Thank God I Left My Former Church - Thank God I Moved On!

And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  Mark 16:15  KJV

Like Abraham, Like Noah, Like Moses, Like Paul, you have to just be obedient to God's calling on your life and JUST  MOVE sometimes.

As I lay in my bed early this morning, I was reflecting on many decisions I've made during the course of my life. Some were good and some were bad. I started wondering what was the best decision that I ever made in all my life and I had to come to this conclusion.

My 2nd best decision, of course after accepting Jesus, was writing my letter of resignation from my former church and letting God lead me to do HIS  WORK. I started having my own little praise party in my bedroom. You see friend, approximately four years and one month ago, I was actively serving as president of a kid's club at my former church. At a board meeting, my service to God and my many invitations to preach by churches across the Federation of St. Kitts - Nevis became a big contentious issue. Imagine that!

Hear me out. TO  PREACH  THE  GOSPEL! TO PREACH  THE  GOSPEL! (Not because I was committing fornication or stealing church money, but the issue was that I was accepting invitations TO  PREACH when I should be in church) Note well: I always let the leadership know that I got an invitation and wouldn't be in church on Particular Sundays. Sometimes my many bookings had me missing service from my home church for consecutive Sundays.

I always felt since God was opening doors to use me to carry his word, then I had to be obedient. Others didn't think that way.

How foolhardy!

So, like Jesus, I sat silently in the meeting and I didn't say a word as I was ridiculed for ACCEPTING  INVITATIONS  TO  CARRY  THE  GOSPEL  EVERYWHERE. I looked around at the other board members to see if anyone would jump in for my defense since I wasn't doing anything WRONG. Everyone kept silent.

I was twenty-one (21) then. I felt even the more empowered. I was being crucified for My Lord's Sake by someone who was to be God's representative too. I'm human, so I won't tell you that I didn't feel humiliated. Jesus did sweat drops of blood and he was thirsty too at the cross - RIGHT?

I was in a state of shock too - Bashed for preaching the gospel. Bashed with no support from other leadership colleagues when I wasn't doing anything wrong.

If you know me well, you'll know that you can only slow me down but YOU  CAN  NEVER  STOP  ME.

I delivered my letter of resignation first thing the following morning, returned all church owned material that I had at home and I was on my way into the unknown, with one AIM in mind. To Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  Mark 16:15  KJV

I won't tell you of all the comments that were being passed about me and my sudden and abrupt move or I'll leave you in a state of SHOCK.

Friend! That was the best decision of my life. I resigned the May 2008, founded Dare 2 Be Different International - http://www.d2bdifferent.com/  in June 2008 and held our first ever crusade August 2008. It was truly blessed by God, carried live on Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN) Radio Paradise in Nevis and streamed live from my ministry website. We had viewers and touched lives from all across the globe. A radio listener actually sent us our first check to open our Ministry Bank Account.

If God was angry with my move, he wouldn't have blessed us from the start and wouldn't have brought us to four (4) years already. (June 2008 - 2012)

I am happy  everything happened that way. IT  SET  ME  ON  FIRE for Christ even more. My invitations to preach outside of St. Kitts-Nevis started coming in after people started hearing my story.

If I had remained under leadership that wanted to hold me back and not see me progress, I wouldn't be where I am today. If I had remained under leadership that schemingly planned to only get me licensed as a preacher and not ordained so that I could be controlled and censored and my license could be revoked, I wouldn't be where I am today.

Thank God I left, with a MISSION  in mind. A mission to obey God's instructions and carry the gospel around the globe. As president of Dare 2 Be Different International, http://www.d2bdifferent.com/ , I can testify that  God has done wonders through our ministry in four short years. What many ministries 10 years old, 25 years old and 50 years old haven't done as yet, we have DONE ALREADY. Had I been at my former church where I was being crucified for carrying the Gospel, this ministry would be non-existent.

