And So Pastor Jesus Came

Matthew 2:1 Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem,

2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.


And so Pastor Jesus came.

Centuries ago, God became very sorry that He had made man. Genesis 6:7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

You see, it was always God's intention for man to live free from work and only play and enjoy life and look after the plants and animals if man chose to be obedient. Man ventured down the path of disobedience and ever since it had always been HURT and SUFFERING for us all because of man's original disobedience. It has always been a battle of good over evil. Man had GODLY rulers - PASTORS in charge and they rebelled and wanted KINGS. Throughout the Old Testament, we read of good kings and bad kings. We read of the sufferings of the people when they had UNGODLY  LEADERSHIP and we read of the peace and joy of the people when they had GODLY leadership. We read of many wars between Godly territories and ungodly territories.

We read of how GODLY territories always prevailed in battles because they depended solely on the hand of God to deliver. Sadly, each year, Pastors would gather their communities and offer unblemished / clean lambs and bulls as sacrifices for the sins of the communities and this became an annual tradition.

God wanted to end TRADITION and introduce spirituality, so he gave Pastors such as Isaiah a vision to preach of a SAVIOR to come named Immanuel. Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

And so Pastor Jesus came.

In the first four books of The New Testament, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, four popular journalists of the day wrote extensively of Pastor Jesus and his Gospel Truth Preaching Ministry. He was the most popular figure in The Middle Eastern region of the day and the High Priests and Leaders hated him and plotted to get the rid of him simply for preaching TRUTH and opening the eyes of the masses. They tried and failed because Pastor Jesus rose again after his crucifixion, but that's another story for Easter 2017.

I am fully aware that the debate exists where folks would suggest that Christmas is a pagan festival and Pastor Jesus really wasn't born around this time. I do agree that he wasn't born around this time. I won't debate that. I would say that it is a FACT that HE  WAS  BORN.

I also do agree that the businesses and governments globally have commercialized Christmas to stir economic activity. Quite sad as the TRUE MEANING of the season continues to gets lost in all the shopping and consumerism.

What we can choose to do though, is not let that bother us. Let us focus solely on spreading LOVE, GRACE, MERCY and FORGIVENESS. If you get a gift for Christmas, GIVE  THANKS. If you don't still GIVE  THANKS. The true meaning is the fact that PASTOR  JESUS  CAME  TO EARTH, sent by his HEAVENLY  FATHER  GOD to redeem mankind, teach them truth, uproot tradition and introduce SPIRITUALITY which is living under the guidance of The Holy Spirit within.

And so Pastor Jesus came.

When People Persecute Christians, God Blesses Them Even More

Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.


When people persecute Christians, God blesses them even more.

While talking to some of my Dare 2 Be Different International youths a few days ago during one of our sessions, they exclaimed that people sometimes bully them and tease them that they are Christians or that they go to church. I was happy to relate to them that fellow students also did that to me since I got saved at age ten and I have made it to age thirty - ALIVE and WELL and BLESSED.

Although bullying and teasing hurts, it won't kill. As Kingdom followers, we are reminded just as the founder of the Christian Faith, Pastor Jesus was teased and persecuted, the very same will happen to true followers of God. People will think that we are weak and take us for granted many times.

John 15:20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

How are we to respond? We should always seek to respond peacefully with LOVE and try to settle disputes amicably and use the LAW as a last resort. That's what Pastor Jesus would have done. In dealing with many matters, Pastor Jesus showed LOVE, LOVE, LOVE. But in dealing with others, he got RADICAL.

Matthew 21:12  And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves, 13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

This shows us that although we should aim to always be on the CALM side, there are times when we should stand up for our RIGHTS and not be walked over all the time. When we pray and know when to move, GOD  IS  GOING  TO  BLESS  OUR  EFFORTS  WITH  SUCCESS and BLESSINGS.

God Is A Jealous God

Nahum 1:2 God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.

God is a jealous God!

When you have a girlfriend or boyfriend, husband or wife, you want that partner for yourself. Am I wrong or right? No one likes to share LOVERS. Whenever there is cheating or suspected cheating or disloyalty from a party in a relationship, this usually stirs much anger and sometimes even leads to arguments and fights. People prefer loyalty.

