Top Class Service (Inspired by Rumours Bar - Newcastle - Nevis)

Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me. (Isaiah 6:8  KJV)

We should always give TOP  CLASS  SERVICE when it comes to The Master's Work!

Last weekend, a US Based Dare 2 Be Different Ministry supporter who has become a good friend since following our ministry online at www.daretobedifferentskn.com  and http://www.hopeisahead.com/, flew into Nevis - West Indies. The sister island to St. Kitts. The gentleman was a bit hungry after his flight, and since I don't know that much about Nevis and Eating, I was happy when we were recommended to visit Rumours Bar in Newcastle, Nevis.

I had already eaten before I came from St. Kitts to Nevis, so I wasn't that hungry. I ordered a simple bowl of our local delicacy - Goatwater. Our ministry friend ordered a chicken dinner with some extras here and there.

While waiting, talking and joking now and again, a strange man showed up at our table and greeted us. We later learned it was the manager himself, giving us a warm welcome and thanking us for choosing his Bar. I was honestly, honestly, honestly proud of my Native Land. The gentleman felt taken-back and appreciated. He was WOWED!

Over my 25 years of living, I only saw that happen about two times. Once while at a restaurant in Brazil and the other in the USA. Rumours Bar was giving international service! CHEERS!

The waitress served us some beverages while we waited for the meals and kept coming back to see if we were ok. I was shocked when an offer was thrown out to charge our phones. God knew my battery was RED and so I quickly handed it over. I was WOWED again!

Even before we received the meals, I heard our ministry friend say, "The service is good!" It was actually the first time he was visiting any other Caribbean Island other than Grenada. When we received our dinner, the evening continued on quite well. The talk was great, the idea sharing and ministry recommendations he gave were quite acceptable. While we ate, the conversation was constantly interrupted with these words, "Maaaan - This stuff is great! The food is nice." Not exaggerating, I actually started counting how many times he interjected with that statement. I also wished I had ordered a chicken dinner just to see what was so great about the meal.

He then said, "Please excuse me." He put down his folk and knife and held the chicken leg in his hand and properly processed it with his teeth. Again - "Maaaan - This stuff is great! The food is nice." He looked around and said, "What's the name of this place? I'm definitely coming back to Nevis and I'm bringing my wife."

I was proud that we were recommended to try RUMOURS BAR in NEVIS. You see friend, I only had less than 24 hours to make an impact and impression of our twin island Federation and show that our people here are well prepared to CARE for and minister through our Dare 2 Be Different International Mission Centre.

Rumours Bar was the first contact point and the TOP  CLASS  SERVICE  given there set the tone for our friend's visit. I was proud of this Small Business!

By the time we were wrapping up of visit some hours after, the gentleman started asking me some questions that didn't pertain to ministry anymore.

"What does it cost approximately to build a simple home here in Nevis?"
"How can I get some land?"
"Do they let foreigners come in to dwell?"
"I wonder if it'll be OK to tell a few of my friends about this place so they can build too"

You see friend, it's not only the Government's Tourism website and paid advertisers market our little St. Kitts & Nevis. The TOP  CLASS  SERVICE that we should ALWAYS give helps to do it too.

Cheers to Rumours Bar!

Friend, many times we gie TOP  CLASS  SERVICE on our jobs, at our homes and else where. Think about this question seriously? Do You Give Top Class Service when it comes to God's Work? Are you positive of that? Can Jesus ask you to work on his field and will your response be like that in Isaiah. Here am I; send me. (Isaiah 6:8  KJV)

How are you actively helping to spread the message of hope, salvation and encouragement?

When last have you taken some time out of your busy schedule to visit a sick and shut-in or an elderly home or the hospital?

When last have you told somebody about Jesus? Or talked about how he can make a difference in their life on facebook or twitter or through a BlackBerry Message?

When last have you even cared? Fed the hungry? Clothe the homeless? Give an encouraging word to someone who is hurting? We are all talented in different ways and the choice is ours as to how we make our IMPACT and GIVE  TOP  CLASS  SERVICE using our GOD-GIVEN gifts and abilities..

Please Do Something - Please join Dare 2 Be Different by making an impact. God Requires of Us - TOP  CLASS  SERVICE!

