Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
RE-FOCUS!
Unless you CHANGE your thinking and the usual way that you doing things in your life, YOU WILL NOT PROGRESS ONWARD AND FORWARD! YOU WILL CONTINUE TO REMAIN DORMANT AND STAGNANT AND CONTINUE LURKING AROUND IN THE BOX THAT YOU OR OTHERS HAVE PUT YOU IN and probably continue to live a big lie. This is the cold truth is and you very well know it. You smile on the outside to PRETEND that all is well, but you honestly know that you are living in a state of DEEP DEPRESSION and you are a WALKING TIME BOMB!
Your partner continues to PLAY you and you're holding on to give an impression. You husband or wife is committing ADULTERY and you are living in denial. Your child is on drugs and you are a preacher, a banker, a tip top government official or police officer. You are addicted to porn and can't stop masturbating as a professing Christian. You are in serious financial problems and we can go on. YOU ARE LIVING IN DENIAL!
From the very onset of this devotional, permit me to inform you if you do not know or remind you if you already know, that The Bible, God's authoritative word is the most powerful guide book that was ever written despite what its haters and critics say.
The Apostle Paul, one of the most brilliant leaders in the New Testament admonished his followers at ROME to make a desperate effort to be DIFFERENT FROM THE CROWD. He encouraged them to CHANGE their thinking - TRANSFORM and RENEW their minds.
This suggests, to me, that he was encouraging them, like Nehemiah had to do, to look, to ask, to fast, to pray for the current world and situation. Nehemiah 1:2 That Hanani, one of my brethren, came, he and certain men of Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews that had escaped, which were left of the captivity, and concerning Jerusalem.
ARE YOU LIVING IN CAPTIVITY TOO?
Having done that, I do believe The Apostle Paul then wanted them to not just take what everyone was saying WHOLESALE, but having looked, asked, fasted, prayed, they must get UP AND WORK - seek to live their lives doing what is GOOD and ACCEPTABLE and PERFECT in the will of God.
Let us now look at the term, Be Not Conformed To The World.
From growing up, I honestly feel that many preachers have constantly used this term in the wrong way and to also bring division amongst people in general.
From the time one "SUPPOSEDLY" says the sinners prayer, they are immediately known as a CHRISTIAN and it is suggested that they are NO LONGER APART OF THE WORLD when many times they didn't even understand what they prayed, or are even guided spiritually. Many times, later on in their life, THEY CONFESS THAT THEY WERE FORCED OR SCARED INTO GOING TO THE ALTAR to say such a "SINNER'S PRAYER." Are you one?
Sadly, this is where the church - UNIVERSAL, many times has gone WRONG. You are NEVER to force anyone into a relationship with GOD. Let the spirit deal with people even if it takes days, weeks, months, years. That should be their choice!
Let me open your mind a bit more! God condemns IDOLATRY and TRADITION. Conforming to the world also suggests that one should not be following those who have made such things as clothes, shoes, electronics, mobile phones, facebook and social media accounts, their business or even their ministry, money etc - their IDOLS.
I want to therefore suggest here and now that since this is so, MANY PERSONS WHO PROFESS CHRISTIANITY, even preach on the pulpits, sing in the choir and dance with the dance groups and claim to fall out in the spirit, DO NOT REALLY PERSONALLY KNOW GOD - KNOW RIGHTEOUSNESS AND UNDERSTAND SPIRITUALITY! THEY ARE DEEPLY ENTANGLED IN RELIGION and will sooner or later SPLIT HELL WIDE OPEN if they DO NOT RE-FOCUS and get into a real and covenant relationship with GOD and not their RELIGION.
When they are JUDGING who they SUPPOSEDLY call non-christians for not saying "THE SINNER'S PRAYER," they are deeply caught up in IDOLATRY AND THEY ARE THE ONES THAT ARE HONESTLY CONFORMED TO THE WORLD.
Matthew 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.
I like to be REAL! You my global audiences, reading this devotional in the 50+ languages that it has been translated into and disseminated worldwide, KNOW THAT!
I don't spend too much time talking with or hanging with folks who ARE NOT REAL! They keep their faces STRAIGHT and give a LYING PERCEPTION that they are SAVED and IN THE HOLIEST OF THE HOLY, when many times they don't even personally know THE ONE TRUE AND LIVING GOD.
I honestly don't want to make this another thesis paper in an effort to get a P.hD, but I must share with you the thinking of a humble Biblical Commentary writer - Barnes:
Be ye transformed. The word from which the expression here is derived means form, habit, (morfh). The direction is, "put on another form, change the form of the world for that of Christianity." This word would properly refer to the external appearance, but the expression which the apostle immediately uses, "renewing of the mind," shows that he did not intend to use it with reference to that only, but to the change of the WHOLE MAN. The meaning is, do not cherish a spirit devoid to the world, following its vain fashions and pleasures, but cultivate a spirit attached to God, and his kingdom and cause.
By the renewing. By the making new; the changing into new views and feelings. The Christian is often represented as a new creature, 2 Corinthians 5:17; Galatians 6:15; Ephesians 4:24; 1 Peter 2:2.
Your mind. The word translated mind properly denotes intellect, as distinguished from the will and affections. But here it seems to be used as applicable to the whole spirit as distinguished from the body, including the understanding, will, and affections. As if he had said, let not this change appertain to the body only, BUT TO THE SOUL - THE SPIRIT. Let it not be a mere external conformity, but let it have its seat in the spirit. All external changes, if the mind was not changed, would be useless, or would be hypocrisy. Christianity seeks to reign in the soul; and having its seat there, the external conduct and habits will be regulated accordingly.
In closing, God has blessed me with a divine wisdom. From the time Sister Adelaide Stanley from The Antioch Baptist Church in St. Kitts, taught me as a little boy about age 6 - 8 about how Solomon prayed for WISDOM instead of wealth and because he did that, God blessed him with BOTH WISDOM AND WEALTH, that became my prayer from then till now. Many mornings, I still pray to God for WISDOM and sometimes if I do so openly, at the end of my prayer, those around me would condemn me and say, "Khrystus, what more wisdom you want?"

They are REAL! They talk real! They don't live a lie! I love talking with and helping that kind! Those TRAPPED IN RELIGION AND SUBCONSCIOUS IDOLATRY need a personal miracle from GOD for them to change and avoid splitting hell wide open.
I have found that many who PROFESS CHRISTIANITY - lack any type of personal connection with GOD. They are more idolized and focused on their skirt being down to their ankles, having a hat on their head, attending church on a Saturday or Sunday, not eating pork, talking in tongues, helping around the church, paying offering and tithes and so forth WHEN THE ARE FAR FROM GOD and need to really come into a REAL AND COVENANT RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM!
Can I be real with you?