Today, Dare 2 Be Different International, a small group of four dynamic young people, with dozens of other youth and adults eager to join, has been reaching the world for Christ on foot and using the technology. We don't just minister in our local St. Kitts - Nevis alone anymore, but our messages reach the world. Our popular devotionals on http://www.hopeisahead.com/ have been creating a stir and inspiration globally. This message and many others are translated into over fifty different languages and marketing firms help us spread them all across the globe.

Can I tell you that it was all God-planned? Dare 2 Be Different International took over a ministry in Kenya now called the Dare 2 Be Different Comprehensive School and Orphanage and we have an active ministry on the ground that we are hoping to visit soon. Follow it on http://www.daretoebdifferentkenya.com/

God gave me the vision to start The Caribbean's 1st Fully Dedicated Internet Church called The Victory Centre at http://www.thevictorycentre.com/ and dozens and dozens of persons attend everyday to replay or listen live sermons and presentations 24-7 / 365 days a year UNCENSORED.

I won't use this devotional to tell you about the many other areas where we are making an impact. What I will use it to say though, is this. Never let a man or woman or a group or church or family or whoever, keep you back from carrying out God's call on your life. I will carry this story - MY  STORY to every continent that God would allow me to put my foot on to preach to inspire young and old Christians that they should not let ANYONE keep them back when God would have commissioned them with a talent.

Dare 2 Be Different International (http://www.d2bdifferent.com/) , a ministry they laughed at and said would never last, is now at the stage of raising funds to see the dream of The Dare 2 Be Different Mission Centre come to pass. Click HERE to read about it.

Thank God I Left My Former Church - Thank God I Moved On! Are you being held back? Not being used? Talented but being suppressed? Are you in a church where only one set of people are being used and you are not guided as to how you can use your talent at that church or in some other ministry attached to the church?

Consider friend - you are called by God to make an impact. You don't have to wait on MAN.

HOPE  IS  AHEAD  FOR  YOU  once once you rise up, stop being held back and MOVE  ON. I did it and look at the impact Dare 2 Be Different International is making around the world!

BLOWING THE WHISTLE: Homosexuality is in Caribbean Churches Too

Friend, around the middle of May 2012, I wrote a devotional titled, HomoSexuality In The Church - It's Right in The Caribbean Too (My Near Close Encounter). I honestly didn't instruct our marketing company to do an email blast back then, I just let it sit on http://www.hopeisahead.com/ for who ever it would help.

When I received our report stating which Hope Devotionals have been read the most, interestingly enough, this was to the top of the list even though I didn't email-blast it and more young people started contacting me and thanking me for sharing. They wanted to talk, share and relieve their past hurts and stresses brought upon them by homosexual ministers of the gospel and high ranking church leaders.

I understand them soooo well simply because of my near close encounter too. So many boys and men have fallen prey. Do you know that girls and women have become victims of pastoral / high ranking church member sexual abuse too? When they went for counselling and needed some type of help, they took advantage of them. Are pastors today in it for the money or on kingdom business?

My 24-7 availability thanks to technology, keeps me busy counselling and encouraging folks right here in St. Kitts and also abroad. These are the students in uniforms. Some now work next to you. Some still attend the abuser's church and listen to them preach as they live in fear from day to day that if they talk - then. So. . . they HURT with a smile on the outside but paining deeply within.

When I try to get them to talk out their story so it can help stop future occurences, their responses, male and females are always quite similar. "No one will believe me. They will say I am just trying to bring down the pastor and instead of the pastor being ridiculed, society will tease and bash me forever. So I just prefer to tell you to get it off my chest and just leave it there."

As I write, it continues. My hands are TIED since it's not my personal case I am fearful, because many of them locally and regionally still serve. I know where to go and where to send my children if God gives me any. Do you?

Talk with your children from today. Don't talk to them - TALK  WITH  THEM. There's a big difference! Hear them out. Don't pressure them into talking. Become their best friend. Promise to work with them no matter what they tell you and mean it from the bottom of your heart. I know PERSONALLY. Too many of your kids are afraid to talk to you, so they talk to me instead about EVERYTHING. Do you know what it feels like to be counselling one of your enemy's children simply because they want to talk, but mommy or daddy is too caught up?

