Ge 37:5 And Joseph dreamed a dream, and he told it his brethren: and they hated him yet the more.
Ge 39:1 And Joseph was brought down to Egypt; and Potiphar, an officer of Pharaoh, captain of the guard, an Egyptian, bought him of the hands of the Ishmeelites, which had brought him down thither.
Ge 39:2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.
Ge 39:4 And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.
Feelings of Hatred, Dishonour, Loneliness can still yield success, prosperity and wealth once you stay hopeful.
Have you ever paused to imagine the pain and agony that little Joseph must have felt as his brothers acts of hatred were being carried out? What did Joseph do to be thrown in a hole, sold as a slave and thrown into prison?
The answer - He simply DREAMED! It is a good thing to dream. It is also a good thing to pursue your dreams and not lose HOPE. May I remind you from the onset, if you are a DREAMER, this is a very, very, very serious thing.
Why? Simply because you will be hated for being a dreamer. From those far from you, from those close to you - even your OWN FAMILY. You will be negatively talked about. People won't understand you or your doings. You will make mistakes. You will fall and rise many times. If you are to see your dreams come to pass, you must develop a patient, humble yet determined spirit like Joseph.
Many of the great inventors and success stories in life passed through similar phases, but they never lost HOPE - they never gave up.
Joseph could have fallen into a state of deep depression and died from high blood pressure when he thought about what had become of him. He simply refused to! Even when thrown into the hole - HE REMAINED HOPEFUL. Even when sold as a slave - HE REMAINED HOPEFUL. Even when thrown into prison after wrongful accusation from Potiphar's wife - HE REMAINED HOPEFUL. During all of these years of hatred and challenges Genesis 39:2 says . . .the LORD was with Joseph.
Friend, the Lord is with you too - REMAIN HOPEFUL. There is a portion of the story I like the best, Ge 39:2 And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a PROSPEROUS MAN; and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian.Ge 39:4 And Joseph found grace in his sight, and he served him: and he made him overseer over his house, and all that he had he put into his hand.
After all of the pain and long suffering, the Bible tells us that Joseph became a PROSPEROUS MAN and moved from the prison cell to the HOUSE of his MASTER - THE PALACE.
What a story - from the Prison to the Palace. From a little shepherd boy to RULER. History tells us that the same brothers who hated him had to turn to him for help. LOOK WHAT THE LORD CAN DO.
In your situation, you may be feeling alone, depressed and burdened over your dreams and aspirations not coming to pass as yet. Don't be - just remain HOPEFUL and remember Joseph. You too will rise. You too will move from your trying situation to one full of success!
Focus on the POSITIVE - Never dwell on the negative!
There's nothing wrong with feeling like Joseph once you take on the ENTIRE EXPERIENCE. Love the Lord, Run the Race, NEVER LOSE HOPE and lookout for your breakthrough.