God isn't any different. When He allowed us an opportunity to live on planet earth, His main intention was for us to acknowledge Him as Lord and Saviour of our lives even though He gave us CHOICE. Sadly, too many of us are downright ungrateful. We forget and neglect to give God thanks for the many mercies that he bestows on us daily. The fact that we can see and hear. The fact that we can walk and talk. The fact that we have a roof over our head and clothes and shoes to wear. The fact that we have something to eat and a little money to function. Sadly, many forget all of this and never recognize the importance of loyalty and service to God.

Pastor Nahum had a burden that Ninevah return to God when he wrote Nahum 1:2 God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.

He preached the truth! People then and people today don't like when people preach the truth. Pastor Nahum told his audience forthright that God wants their LOYALTY. He is jealous and will pour down his wrath and anger if they don't give Him their loyalty. Pastor Nahum warned that God always deals with and severely punishes those that are against him.

God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He was a jealous God yesterday and He is still a jealous God today. God wants our service and loyalty or he will never allow us to be at peace. Why not put your trust in Him today. God loves you!

There is HOPE for you!

God Is Going To Deliver You - BIGTIME

Exodus 14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever

God is going to deliver you big time.

One of the packages that each one of us get when we are born, is the package of life problems and stresses. The moment Adam and Eve disobeyed God, sin entered the world and has affected us since then. We all have varying problems. From family issues to problems on the job. From financial issues to church problems. From medical issues to folks bullying us. I can go on and on and on but I'm sure by now you get the point.

Please don't lose hope though, God is going to deliver you BIG TIME and put all your HATERS to shock and to shame. He has done it over and over and over again in my life. God has delivered me before and continues to deliver me all the time.

Moses and the children of Israel faced much opposition from the rulers of the day - the Egyptians. They were in constant fear for their lives as they sought desperately to leave oppression. As they were marching along to better days, Pharoah's heart was hardened and he sent his army to PURSUE and OVERTAKE.

The children of Israel cried out unto God for help and started blaming Pastor Moses. Exodus 14:11 And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?

Pastor Moses, the greatest pastor of the old testament isn't fearful at all. He was a man of 101% faith that His God always delivered. He knew that God would get the glory and the honour in the end. Exodus 14:4 And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the LORD. And they did so.

Time won't permit me to go on sharing the entire story but to cut it short - GOD  DELIVERED  HIS  PEOPLE  AND  SUFFERED  AND  KILLED those who were opposing them. Watch what you say about God's people behind their backs and ALWAYS watch what you plan to do to them or do to them. It will TURN  BACK  AROUND  TO  HAUNT  YOU.

Therefore, Pastor Moses' words were true: Exodus 14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever

Friend, fear not! Only continue to PRAY and keep the faith! God is going to deliver you BIG TIME.

Hope is definitely ahead!

God loves all!

The big problem with the church over many centuries is that it has written off and condemned many individuals for their choice of life instead of LOVE  THEM and PRAY  FOR  THEM. That's how change would eventually come someday to individuals.

Honestly, I wish that everyone in the world would be as dedicated to serving GOD as I am, but that isn't the case. Should I not hug a St. Kitts and Nevis Soca Artiste named Shanna Raymond around her waist like I do with others because I may not fully endorse all of her lyrics? Should I not print her new clothing line at KVK  ENTERPRISES - www.kvklives.com because she isn't pushing her ENERGY in the same direction that I'm pushing my energy?

How foolhardy and ungodly!

Our father above GOD is certainly not like that! He respects and looks after EVERYONE and gives us a CHOICE to follow Him or not. Matthew 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

True God followers should be imitating the almighty by LOVING  ALL despite of their differences, way of life and beliefs. I can LOVE you as a person but not fully support all of your doings and thinking. That's how we should all endeavour to live.

God loves all! One day, Shanna will start singing for JESUS. I know that! It may be next year or several years from now. The first step to inspiring people to CHANGE is to LOVE  THEM WHOLEHEARTEDLY.

God loves all and there is definitely HOPE  FOR  ALL.
