Dare 2 Be Different International Turns 4 Years

Officially Launched in June 2008, Dare 2 Be Different International, a gospel youth based non-profit organization has been doing wonders for Jesus over it's short FOUR (4) YEARS of existence. The group currently has a Main Team of 5 people and dozens of other on-the-call assistants.

President Khrystus Wallace, Lemercius Wallace, Kerese Dias, Joy Codrington and Yvette Wallace enjoy pooling together their various talents to bring many of the ministry's visions to life.

According to President Wallace, the ministry is proud of what it has accomplished over it's four years of existence on a very small, tight budget with no major support from any organization. He said the gifts and contributions from the ordinary people who are blessed by the work they are doing keep us going.

Wallace commented, "With or without resources, we will keep on going. As children of God, the only MAIN thing we are called to do, is to GO YE INTO ALL THE WORLD AND  PREACH  THE  GOSPEL and make our impact. We have been doing just that with God's help over our four years of existence and we are truly grateful to God for his help."

A team member noted that Dare 2 Be Different continues to live up to it's mandate to reach the entire world, especially by using technology. The team member wasn't hesitant in stating that from reports from the ministry's website monitors, they seemed to have reached nearly every corner of the globe already through many of it's websites.

An exciting Kerese Dias stated that the ministry's online devotional written by their president, brings most of the world's visitors to the ministry's online doors. "You should see the reports of the countries that are reading daily and how they are using their blackberries and iPhones and ipads etc to access this website. From the moment they get their and are blessed, they click to check out other things our ministry is doing and some of them contact to encourage us. The contacts from around the world really, really excite us as a team."

Hopeisahead.com is translated into over fifty (50) different languages and is advertised and emailed all across the globe. Technology plays a key role in getting messages out to encourage change, empower and motivate. Since the ministry's existence, it has also lived up to its ON-THE-GROUND mandate to keep positive youth activities all year round and appreciate those making an impact in the community. Over it's 4 years, the ministry has hosted Dare 2 Be Different back to school rallies, Gospel Youth Weekly Fun Events, Public Service Appreciations, Easter, Summer and Christmas camps locally and abroad, Hospital ministry, Hope Empowerment Counselling Sessions to name a few.

Dare 2 Be Different officially opened a branch in Kenya in January 2012 and adopted a school and orphanage there. The ministry hopes to officially establish Dare 2 Be Different International USA during it's 4th Anniversary month as a means of saying thanks to it's USA patrons who fall at the TOP of the list as supporters and website visitors.

In closing, Wallace looked up to the sky as if he were saying thanks to God and said. "You know, when we decided to go public with our first Tent Crusade from August 4th - 8th 2008, we were ridiculed by religious leaders, just like Jesus, who called around and encouraged different churches not to support the God-Given vision of a 22 year old preacher. It seemed they thought I was too young to be used of God."

We carried the week long services live via Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN's Radio Paradise in Nevis, West Indies) and streamed it live on our website.

We installed a prayer line underneath the tent and received calls from listeners and viewers all across the world. It was our first event and it went great despite the HARSH WORDS and BAD WISHES spread by other ministers of the gospel that should have really come together to support us, a young team with a Fresh Vision for the youth, a Fresh Vision From God."

"We did rise above the enemy's attack through CHURCH  PEOPLE and CHURCH MINISTERS and I can proudly say that what we have accomplished in 4 years, with regards to making an impact and spreading the message of salvation across the globe, churches 5 years, 10 years 20 years and 50 years in St. Kitts - Nevis haven't done that."

Wallace left a powerful final comment. He says this is one of his favourites. "The key to success is to never give up. Even when the rope you're holding on to seems to be bursting and you're losing grip, hold on still. Even when you are knocked down and bleeding, refuse to stop breathing. It's that type of attitude will get you to accomplish your goals."

Covered by The Blood?

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (Luke 10:19  KJV)

Once you have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour of your life, you are covered by HIS blood. Note well! Because you are covered by the blood of JESUS, NOTHING shall by any means hurt you.