So. . . .if you are going to rush a visit to the hospital. Don't Go! If you are not going to share out a meal while you're sharing out for your family, don't give anyone the left overs! When someone shares their heart and problems with you, if you know that all you'll do it take their business to the streets and 'play' like you're with them - don't let ANYONE  talk to you about such matters.

Just do good! Matthew 25:45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.

Show that there is HOPE  AHEAD - GIVE  TOP  CLASS  SERVICE!

Be On The Look Out (Someone Sent Me Proof of a group negatively blasting me - Listen/Read)

Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams. (Genesis 37:20 KJV)

C'mon - you don't expect me to post the clip here now - do you?

Nothing really shocks me or surprises me that much about technology anymore. You really don't have to tell me how good or bad it can be. I'm a tech-fanatic. I read and research on nearly every possible way of using this tool to market, communicate, dessiminate information and stay connected. I'm a marketing lunatic - I really didn't get it from studying Marketing - I tell people it's God-Given.

From the Blackberry to the Iphone and other types of smartphones. From Facebook to Twitter and other social networks. From the Ipad to the Playbook and we can go on and on. We can use them all to either buildup or pull down. Freedom of speech right?

Quite recently, I listened quite intently to a voice note that was sent to me. It was quite interesting. It was quite a lengthy conversation between a group that was spending their precious time talking about my endeavours and trying - TRYING to tear my name apart. They could have been occupied helping or building up - RIGHT?

The interesting part about it, is that because we always say a good hello and relate at times, I honestly didn't expect it. I smiled and uttered one of my favorite phrases - "People eh."

To this date, I don't feel anyway and do not hold it against them or anyone. This wasn't my first experience. I've had people send me type-written conversations and other voice notes to prove to me how bad persons who claim they are my friends or associates or christian brothers and sisters are talking about me. Sometimes my phone rings and I quickly notice that I'm the third person in the conversation. It's usually someone giving me some proof of the realities of life - the proof that those who we think are for us, are sometimes really - totally against us.

At 25 years old, I know of many personal cases. So many that I've had to quickly learn how to always forgive. If I hold those stresses in my heart, I'll turn grey and bald much quicker. I am oft times encouraged to approach the people and "TELL  THEM  WHAT  I  HAVE  TO  SAY." Personally, since I don't keep it on my chest, I don't. I smile with them still. I say hello with them still. I process their orders and send quotations still. I greet them well at church still. I do my good to them still. SO  SHOULD  YOU!

When they can't take it, they'll stop talking to you for no apparent reason and expose themselves. Try it and see. When you know people are saying bad about you, treat them even BETTER. Heap up the coals on their heads. Romans 12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head.

While I do my GOOD. . . . .I'm always on the LOOK  OUT - I  ALWAYS  BRACE  MYSELF - So Should You!

The Bible already says in James 3:8, But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Since that is what it says, we shouldn't be shocked when people are talking negative things about us. We should just learn how to deal with them respectfully still and be on the lookout.

People who say bad things and think bad things about you have a strong enough MINDSET to kill you. BE  VERY  CAREFUL  WITH  WHO  YOU  TRUST  WHOLEHEARTEDLY! Sometimes it's best to be very quiet with your dreams too. . . . Do you remember Joseph's case in Genesis 37:20?

After my recent reminder experience again, I may just have to change my style of writing these HOPE  DEVOTIONALS and not include too many of my dreams before I end up like Joseph. Friend, I've chosen to travel this route tonight, as I write, because I don't want you to end up HURT.

Best Friends can become your worst enemies. Good bosses can suddenly turn bad on you. Jealousy and Envy Ruins Relationships.

Some people are for you. Some people hate every bone in your body and every piece of matter in your intestines. Note Well: They will smile with you still and 'PLAY' like they are for you. Be very careful!  The Bible warns and teaches in Matthew 10:16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.

Be wise - keep your eyes opened - Be on The Lookout! Remember it was Joseph's BROTHERS I say - JOSEPH'S  BROTHERS who said - let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams. (Genesis 37:20 KJV)

HIS  BROTHERS! What makes you feel like your neighbour, or work colleague or supervisor or manager or schoolmate or pastor likes your guts? What makes you think that, sometimes your VERY  FAMILY are for you?

The Bible warns us that the enemy is constantly doing all in his power to destroy, so we must be on the lookout. 1 Peter 5:8 ¶ Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour.

