Good Success

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. (Joshua 1:8 KJV)

God's desire for us all is that we have GOOD  SUCCESS.

I listened quite attentively to Pastor Clive Saunders, shepherd of the Unique Touch Christian Centre , the church that I attended sometime back, as he address his flock. It was evident that he was well prepared and well studied to share from the Bible and empower his listeners.

His focus verse was the very same one above, that is under review today. His repetition and enthusiasm on two words - "GOOD  SUCCESS" throughout the sermon showed that he wanted us all to get that particular word from God.

He carried us down a path of instruction and guidance that showed how it was possible for us all, to grasp hold of this good success he was talking about. I had never heard that particular passage of scripture in Joshua delivered that way. Surely, I got the word and couldn't wait to share it with you.

You see, as I reach forward in HOPE for a BETTER  DAY, I don't want to leave you behind. Good soldiers don't leave each other behind. Not even the dead.

Friend, it's a very simple process in order to gain the GOOD  SUCCESS that Joshua speaks about. All we have to do is to ensure that we take the teachings from the Bible and apply them to our hearts and wrap them about our body and mind so they become entwined in us. When we do that, we would be certain that we would be heading down the path to GOOD  SUCCESS.

As I took up my Bible today to read, I was again stunned by a particular revelation. I had to conclude that this great book does indeed cover EVERYTHING. So, it's quite simple. If the Bible covers everything, that means it is a perfect GUIDE for us all to do what is right and a perfect CORRECTIONAL  TOOL when we slip up and fall.

As Pastor Saunders postulated throughout the sermon today, if we properly follow God's instructions given in the Bible in totality, and use it to plan our lives, we can be assured that the end result would definitely be GOOD  SUCCESS. Not just success mind you, but GOOD  SUCCESS.

It is now I understand more, why my English and Literature teachers always underscored the importance of using adjectives. They always add much value to all types of nouns.

Friend, hang on to God's Word and Follow it. You'll be guaranteed that GOOD  SUCCESS will come your way.

Your dream of driving a car, owning a piece of land, building your own house, getting out of debt, winning that court case, going to study, seeing your children go down the right path, having your marriage restored or what ever it may be will all come to pass.

It's a bargain. Follow God's instructions and He'll reward you with a prize. It may be here on earth or in heaven. Where ever and when ever you get it, it'll be all yours to keep and rejoice.

Much Hope is Ahead once we never let God's word depart from our hearts and mouths.

GOOD  SUCCESS  IS  COMING  YOUR  WAY  VERY  SOON!

GOOD NEWS!!! GOOD NEWS!!!

And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. ( Luke 2:10 KJV)

How do you react when you get good news?

We all act differently at the sound of good news. Some of us laugh or cry. Some jump up and down. Some scream. However we act though, that is our personal way of expressing our joy and excitement.

There is one expression of joy that has been etched in my mind. It is that of a sister in the Lord who happened to receive some good news while she was at church. This 'not too thin' lady ran up and down the isle as fast as she could screaming and praising God. She slipped on the rug and got back up again and continued running and shouting and praising God.

Her testimony after explained why she to act that way. It was indeed testament that her deliverance MUST have been God. There is one thing that stood out as she shared. It was her FAITH and HOPE in God that pulled in her BREAKTHROUGH.

Good news comes in all shapes and forms and packages. That's just how God moves at times. Good news would come from people you've never met and sometimes people you least expect. Good news is many times spoken by JUDGES.

God sent the good news of his Son's birth to the shepherds through an angel. Having received this news, they were all astonished and amazed.

This same astonishment and amazement will soon be falling on you as you keep your  FAITH and HOPE high that God is going to work out EVERY matter and amaze the world with your DELIVERANCE very soon.

Good News is heading your way! Stay Optimistic, it'll soon be knocking. Hope is Definitely ahead!

