And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. ( Luke 2:10 KJV)
How do you react when you get good news?
We all act differently at the sound of good news. Some of us laugh or cry. Some jump up and down. Some scream. How ever we act though, that is our personal way of expressing our joy and excitement.
There is one expression of joy that has been etched in my mind. It is that of a sister in the Lord who happened to receive some good news while she was at church. This 'not too thin' lady ran up and down the isle as fast as she could screaming and praising God. She slipped on the rug and got back up again and continued running and shouting and praising God.
Her testimony after explained why she had to act that way. It was indeed testament that her deliverance MUST have been God. There is one thing that stood out as she shared. It was her faith and hope in God that pulled in her breakthrough.
Good news comes in all shapes and forms and packages. That's just how God moves at times. Good news would come from people you've never met and sometimes people you least expect.
God sent the good news of his Son's birth to the shepherds through an angel. Having received this news, they were all astonished and amazed.
This same astonishment and amazement will soon be falling on you as you keep your faith and hope high that God is going to work out EVERY matter.
Good News is heading your way! Stay Optimistic, it'll soon be knocking. Hope is definitely ahead!