Let's be very - very - very careful with our tongues and with technology. Ensure that what you say behind someone's back, you are able to say infront their face. Let's work to build up - not pull down. Let's use the technology to promote not create disunity.

Dare 2 Be Different Int'l begs of you. I honestly know it will take time to create a positive, optimistic society that cares. Thus, while you live - Be on the Look Out!

I still believe that - HOPE  IS  AHEAD.

Don't ever sit around and listen to people talk badly about someone when you know differently. If you do not say anything, you are just like them! Sometimes it takes just ONE PERSON to speak out. It may not be the POPULAR thing to do, but IT  IS  THE  RIGHT  THING  TO  DO, even if you stand alone!

Cover Me - I'm Going In (Youth Delivered After Selling Soul to Devil)

And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; (1 Peter 3:13-14 KJV)

I think I'm prepared to suffer for Christ just to help save ONE soul - just to impact ONE soul - just to help to make the difference in ONE life.

Quite recently, I've been getting emails, calls, texts from different persons all across the world as to why they weren't getting Dare 2 Be Different's Hope Devotionals via their emails. This little email message was the most recent, received just a few minutes ago.

SUBJECT:  Re: Are you sick??
Hi, you do not know me personally but I always enjoyed those little emails you would send from dare2bedifferent but I haven't recieved one in a long while so am just wondering if you are okay.

Sent from my iPhone

You see friend, I constantly pray that God will provide the financing to help us blast emails to every continent of the world at the same time. I know he will someday. Until then, we have to budget who recieve emails at particular times.

May I publicly say thanks to those of you who support the Lord's work by giving on our websites, buying a HOPE T-shirt in Your Language, requesting an audio sermon or Dare 2 Be Different Souvenir, donating clothes and items, giving groceries to help with our Fun Fridays and Spectacular Saturdays Youth events and more. You keep our ministry going. THANK  YOU!

We always get in trouble because if we do an email blast to St. Kitts and Nevis, then I get emails from Cuba and Kenya and Pakistan etc saying they didn't recieve mails this week. When I focus on the outside world, my very own in St. Kitts - Nevis bash me and say that when I don't send out, I am forgetting to encourage someone who just may have needed that email to impact them.

On a serious note though, I really didn't do much HOPE Devotional writings this week, save Monday. I wanted to spend some time dealing with issues and appointments and some personal business. After some appointments this week, I wish I had taken them sooner and that encouraged me EVEN  MORE, to pre-launch our fundraising efforts to start building our Dare 2 Be Different Mission Centre. (Since the report was published, it has gone viral and inspiring people all across the world, to jump on the wagon to make it reality.)

Why? . . . Simply because Our Children Need Help! Our Young People Need URGENT Help! Our older folks are living lives of sorrow, regret, hurt and pain. There is NOT a day that passes where I don't have to help with empowerment, encouragement, guidance or salvation. I'm always busy on my Blackberry, Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, cell phone, email or at appointments encouraging someone NOT  TO  GIVE UP.

Quite recently, I received an urgent call from a young person. When I picked up the phone, this is what they said, "Khrystus - I need Jesus - When Can We Meet?" I have never ever gotten a call where someone went straight to the point. Thus shortly after my 11am Saturday Radio Radio program on Dominion Radio 91.5FM and carried live on all our worldwide websites, I fulfilled that appointment.

I won't go into any details, but that young person told me that they had sold their soul to the devil and wanted to know if there was anyway of leaving the cult - leaving the Illuminati. Friend, the young person wasn't totally brain washed, but they were living in FEAR of losing their life. They said that they were told that if they leave, they would be killed. It wasn't such a hard job telling them about what Jesus could do for them. They remembered much of the teachings from attending church and Sunday School.

New things happen EVERYDAY. That was the first time I had a two-person service in the vehicle I was driving. That was a SERVICE!!!! It wasn't a counseling session. I had to wage WAR  AGAINST  THE  ENEMY - RIGHT  THERE  AND THEN. He wasn't going to have this YOUNG  LIFE!!!!

At the end of allowing that person to turn their life over to Jesus, I actually saw an immediate change. When I met with them at first, their face was full of anger and still pain. By the end of our appointment, or should I say Vehicle Worship Evangelistic and Deliverance Service, they were smiling, happy and relieved.