Every Big Fire Starts As A Little Thing

33 And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth, and he a man of war from his youth. 34 And David said unto Saul, Thy servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion, and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock: (1 Samuel 17:33-34 KJV)

Have you ever seen someone light a fire and it grows into a big fire immediately? I'm sure your answer is NAY.

Every big fire starts as a little thing. I love to hear stories about how some businesses had their challenging start. I can remember vividly hearing some first hand accounts. One elderly and successful entrepreneur told me that he started out carrying around what he could on a bicycle before he ever got a store. Another one told me that he started shoveling and transporting dirt in a wheel barrow before later getting a truck. I can remember too, starting out patching bicycle wheels, charging 50 cents for air and also spray painting bicycles from my home's verandah at age 11 before growing my business into www.kvklives.com

With no capital other than my monthly $20 allowance, I kept my fire ablaze till today. Praise God, with my faith high, the fire is much bigger now. I haven't stopped fanning the flames for I know God will provide more capital whether through investors or otherwise to make my dreams even bigger. Thus, while I wait, I keep my HOPE's  HIGH even though times are challenging.

The point I am raising here is that nothing grows big instantly. It usually always starts small with many trials and tests before something big is accomplished. Thus, one should never get down and discouraged during the small, trying days for a Big Thing lies ahead.

In the passage above, little David finds that his brothers and the Israel team were afraid to go up against Goliath, a warrior from Philistine. He begs them to send him in to conquer this giant. The King and those in the Israelite army underestimated the power of a SMALL  MAN  with  GOD's  HELP. And Saul said to David, Thou art not able to go against this Philistine to fight with him: for thou art but a youth. . .

David knew otherwise. He was certain that God would help him. With his faith high, he said, . . . The LORD that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine. And Saul said unto David, Go, and the LORD be with thee. (1 Samuel 17:37)

Biblical history tells us of how David slew Goliath with a single stone and beheaded him with his very own sword. Never underestimate small people and small starts for great things can become of them.

You may probably be at a point in your life where you feel that nothing big will come out of your little dream. Cast away that thought today. Everything usually starts small. DON'T  GIVE  UP! The key to becoming big and accomplishing much is to stay OPTIMISTIC, HOPEFUL and DETERMINED with God in your heart and face your challenges head on.

Something great can become of your dream and vision too. Just remember, every Big Fire Starts as a Little Thing and you have to be brave, bold and courageous and go after what you want with God's Help even though many will try to stop you and slow you down, even Prime Ministers. There will be NAYSAYERS, but push still. Weren't there negative people talking in David's time too?

Your little fire will soon become a big thing!

May God Add His Choicest Blessings to Your Life for Supporting His Work!

You Can't Turn Back The Hands Of Time But. . .

And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: (Exodus 14:15 KJV)

You can't turn back the hands of time but you can choose to go FORWARD.

I paused to reflect today on the many mistakes I've made before and how the Lord had always helped and delivered after my penitent spirit. Sadly, I still find myself feeling sorry even after I would have made the mistake or mistakes some time back and know that God had forgiven me.

I spend time wishing I had never done certain things, failing to recognize still, that God had forgiven me and it was time to MOVE  ON. While nicely seated quite recently, with my face in the palm of my hand and my elbow on my leg, God said to me - YOU  CAN'T  TURN BACK  THE  HANDS  OF  TIME  BUT  YOU  CAN  CHOOSE  TO  MOVE  FORWARD.

I sat up immediately and my HOPE was refreshed. That was indeed a truism. My heart quickly went back to the book of Exodus where I remember God had said something quite similar to Moses and I read and re-read and re-read that up-to-the-time revelation several times.

Moses was at a point in his life like many of us are today. He was down, depressed and disheartened. As one reviews this passage of scripture, Moses doesn't utter a word, but God saw his heart. He was crying and hurting internally probably because of PAST disappointments.

God sees and knows your heart too. He is going to take care of you - Don't Worry!