If you haven't accepted Jesus Christ into your heart, you're living a risky dangerous life. Why? You probably ask me. This is simply because according to 1 Peter 5:8, our adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

He and his imps are always in ACTION and so in order to survive his attacks, we MUST be covered by the blood.

I can go on an tell you about dozens of personal or family attacks by the enemy just to show to you that he leaves no one out. What I can also go ond and tell you too, is that we were triumphant over many of his attacks because

1. We were covered by the blood of Jesus
2. We used our POWER given to us in Luke 10:19

I always hear my mother recount of some strange happenings while she was pregnant with her last child, my youngest brother. During her last few days at work teaching, before being relieved on maternity leave, every morning before she stepped into her class, there was a white powder in front her classroom door. After noticing that for some time, she drew it to the attention of another teacher friend, who agreed that that was very strange and told her to be very careful.

My mother is a woman of God and placed the matter in His hands. To make a long story short, when she was admitted to the Joseph N. France hospital in St. Kitts, she began to experience complications. My brother was due and she wouldn't go into labour. They added drips to bring on the pain and still nothing. The doctor was called in and he decided to deliver the baby, my younger brother Lemercius Wallace through surgery. According to nurses comments and the doctor's word, he had never seen anything like that in all his medical career. They would have seen restrains, but none like that at all. My brother was properly restrained by the umbilical cords inside. That meant that if the doctors or nurses had proceeded to try and get my mother to push to deliver, both of them would have died.

I must add here, that a nurse told my mother that it had a particular lady, I will withhold the name, that kept calling and calling and calling the hospital to find out if she had gotten through. Mind you - this was no relative of ours.

My mom took the word of a top nurse to heart. That nurse said, "Mrs. Wallace, take care of this little boy, he was given to you for a reason. We have never seen anything like this."

Friend, I can go on with other attacks on us as a family, but I won't because some will scare you right out of your bones. One thing we know though is that we are covered by the blood of Jesus and and nothing shall by any means hurt us. (Luke 10:19  KJV)

I have a tendency to send every negative thing or every negative word that is spoken over my family and those close to me, BACK  TO  THE  OWNER. You should too!

What does that mean? I stay praying for my friends and enemies. We do have ACCESS  TO POWER. Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (Luke 10:19  KJV)

So, what ever my enemies wish over me, I ask the Lord to work their bad wishes back on them FOURFOLD and cause them not to sleep or be at peace until they repent. Once we BELIEVE  that God is well able to do that which we ask, our words will come to pass.

That is why I am very careful not to speak badly about people or try to rip their name apart. It's very dangerous. Now if I am speaking the TRUTH about my experience and call their names and tell the world about the HURT that they caused me and their name gets tarnished in the process, that's a whole other story. So very careful with your encounters with my family and I. I am a journalist and I love to share ALL my stories globally.

I won't tell you of all my experiences of God's word coming to pass in this regard, but I'll tell you of this one. I was at a particular place sometime back when a mature lady rushed to me in the heart of Basseterre, St. Kitts almost in tears. This is what she said, "Mr. Wallace I am sorry, please forgive me, I can't get to sleep." I smiled and responded, friend, what ever it is, you're forgiven. The lady passes me no where at all anymore.

I am never fearful because I am covered by the blood. One day, if we ever meet, I'll tell you of numerous other testimonies of how God delivered simply because we resisted the devil. James 4:7

Don't fight back with your enemies who are usually the devil's imps. Just say, "Lord, I rest all my enemies into your hands. Take care of them." He will. He will either kill them and take them out of your way, like he did to King Saul so David could become King. He would confuse them like he confused those who were building the Tower of Babel. Sometimes God would even make them sick or stay in pain like he did to Pharoah's people because he wouldn't let them go from bondage.  God has his ways of fighting for HIS  PEOPLE. When you see the end result of your enemies, just thank God for clearing your path so you can continue trodding on to SUCCEESS.