As ministers of the gospel, we are reminded that certain situations and visits, we should take someone with us. Friend, I honestly didn't know what I was coming up against and so I couldn't amply prepare by inviting another believer. Also, if I had carried someone with me, the youth probably would not have spoken because I had to wait about 15 minutes before they even opened their mouth and said a word to me.

At the end of the little session, out of curiosity, I asked. Why did you call me and not the pastor of the church you attend or someone else. The youth said, ever since you started your Youth Rap Radio Programme on Dominion Radio 91.5fm several years ago, I've been listening and wanting my deliverance. I've been following Dare 2 Be Different International Hope Messages. I just had to get the courage today to make a step to CHRIST. That's why I took up my phone and called.

You see, if we weren't following our Ministry's Mission to Spread the Gospel Using the Technology, this youth would have never read any of our Online Hope Messages or watched our Radio Program from our website.

Friend - our Federation needs help! Our region needs help! Our World Needs Help! As I started, so will I end. I think I'm prepared to suffer for Christ just to help save ONE soul - just to impact ONE soul - just to help to make the difference in ONE life.

I move forward with the words penned by the Apostle Peter in 3:13-14. To explain it a bit, he says to us who serve God, No one will be able to harm us once we're doing GOOD. He says we ought not to be afraid of their evil terror plans. We should just remain happy once we're suffering for righteous sake.

All I ask of you reader - of you listener - Cover Me in Prayer - I'm Going In to the Hotspots - I'm going into the enemy's camps with creative ways of spreading the GOSPEL and I'm NOT coming back out without at least ONE soul for JESUS.

When I rise from my seat here in my office, although it's weekend - although it's SUNDAY, my company, http://www.shopkvk.com/ will apply some FREE  EMBROIDERY  PRINTS  on some shirts for a group of ten young men. NOTE  WELL: They are not christians - at least not yet. But if this is God's way of letting me reach them, with some FREE  PRINTS, by ALL  MEANS  POSSIBLE - I  WILL.

I already have some of their deepest secrets in the palm of my hand and all they need is deliverance. I want you to know that they have dreams too and ideas too - but WE - The Church - The Society have written them off. We've forgotten them and I'm sure we had quite a time in church today praising God while wounded soldiers continue to die.

I must make mention here, of one of my http://www.shopandshipskn.com/ clients in NEVIS, who a few weeks ago, responded to my Hope Message titled, "Don't Let Another Wounded Soldier Die," and pledged, by God's grace to help me with any Nevis - West Indies Hope appointments our ministry may have. May God Bless the person tremendously for automatically joining our team of DIFFERENCE  MAKERS at http://www.d2bdifferent.com/ and http://www.daretobedifferentkenya.com/

Cover Me - I'm Going In - There is HOPE  AHEAD for everyone!

ST. KITTS-NEVIS MAY PROBABLY BE HOME TO THE 1st EVER DARE 2 BE DIFFERENT INTERNATIONAL MISSION CENTRE

President of Dare 2 Be Different International, 25 year old Khrystus Wallace is on a quest to raise US$3 Million dollars in 12 months or less to fund the first phase of his Dare 2 Be Different Mission Centre Dream. The drive officially starts June 1st 2012 which is the Ministry’s 4th Anniversary Month and would end June 1st 2013 which would be the ministry’s 5th Anniversary Month and ground breaking ceremony for the project.

Since 12 years old, Wallace envisioned the need for a holistic youth centre in the Federation of St. Kitts-Nevis that provides an opportunity for youth to be positively occupied in a safe and well rounded environment.

Wallace stated that as a young Christian, there was practically nothing extra for him and others to do and fully understood why many youth returned to the world, seeking fun, joy and fulfillment simply because the church lacked in catering to this essential part of youth development.

Even before he founded Dare 2 Be Different International in 2008, Wallace documented what his vision was when God gave it to him in December 2004 and still holds that precious document even until today.