God's word to Moses is POWERFUL. He says. . . "Moses, why cry unto me? Tell the children of Israel that they need to go forward. They need to advance."

I hope you're overly excited like I am. God wants you to know that you need to stop crying and worrying. Stop letting what people say and do stress you out and cause you to live in fear. Things happen. Stop looking back, set your eyes on what is AHEAD - A New Hope. A New Opportunity. A New Success!

While you read, someone is planning for you, BUT GOD. God has you right in the PALM of his hands and he will be there for you. Don't Give Up!

You can't turn back the hands of time, but you can choose your DESTINY ahead. Your future can be drag, boring and disappointing or it can be BRIGHT, PROSPEROUS and SUCCESSFUL despite your current situation. Keep looking up. Keep looking ahead.

Hope is Ahead - Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

The Impossible Can Become Possible

And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.(Luke 18:27 KJV)

Have you ever wanted something that you thought was impossible and then you got it?

How do you feel after? Let me jog your memory a bit. Do you remember when you really wanted that bicycle or doll set for your birthday or Christmas and your parents kept saying things were tight and difficult and it won't be possible that year? You felt down and depressed until the day came and you realized they had really come through for you.

Do you remember when you went to the interview and everyone in the room with you seemed more qualified and intelligent than you? You felt that there was no way in the world you would ever get that job and then out of the blue, do you remember when you got a call, then an official letter to start working soon after?

Do you remember when everyone thought that you were a hardened criminal because you were arrested and had your mugshot published all around the world and then you won your case and put them to shame?

You're probably smiling by now and remembering different cases where what seemed IMPOSSIBLE suddenly became POSSIBLE.

Wait! Wait! Wait! It wasn't luck - it was GOD!

Throughout the pages of the Bible, we see God making what seemed impossible to man - POSSIBLE.

He caused the blind to see and the dumb to talk. He spoke and the dead rose. Jesus called and allowed Peter to walk on water. He commanded people who couldn't walk to take up their beds and move on. He told storms to behave themselves.

Do you remember hearing that Jesus took a few loaves and fishes and fed over four thousand men, besides women and children? (Matthew 14:21)

What about his miracle of turning regular clear water into some of the BEST  WINE that anyone would have ever tasted?

Job lost everything. EVERYTHING I say. EVERYTHING. Then, God showed up and blessed his latter end. This caused him to receive much more than he had at the very beginning of his life. In today's society, the world would write you off as bankrupt.

When you have it and things are well - you usually have many friends. When it's tough, and you're down to your lowest, you're usually all ALONE. I've been there, DONE  THAT! Do you remember?

I don't ever remember hearing that the woman with the issue of blood had friends who were accompanying her to doctor visits or even to see Jesus.

Something that doctors had called IMPOSSIBLE to heal, she knew that with Jesus the master - Healing was indeed possible. A touch of the hem of his garment, proved this true.

Hebrews 13:8 still stands true. "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." The God of many miracles YESTERDAY, still can perform great things today. All we have to do is ask.

Friend, many of us long for some type of SUPERNATURAL showing of God's power in our life.

Don't ever think that it's impossible, for it certainly is POSSIBLE. Just as we turn up our radio and television when we want more sound, let's take the opportunity now to TURN  UP OUR  FAITH  because we want more SUPERNATURAL  BLESSINGS  TO  RUSH  IN  ON  US.

With your FAITH and HOPE turned up to all, rest assured that that which once seemed impossible will suddenly and miraculously become POSSIBLE in your life.

Healing is coming your way! A change in your marriage is at hand! Your financial breakthrough will soon come knocking! Your children will come to know the Lord as Saviour!. A call for a job will soon come! Approval on the loan is coming! You will be favoured with that court case! I was. Your vision and dreams will come to pass soon!

Hope is Ahead and God can make what seems IMPOSSIBLE - POSSIBLE!

Just smile - Don't Worry! Hope is definitely ahead for YOU!