Stop Worrying! Hope is Ahead! It is definitely ahead for those covered by the Blood of Jesus.

Dust Off And Get Back Up

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime. (Daniel 6:10  KJV)

Always refuse to stay down!

I am a bit angry as I start typing the first paragraph of this Hope Devotional. Why? - You probably ask. It is simply because I fully and explicitly disapprove of people who make others feel like what they have done in life is beyond forgiveness, beyond compassion, beyond hope.

If you know me well, I am an advocate for HOPE  FOR  ALL and this is one of the themes that I ensure our ministry, Dare 2 Be Different International - www.daretobedifferentksn.com and other ministries that we guide follow as a theme.

If Jesus died for us all wretched sinners, who are we to condemn others and write them off?

If I share with you stories of many of my clients who have been written off by business owners, school teachers, supervisors, parents, guardians and I am so ashamed to say, pastors and other high ranking church ministers, you'd be totally shocked. That's one of the reasons I don't like to be called a pastor or church minister or Apostle or Bishop or Evangelist - just call me Brother Khrystus. If people are going to classify me with other ministers who WRITE  OFF  PEOPLE, strip me of the title.

Sometimes I wonder why God impresses upon my heart to share such troubling issues with my international readership because it only gets me into trouble with other fellow and worldwide ministers when I share on such happenings or when I speak out about how we as ministers and christians tend to write off people so easily.

It is of a truth - aint it?

Guess what happens when I do that? When I talk out about ministers of the gospel and how they quickly write off members and church goers, I am no longer invited to preach at the church or speak to the youths.

When I talk about children's rights and giving each child a fair chance at high school exams, I am ridiculed. I can go on and on. I shouldn't expect anything better because advocates for proper living such as Jesus and advocates for better life for blacks such as Martin Luther King Jr. were always ridiculed, chastised and victimized and sadly killed. Jesus was crucified for spreading the message of HOPE and Martin Luther was shot dead for being a human rights activist.

I am happy that whether or not I get to speak at a minister's pulpit at his or her church, or address youth at a youth meeting, or children at an assembly or teachers at a professional development day, God blessed me with wisdom to use the technology and get the word out using modern communication media.

Friend, even when you are kicked down and walked upon, find the inner strength within you to defy the odds and rise again. There is ALWAYS HOPE for you! The people in Daniel's day HATED him because he was doing a good job and planned to get him down. I like what Daniel did when a law against him was passed. He refused to go into hiding. He refused to stay down and not be noticed. The Bible says in Daniel 6:10 - Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

To paraphrase the writing a bit, the scripture says, Daniel didn't fear. Daniel didn't stay down. He prayed to his God just as usual because he knew that very soon, things would change and he'll be able to dust off his knees and get back up again and live VICTORIOUSLY!

Always notice this. People can slow you down, but never let them stop you. Don't let them keep you down - Hope is Ahead!

The word of God only speaks about TWO sins that won’t be forgiven. Firstly, the sin of unforgiveness in Mark 11:25. This is where someone would have wronged us or sinned against us and we refuse to forgive them. Secondly, the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

Notice what Mathew 12:31 says, Wherefore I say unto you, ALL - A - L -L manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.
That means ALL  SINS – a mass murderer, a child molester, an adulterer and the list goes on. ALL  SINS! Don’t let them write you off. . . .Keep Matthew 12:31 close to your heart at all times. You are not worst than anyone else whose secret sins have not been exposed like yours AS YET.

Don't let ANYONE keep you down. Dust off and get back up!


And. . . If you - READER, are guilty of trying to keep others down and walk on them to ensure they stay down, I rebuke you SEVENTY times over.  While you condemn, please look in the mirror and see if you are really all perfect and unblemished.

May God's hand of grace and mercy rest upon you and may you never be at peace until you consider your ways and encourage, restore, help and promote instead of pull down. . . In Jesus Name.
