The Children of God have a SPECIAL POWER. We must NEVER be afraid to USE IT!
I believe one of the main things that is keep us back in life as children of God is that we are not UNIFIED. For example, when a Prime Minister or President publicly goes against God's word and throws his support behind gays and same sex marriage, only a few Christians speak out. The others stay relaxed and say nothing. They may only probably feel stunned and embarrassed when their son brings home a boyfriend and their daughter brings home a girlfriend. You see, they never expected it to happen to them.
When high ranking individuals across the world give the guns to the youth to run their drug businesses while they serve in goverment and customs and police departments and churches, we only SPEAK OUT when someone close to us is shot dead. Until then, we, God's people remain quiet.
You get where I'm coming from RIGHT?
We do have the power to respond! We must use it! When politicians go against God's standards outlined in His authoratative word to play political games, we must speak out with both ourMOUTHS and VOTES and show them that RESPECT FOR GOD is still of UTMOST importance.
America removed God from schools and is now suffering with the repercussions. I think many schools in the Caribbean have done it too except Christian based ones. We only keep morning devotions. Why isn't Religious Education presented to students as a CXC High School Final Exam too? If we can teach them for three years about Biology and Chemistry and Spanish. Why can't they get three years of Religious Education - teaching about God. I believe that will help make an impact on our youth. Teachings about JESUS have always brought about CHANGE.
Even before I founded Dare 2 Be Different Int'l, I was only eighteen years when I had a deep desire to fight to get it back in schools. So I launched an online petition titled: RE-INTRODUCE RELIGIOUS EDUCATION IN OUR PUBLIC SCHOOLS. I was lamblasted by people all across the world when I posted it and others promised to support once Religious Education would make rooms for the teachings of Rastafarianism and Muslim etc.
Certainly NOT. . . so I lost their global support. That's OK.
I encouraged those in support to sign it online at http://www.gopetition.com/petitions/re-introduce-religious-education-in-our-public-schools.html and as I travelled and preached, I got hundreds of people to sign it and I have hundreds of signatures to date that I am finalizing to present to the Ministry of Education along with Dare 2 Be Different's proposal.
We are proud to be a ministry that doesn't just TALK - WE ACT OPENLY TOO.
We do have the power to enact change. We must develop the spirit of being SILENT NO MORE. That was the type of spirit the Apostle Paul had and Peter too. They told it as it was. They were FEARLESS!
With regards to medicine. Doctors that don't acknowledge God as the only supreme being that can help them while they deal with us, should never get the money of God's people. How can you be going to a devil for help? Ask them about their faith. We have the power to make them RICH or to keep them Poor.
When government presents policies and idealogies that go against God's word, we must become agitated. We must SOUND OUR TRUMPET and not be fearful or intimidated because we are employed by a ruling government around the world or get special incentives.
That happened in Bible times. When Kings weren't doing right, God's prophets and messengers didn't fear to go and stand before them and tell them that what they were doing was wrong and they will soon fall from power.
Once anything done doesn't line up with God's word. Then we must ACT WORLDWIDE. We cannot afford to stand on the sidelines in our countries around the world and be SILENT. God's people have POWER.
People of God, society doesn't understand the power we have. Neither do ungodly governments and secular businesses. Imagine if we were to speak up and actively SOUND OUR TRUMPETS. Churches would order their own food and necessities in containers for their members and we won't put our money into the stores and into the economy. What if churches join together and do that?
If governments don't listen, we have the power as God's people to pull all our monies out of the banks, unstabalize our country's economies until they listen to us and obey God's word. They NEED the $10 and the $100,000 that we have in order to function properly. Don't you know that? If we move it ALL OUR MONIES TOGETHER, Regulators will try to intervene and stop us, but the end result is, they have no choice to give us, if we are not getting what we want. That is God's principles OBEYED and FOLLOWED.
We have the POWER to start our own cooperatives and keep the money circulating ONLY among God's people. We have wise christian bankers and investors and business people and lawyers and doctors etc. We have the power. We do have it!
If they REFUSE to listen to God's word. We would take to the streets around the world and have public town hall meetings to empower christians on what to do and our way FORWARD. God's People have the power. We can leave their cars and furniture in their showrooms for them to ROT and only buy from Christian-Owned businesses and Christian owned businesses will bank in our Christian owned cooperatives and our Christian owned cooperatives will give loans to God's people.
Banks will lose their portfolios and come crashing down UNLESS. . . GOD's word is obeyed to its fullest extent.
We have the power to agitate and enact change and force governments and the world to obey God's word or ELSE. The thing about it is, that many are fearful that I came out so boldly in this devotional and still refuse to join the fight to SAVE OUR WORLD from the SINFUL ideologies that are being implimented before our very eyes.
Unity is strength and Hope is Ahead once we COME TOGETHER. ONCE WE UNIFY.
We've all made some silly decisions and mistakes in our life as God's people because of our sinful nature and we have to bear the consequences. Never let our mistakes silence us. Let our trials and experiences be our mouth piece to encourage other Christians to not back down or give up because of their temporary trial or situation. When we keep going as God's People, it will encourage others to keep going. If we give up, others will do like wise.
It is time for God's People to be TREND SETTERS AGAIN - Like Moses. Like Joshua. Like Caleb. Like Paul. Like David. These were bold fearless men who dared to go all the way for Jesus.
Remember, Paul had a past. A past of crucifying God's People. He repented and never let his past keep him back. He still did the work for the master. RIGHT?
I have never used so many scripture verses in one devotional at all, but I had to use them here for emphasis and drive home a particular point. God's People Have POWER!
Sound it from the microphones LOUD and CLEAR - When society and leaders go against God's word. God's Authoratative Word, we would never stop preaching and talking out like NOAH until THERE IS A CHANGE. God's People have the POWER and leaders and society MUST LEARN TO RESPECT THAT.
Let God's People Arise Worldwide - the scriptures above clearly PROVE that We Have The Power to accomplish EVERYTHING that falls into God's will for our lives and our societies. Don't relax - AGITATE when you have to. Talk out when you have to. That's why God called us. God wants us to make an impact. From today - let us begin to take our rightful positions in society, as in Bible Times. Let the world know that we serve a BIG GOD who is ever present and active. Let God's People AGITATE!
