Dust Off And Get Back Up

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.  (Acts 2:41 KJV)

The ONLY PERFECT person to ever walk the face of planet earth was Jesus Christ.

Thus, after such a factual statement, I think it is very safe to say that we all sin at times. It is not right, and I am not saying that it is OK, but it is also a FACT. We sin in thought, in word and in deed. While I do not wish to classify sins into small and large because sin is sin," there are times when persons make some very serious mistakes by allowing their sinful nature to take preeminence.

Many of those people then become bottled up, to themselves and feel like they are a failure. Do you understand what I'm talking about? Probably as you read this now, you feel that you fall right into that bracket.

I want you to change that negative mindset from today. No matter what you've done or how you regret what you've done, there is still HOPE. God isn't like MAN - he forgives, forgets and moves on. While browsing the internet a few days ago, I came across an interesting thought that I posted on Dare 2 Be Different's facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/daretobedifferentskn), and I had to share it with you. It said,

Do something right, no one remembers. Do something wrong, no one forgets.(UNKNOWN)

Why did I interject that thought right there? You probably ask. I have, simply because we live in a society - a world where many persons simply AIM to keep you down when you make a mistake. They talk bad about you behind your back and call you down in front your face. By the way they treat you, it would seem like you are the only person who ever made a mistake - RIGHT?

Many persons in the Bible sinned. They made mistakes. What I like though about many of them, is that they repented, they said sorry to God. Having done that, they DUSTED OFF and GOT  BACK  UP  AGAIN.

Remember Peter? He was like Jesus' right hand man when he walked the earth. As Jesus suffered on the way to the cross, Peter was being identified as someone who was with CHRIST. I believe not wanting to suffer like that and probably soar afraid, he lied and denied Christ three times. On the last, he cursed to make an impression that he wasn't with Jesus. He had sinned!

This very same PETER, was able to repent though and DUST  OFF  AND  GET  BACK  UP. We are told that it was this same PETER who had sinned and repented, was able to preach a WORD on the day of Pentecost and cause some three thousand people to change their lives.

Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.  (Acts 2:41 KJV)

So too friend, no matter what you have done in your life, once you repent and ask God to forgive you, you can still be a DIFFERENCE  MAKER. You can still make a BIG  IMPACT. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

Dust Off And Get Back Up - HOPE  IS  AHEAD!