You know, since I've started writing, inspiring, bringing encouragement and bringing certain things to light and reaching the world, I don't get certain invitations to preach or speak to the youth anymore. I believe that's why God gave me the vision to open his Internet Church - The Victory Centre - http://www.thevictorycentre.com/ so I cannot be censored anymore and so that God's Word through me, would not just stay in a 50 - 150 member congregation, but rather reach the world in a few minutes.

Probably, just probably, some church councils may try to come together to strip me of my Ordination because no one is suppose to talk out in the 21st century about wrong in and out the church anymore. The days of Noah and Abraham and Moses and Paul and Peter are gone. RIGHT?

Read about my close encounter in a previous Hope Devotional on:  http://hopeisahead.blogspot.com/2012/05/homosexuality-in-church-its-right-in.html

She Was Crying and Crying and Crying

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. (Galatians 6:9  KJV)

When I answered my phone, I immediately asked myself, "What's the problem now?" Tears on my ministry Hope Line are not new, so I immediately prepared my spirit to help.

"Is this Brother Wallace?" the lady asked. I confirmed that it was me and she continued. "Brother, you're doing a great work. Don't get weary. You're reaching the world indeed." I tried to wonder which country the accent was from while I listened.

"You spread the gospel using the technology so easily. I'm not going to ask you how you get it done. That's between you and God. But I just wanted to call and say thank you. I will MAN  UP  too and I won't give up."

I immediately knew that she had either visited one of my websites, or gotten an email or saw the video on facebook, twitter or youtube or another social website around the world that we use. It was just Father's Day 2012, I had delivered that double sermon at The Conaree Wesleyan Holiness Church in St. Kitts (Caribbean).  (View sermon here: http://youtu.be/yUvz2DTTNes )

"Brother, I follow your every move online." She continued. "You see, I have to stay at home because of a condition but you keep me empowered. Your ministry is like the TBN - Trinity Broadcasting Network in the Caribbean. You guys preach, do your own movies, have fun with the children. You do hospital ministry. You hold parties and sunshine corners for the children. You appreciate bus drivers, doctors and other difference makers. What doesn't Dare 2 Be Different Do?"

I smiled, even though I know she couldn't see it and I commented, "We're just happy to be difference makers."

"Congratulations on Dare 2 Be Different's 4th Anniversary. Tell the other team members please. Don't think I didn't see you dancing up a storm with the kids at your Dare 2 Be Different 4th Anniversary Party last Friday. My dear, you'll get there with dancing one day, but what made the difference is that you weren't playing big like many of the ministers of today. You were down to earth with the youth - that's what they need. The involvement of key persons in their lives."

See me dancing here: http://youtu.be/wsxgVTw_ZyU

"I follow you personally on your facebook page https://www.facebook.com/#!/khrystusw and on your ministry's page too https://www.facebook.com/daretobedifferentskn. That's where I get your Hope Messages. I'm not apart of your email list. Whether I am or not, you just know how to get the word out about Christ. You keep your followers encouraged, motivated and inspired on ALL your social network pages and you still creatively market your business.

"I know you know it, but can I quote a scripture for you?  And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. (Galatians 6:9  KJV)"

"You shall reap Brother Khrystus. You shall reap! You just won't reap before toiling hard and suffering much. So just keep on toiling. TOIL  HARD! Every trial and test that you may face, see it as God's way of making you stronger for service."

"If I had enough money to pay off any debts you may have. I give it to you and I would give you enough to build the Dare 2 Be Different Mission Centre that I hear you talking about so much, I would do it. But since I don't have much money at all, all I can give is my prayers and support. I read about your Vision for the mission centre on the internet you know, (http://hopeisahead.blogspot.com/2012/05/st-kitts-nevis-may-probably-be-home-to.html). That is truly a vision from God. I will give you know brother Khrystus, it just won't be alot. But my little cent will count. If all your international readers develop that spirit, The Dare 2 Be Different Mission Centre will be a light thing. "

"But note, whether we do help or not, God will provide the way. You're all over the web. God is going to touch the heart of someone who really can afford it and who sees all that you and your team are doingvery soon, you'll be surprised when you open a particular letter from your mail box. God has you covered."

