldwide will be always praying and then testifying of God's deliverance and encouraging others to take this FAITH  CHALLENGE.

Water just filled my eyes for this reader or listener, who would again throw aside their DELIVERANCE simply because they feel this is fiction. Please don't be caught in that group. Just Obey with FULL  FAITH.

Now why are you still sitting in front of your computer or reading this from your BlackBerry or Iphone? Let's take the challenge together and Watch God Work it All Out!

God will DEFINITELY  DELIVER. Hope is Ahead!
