Use your talents and gifts to make a living!
When God sent us to planet earth, he put in our spirit different talents and gifts so that we can use them to survive. He allowed some people to be academically inclined. He allowed some folks to be technically and vocationally inclined. That means they are good with their hands and have special skills such as basket making, t-shirt printing, carpentry, plumbing etc. Then God allowed some people, like me, to be both academically and technically inclined with a multiplicity of skills.
Do not grudge anyone at all for their talents and gifts! Holding a grudge merely slows you up in life and causes you to lose focus on fulfilling YOUR DREAMS because you are too busy looking at others SUCCEED and comparing yourself to them.
Pastor Paul had to deal with the same murmurings and jealousy back in Ephesus. Those in society and in the church were becoming jealous of each other so he had to clear things up when he wrote Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
This shows us all that we all are blessed to do different things in life. While Pastor Paul was just talking about the spiritual realm when he wrote, I want you to consider stirring up the gift inside you from today and stop complaining that government fired you. All politicians put that in your head no matter the side. While politicians do that, they are making their tons of money DAILY while they aim to keep you angry and divided. Stop complaining that the world is against you. No one is against you. It's all in your HEAD. Think good thoughts and good will come to you. Think negative thoughts and negative will come to you.
Face yourself today and THINK. Think hard! Think long! See what talents and gifts you have inside you and start today to use them to make a living in this competitive world and stop grudging and complaining DAILY. It doesn't help. If you are saved and a good speaker or writer, start a gospel ministry, not to make money, but to serve God and he will send people to support you and keep your work going once you're truly doing it from the heart. If you can make coconut fudges, jams, fruit candies, local drinks, craft, etc, start somewhere. Start today to see how you could make and market these items in a creative outside the box way that no one else is using to surge ahead and make a living.
Are you good at typing? Baby sitting? Caring for the elderly? Answering calls? Marketing? All of these skills and talents you can use at home to make a living. I don't want this entry to become one of my business labs workshops that I hold around the world, so let me begin to come to an end now.
I am sure that you got the essence of what I was trying to say though. WE ARE ALL GIFTED IN DIFFERENT WAYS. Let's use ALL of our talents and skills to MAKE MONEY as children of GOD and aim to always succeed and shine in life. Stop the complaining! Get up off your buttocks and WORK!
Our late famed National Hero of St. Kitts and Nevis and First Premier, Sir Robert L. Bradshaw said in one of his famous speeches that I read sometime back that, "MANNA WILL NOT FALL FROM HEAVEN JUST LIKE THAT! You have to work for it!"