"Remember Brother Khrystus, when you are not getting the support from those you live around in St. Kitts - Nevis, don't get discouraged. Pastors and Churches and those you think should be supporting you, will stay silent. That's Bible - Mark 6:4 But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house."

"I know what I'm talking about. Before I was homebound, I was active in church. I was involved in everything. The church I attended started visiting me alot in the earlies, but they don't come anymore. I used to pay my offerings and tithes faithfully. I'm useless now, so they don't care. It's sad to say, but that's what many of our churches are doing. I see Dare 2 Be Different has a Hospital ministry and I believe I can put my head on a block, that you guys would not have forgotten me. But I do stay encouraged, especially on your websites http://www.hopeisahead.com/ and http://www.thevictorycentre.com/ "

"I wish my country had a Brother Khrystus too. You do so much for Jesus Christ and still aim to live a personal life. I trust that in you're searching, God will send you a kingdom woman. Remember you're global, so you shouldn't just be looking local, you should be praying and looking global too."

I didn't do much talking during the call, I did more listening and smiling.
"Don't get weary Brother Khrystus. I say to you as you always say to us. DON'T  GIVE  UP.  HOPE  IS  AHEAD! I'm going to church now on Dare 2 Be Different's Internet Church - The Victory Centre - http://www.thevictorycentre.com/ and I'll do what I enjoy doing, sharing all your hope messages and videos with my friends too. Your monitoring network only gives you information on the work that you are doing. It doesn't monitor what others like me are doing to help Dare 2 Be Different spread the gospel all across the world."

"I see you're into printing on http://www.kvkenterprises.com/. I think you should use your God given printing skills and open a Dare 2 Be Different Inspirational Store in as many countries as you can and let young people own this franchise since you love them so much. It will be a great fundraiser for the ministry. It will help youth get employed. The messages on t-shirts, polos, keyrings, bandanas, cups, wall hangings etc will not only motivate and inspire, but spread the message of salvation in the process. Think about it. That's my little 2 cents."

Friend, I get similar calls and emails all the time, more so from people outside my homeland for real. I had to share this one though, it went above and beyond to encourage me. if I ever felt like giving up, I got some well needed motivation to keep me going.

On behalf of my entire team, 24 year old Kerese Dias - Dance Director, 22 year old Joy Codrington - Drama Director, 23 year old Lemercius Wallace, Music Minister and Technical Director, I say to you our worldwide audience, thanks for your support during our 4 years of existence. (June 2008 - 2012). As a small team, we look forward to continuing to make a big difference around the world.

MAN UP - Picture and Video Inside

Friend, you probably missed yesterday's Service at The Conaree Wesleyan Holiness Church, St. Kitts - West Indies (Caribbean). Please forgive me for not being able to carry it live, but I do have a part of the sermon that I want to share with you.

I dropped the jacket and tie for yesterday's service and since I'm a Preacher-Printer, I designed my own shirt with the sermon topic. See it below. (Now everyone wants a shirt - you can order yours too)

I see the Conaree Wesleyan Holiness Church as my second home. When I started preaching at 15 years old in 2002, they were one of the first churches to invite me to preach and who has remained consistant with invitations over the last 10 years. Oh Yes. . . .I forgot to tell you in previous emails that this year I'm celebrating 10 years of preaching the gospel. Please continue to pray for me.

May God Bless the church and leadership at Conaree Wesleyan tremendously. Dare 2 Be Different also takes this time to endorse the work that God is doing there and highly recommends that ministry to our international audience if your ministry wants to visit St. Kitts or needs a ministry to Support. Check Reverend Watts of The Conaree Wesleyan Holiness Church.

By the way, yesterday was the first time that I had to preach a double sermon in one presentation. I had to address the Men and I spoke on the Topic MAN  UP. I also had to address the Youth because it was Youth Sunday and I spoke on the topic - You Are Good At Something.

Anyway, enough said. Watch on Youtube below - Be Blessed and Share this email:
