Helper Of The Helpless

Reverend Khrystus portraying Jesus while on a visit to host General Assembly at The Verchilds High School posing with a teacher

O Lord. . . you are known as the helper of the helpless. (Psalm 10:14 TLB)

Have you ever reached the point in your life when it seems like there is no where else to turn? You would have tried everything seemingly possible to jump over the hurdle, but yet you never got over. It is there and then you turn to Jesus - the helper of the helpless.

We should always turn to God FIRST, but this is usually not the case. We try everyone and everything before turning to him. Probably, that's human nature.

The woman with the issue of blood also tried all other alternatives before trying The Master. The Bible recounts that she spent ALL she had (Luke 8:43) before setting her mind to even touch the hem of Jesus' garment.

She pushes through the crowd until she reaches the HELPER of the helpless. Jesus feels the virtue leave his body and proclaims that the woman's faith made her whole. If we, like this once sick lady develop the faith and determination that the solution to our problems will come from the HELPER of the helpless when we seek him - Oh what a peace we would have as Jesus steps in and takes care.

Depressed? Forsaken? Doubtful? Suicidal? Hurting? Sick? Shocked? Financially Stressed?

There's Hope! Talk with Jesus NOW - He is the HELPER of the helpless.

God Is Doing The Work Himself

29 year old Reverend Khrystus V. K. Wallace, Founder and President of KVK ENTERPRISES -www.kvklives.com,  Dare 2 Be Different International - www.daretobedifferentskn.com and The Blazing Star Movement - www.theblazingstarmovement.com

Jehovah himself is caring for you! He is your defender. He protects you day and night. He keeps you from all evil, and preserves your life. He keeps his eye upon you as you come and go and always guards you. (Psalm 121:5-8 TLB)

As a leader, there are some things I like to do myself. This is so because I believe, for some tasks, it will only be done perfectly, if the person who wants it done, does it them self.

I would have met with several disappointing experiences when I would have delegated tasks and they didn't come out how I wanted them to. This annoyed me and caused me at times to just turn and do it myself.

I believe this is the same reason you usually find someone washing their NEW vehicle themself or a child protecting his/her NEW gift his/herself. We can go on and on and on.

This is so because it shows a great sense of PERSONAL CARE.

This is why the Psalmist writes in 121 about how our GOD is caring for us HIMSELF! Doesn't this get you excited? It certainly gets me overwhelmed and happy. God hasn't employed angels to do his job.

He is defending you HIMSELF! He is protecting you HIMSELF! He is keeping evil from befalling you HIMSELF! He is preserving your life HIMSELF! He has HIS eyes upon you! He is guarding you HIMSELF!

WOW! Don't worry my friend! God is taking care of you HIMSELF! Be encouraged - Live with a new sense of HOPE from today. Everything will be OK!

Don't Start To Stop

29 year old Reverend Khrystus V. K. Wallace, Founder and President of KVK ENTERPRISES -www.kvklives.com,  Dare 2 Be Different International - www.daretobedifferentskn.com and The Blazing Star Movement - www.theblazingstarmovement.com

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Phillipians 3:14 KJV)

Don't stop now! The prize is attainable.

It seems to be a worldwide problem with many persons starting a task, starting a race, starting a challenge and not completing it. A fiction story tells of some marathon runners who had entered a cross country race. The grand prize was $23,000.

$1,000 for each of the twenty three key points they were to pass.

The race began with much energy and enthusiasm and was lasting several days. By day four, the race was just down to about 5 participants. Who would make it? Who would win? Those were the questions of the day? The two runners who were well ahead were finally getting tired and felt ready to give up. They both had come a long way and had decided that they would just stop together and get the recognition together for they were indeed the only two left and the others behind would probably stop soon.

As they discussed, so they did. They did get the recognition. Worldwide media coverage. Gifts and hugs from friends and family. Out of curiosity, one particular News Agency asked the Marathon organizers how far away were they from the prize. The response was, "The $23,000 in cash was just three miles alway. We ensured we placed it there in CASH and had guards watching and waiting to hand it over all along."

The duo watched each other and shook their heads in shock.

There is a lesson for all of us. The prize is attainable, once we keep on running. Trials are bound to come. Challenging situations will show up too. Some large rocks may just suddenly show up in life's road. We may sometimes get tired and feel like giving up too. But, we must remember that none of us should START  TO  STOP.

Paul gave a powerful challenge to us all in Philipians 3:14 when he says to press on to the prize. I believe we can use this in both a spiritual and physical sense.

As Christians, we must remember that no where in the Bible, God promises us a bed full of roses. Throughout the pages of the Bible, many of the simple and great characters there had to face tremendous challenges. Remember Moses? Remember Joseph? Remember Joshua? Remember Jesus himself?

What happened at the end of their run? Their mourning was turned to dancing, and their sackcloth and ashes were cast away and they got the opportunity to put on a spirit of gladness. They attained their prizes. They were victorious. This happened simply because they never STOPPED.

In your life this year, although challenges may come, always remember that once you ask God for help and trust him completely, you will make it, you will get through.

Don't Start to Stop - Hope's Ahead!
