Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
This is your year for a turn around!
In my Dare 2 Be Different International Audio Whatsapp Devotional for today, which is disseminated all around the world, almost daily, I reminded our global following of the importance of sharing, giving and helping others this year as it will result in a return of blessings in abundance.

In this morning's devotional, I reminded my following that although each believer has a responsibility to support his / her local gospel fellowship, it is also important to independently help those in need in some little or big way.
The passage under review, "Luke 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again," is oft times only used by pastors and preachers when they want to raise a special offering for a cause. This should not be so all. Spiritual leaders should teach their following that 'THE GIVING," and "RETURNS," also applies to HELPING OTHERS in a personal and individual way.
You may say to me, "Preacher, times are HARD. I have no money to give away at all. I have bills to pay and children to feed." Can I open your minds again today? GIVING does not have to be MONETARY alone. It is sad that many pastors and preachers globally promote this. In Bible times, the giving was barely in the forms of money. People gave from their fruits, their vegetables, their sheep, their goats, their fishes, their building skills, their sewing skills, their education etc. Therefore, both you and I can do that too in this 21st century.
This year, at times, when you cook a pot, please remember someone who can't afford it. When you do, GOD WILL BLESS YOU TREMENDOUSLY. This year, when you go to the grocery at times, take a peanut butter from the shelf, add it to your basket and deliver it to a family in need. This year, if you are a business owner, do something for someone for FREE. Don't charge them. If you can afford it, do it for more than one person. That is ONE way you can give without tangibly releasing MONEY. Ask God for a spirit of discernment and help and bless someone who comes to your business and you will be totally amazed at the blessing and success and turn around in your business this year.
This is your year for a turn around, but it comes under a condition. A Biblical condition. GIVE! GIVE! GIVE! Find a gospel ministry somewhere around the world that you can see is doing GOOD FOR OTHERS and choose to support that ministry monthly for this entire year and watch God do wonders in your life. Nothing is too small or too big to give to the service of God. If it is $1 dollar. Give it. If it is $5 dollars, give it. If it is $100 dollars. Give it. If you can afford $1000, give it monthly.
Listen to the Man of God and be obedient if you want a TURN AROUND THIS YEAR. Note well, I am not saying that you should give to MY MINISTRY ALONE. Use your spirit of discernment and help a gospel ministry somewhere around the world and if you do not support your local church, THIS YEAR IS YOUR YEAR TO START!
I'm not asking you to do what I don't do. I'm asking you to try the strategies that I've used all my life that has caused God to continue to bless me, my business and my ministry over the years.
In closing, Burkitt in his commentary on Luke 6:38 says, "Learn hence, that charities done in faith, in obedience to God, and with an eye to the glory of God, will produce a certain and plentiful increase. Liberality is the way to riches; giving is the best and surest way of thriving. A little charity from us, if we have but a little, is looked upon by God as a great deal. But it is the greatest imprudence as well as impiety, to do but a little when we have the ability to do much; for he that sows bountifully shall reap bountifully: good measure, pressed down, and running over."
This is our year for a turn around once we agree to stop being greedy and selfish and choose to GIVE and HELP OTHERS. Be obedient to the Word of God and watch God do wonders in your life and the life of your loved-ones.
Stay blessed! Don't give up! Hope is definitely ahead for you in 2016.
