Never laugh when some falls!

The holiest and the most spiritual men and women here on earth are in reach of temptation, trials and trouble. It is very saddening and sickening that too many folks around the world have grown a habit of laughing when a brother or sister makes a mistake. They also use the time to GOSSIP about them and tear them down further rather than reach out a helping hand to lift them up and EMPOWER them to hold on and never give up.

I've been there so I understand the hurt, the pain, the shock that come when those you expect to reach out to you in LOVE, turn their backs on you forgetting that one day you'll rise again. I've been there. I've had my trials and troubles and experienced people laugh at me. Thanks to the technology, telephones, facebook, whatsapp, I've heard and continue to hear many of the nasty things people say and said about me EVERYDAY - EVERY  SINGLE  DAY as my network is LARGE. I just don't show any bad face to ANYONE, but I know. I hear. I forgive. Forgiveness helps me dispel ANGER.

Show me a perfect man in St. Kitts - Nevis, across the wider Caribbean or world and then I will confess that GOD  ISN'T  REAL! Do you get my point? None of us is PERFECT. We are all prone to make mistakes and we ALL sin at times in word, thought and deed.

When folks slip, we should NEVER seek to laugh them to scorn as is the regular habit today. It was a habit in Bible times too, but Pastor Paul spoke out against it and recommended that those who have a deeper and closer relationship with God be the FIRST to reach out and help fallen brothers and sisters.

Can we change our ATTITUDES from today? Please? Let's HELP instead of LAUGHING. Let's PRAY instead of GOSSIPING!

The cold truth is this. It's me TODAY and YOU tomorrow. We need each other to SURVIVE.

Always Give God Thanks

2 Samuel 22:50 Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O LORD, among the heathen, and I will sing praises unto thy name.

Always give God thanks!

We should always remember to give God thanks for the many blessings that he bestows on us daily. For what we call simple blessings and for what we call major blessings. Did you realize that you have sight today again? Did you realize that you slept under a roof last night? Did you realize that you had something to eat today or you know what you are going to eat shortly for breakfast or for lunch? Did you realize that you have friends and family that care about you? Did you realize that you have a job or that God is in the process of securing a job for you? Did you realize that you own a business that makes you MONEY, even if it's struggling right now? I can go on and on but I do believe you get my point.

But wait, did your realize that you LIVED to see 1st September, 2016? Many died and were not this fortunate. Please pause now and GIVE  GOD  THANKS!

We should ALWAYS remember to give God thanks! When God impresses on people's hearts to GIVE to us or to DONATE to organizations that we are apart, we should remember to GIVE Him thanks too for arranging such BLESSINGS!

In the passage under review today, David pauses to give GOD thanks for delivering him from the hand of wicked King Saul. If such an honorable, brilliant, renowned, noble man as David could pause to give God thanks, who are WE to forget to humble and give God his due?

When We Are Obedient, We Are Blessed

Matthew 1:24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

When we are obedient, we a blessed.

There is something that I like very much about God. It is this. From the very beginning of time, He gave us something called FREE  WILL. Let's examine that. He could have used his POWERS to ensure that Adam or Eve NEVER get to eat from the tree of knowledge of good or evil, but He didn't.

He wanted to test their willingness to be OBEDIENT. Of course, we know that they were DISOBEDIENT and sin entered the world and we suffer up until today because of their DISOBEDIENCE.

God could use his POWERS to ensure that EVERYONE walks a GODLY path and be blessed always and be SUCCESSFUL at everything they put their hands to, but He didn't. He gave us all FREE WILL and  FREE  CHOICE to choose to follow Him frankly and honestly and SHINE or to choose to deny him continually and suffer daily.

When it comes to a relationship with God, what choice are you making global friend? Your CHOICE determines the type of BLESSINGS and SUCCESS you get in this life.

Obedience yields BLESSING. Disobedience yields PAIN and HURT. Pause for a moment and look back at you life. Do you remember when mommy told you not to go outside the house and you were OBEDIENT and then someone got SHOT or was ROBBED or a boy from the group you hang with drowned or someone RAPED a girl in your community? You escaped the HURT because you were OBEDIENT and stayed inside.

You were saved from probable tragedy because you were OBEDIENT!

On the contrary, do you remember when you didn't follow the orders of your head teacher? You got lashes. Or the orders of your EMPLOYER? You were fired. Right? Right!

When we are obedient, we are BLESSED.

In the passage of scripture under review today, Joseph the carpenter was given direct instructions from God through an angel that he should not put away Mary because she was spiritually and miraculously impregnated. He was OBEDIENT and I do believe because of his OBEDIENCE, he has gone down in history as the earthly father who raised one of the most brilliant, life changing, miraculous Saviours to walk the earth.

Had he been DISOBEDIENT and put her away, his name would not have been POSITIVELY etched in global Biblical history.

When we are obedient, we a blessed!