The Gospel Based Dare 2 Be Different Mission Centre envisages an all in one facility that houses

·         a Dinner ‘N’ Movie Theatre
·         a Gospel Youth Bar
·         an Indoor Basketball and Tennis Facility
·         an Indoor Restaurant, Arcade and Play Centre
·         a Football & Play Field
·         a Study Centre & Library
·         Extra Rooms for classes and I.T Training
·         A Mission Mobilization Training Facility
·         The Dare 2 Be Different Mini-Mall that will ONLY house businesses that are a product of the Mission Mobilization Project
·         The Dare 2 Be Different Technical & Vocational Institute primarily geared for students who would have been kicked out of the regular learning institutes because they were not academically inclined.
·         The Dare 2 Be Different  Bible College
·         An Indoor / Outdoor Camp Facility to accommodate local, regional and international camps
·         A Fun Theme Park with year round rides
·         A Conference Room for meetings, weddings, receptions etc
·         Counseling Huts
·         A State of the Art Theatrical Auditorium for Dramas, Dance Recitals etc
·         The Dare 2 Be Different Gift Shop
·         24-7 Prayer Line and Counselling Call Centre
·         Dormitories to house persons who need to get out of a setting while they are being ministered to
·         The Victory Centre’s Virtual Sanctuary (The Caribbean’s 1st Virtual Church)

When asked where the working capital would come from to keep such a massive project going for years, Wallace stated that part of Dare 2 Be Different’s plan is to acquire or build dormitories to rent to the growing international student population in St. Kitts-Nevis and use the rent as one considerable source of working capital to keep the project going.

According to President Wallace, The Dare 2 Be Different International Mission centre, when complete would be a multi-million dollar project dedicated to SAVING  OUR  YOUTH  and  CREATING  NEW  A  NEW MINDSET for the next generation to come.

This project would show that there is an INTERNATIONAL  MINISTRY that was founded in one of the smallest islands in the world – ST. KITTS, that cares about our YOUTH.

Wallace is a born Youth Advocate, Leader, Philanthropist, Writer, Minister, Techno-Evangelist, Radio Host and Businessman. Since he founded Dare 2 Be Different International, he has guided the ministry to make a Spiritual global impact using the technology available and is a foot soldier for Christ travelling from church to church with his messages of HOPE, EMPOWERMENT and SALVATION.

Wallace is a gifted evangelist, who ceases the opportunity to minister through hosting Back to School Rallies, Bus Driver and Government Worker Appreciations, Dare 2 Be Different Youth Parties and Events etc.

Wallace has built a global readership and following since his ministry added the almost daily Popular Hope Messages on www.hopeisahead.com. He has since published 2 books, titled God’s Prescription for Positive Living I and II. Wallace has hopes of publishing III, IV, V, VI and VII by September 2012 and then travel the world preaching and marketing his books along with raising support for this endeavour.

Dare 2 Be Different Int’l officially opened it’s Kenyan Hub in January 2012 and took over and renamed a struggling school and orphanage calling it The Dare 2 Be Different Comprehensive School and Orphanage. http://www.daretobedifferentkenya.com/

Through the use of technology, Wallace founded The Victory Centre, http://www.thevictorycentre.com/ – which is a fully dedicated Caribbean Internet Church that keeps preaching and spreading the message of Jesus Christ 24-7 – 365 days a year. Something that many ministry’s 5, 20, 30 , 50 years old have failed to do by leaving technology out of their ministries. The Victory Centre’s weekly service airs every Monday at 8pm, but views can always log on and listen several rebroadcasts one behind the other.

With an aim to guide youth to create relationships that last, Wallace built http://www.loveshouldlast.com/ and also built http://www.daringdifferently.com/ which is a Gospel Based Online Youth Magazine. Dare 2 Be Different’s Internet Radio – http://www.d2bdradio.com/ is in testing phase and is expected to reach thousands of listeners all across the world. With a heart to help young people, Wallace established The Mission Mobilization Project – www.mmskn.org to help to empower young people to use their talents to make life during a trying global economic time when jobs are hard to find.

When asked why establish such a centre in St. Kitts, Wallace’s answer was out of the ordinary. He said, “You know, St. Kitts is our first option. But it is not our only option. Dare 2 Be Different International is an International ministry and if God provides the way, the land, the resources and government support and approvals in another country that wants something like this, faster than St. Kitts-Nevis – We are going! Whether it’s Antigua or Tortola or USA or UK or Russia or Africa – where ever God makes the way – we are going!

I believe, just like McDonalds and KFC, we too will have different Dare 2 Be Different Hubs all across the world, but I want to get this headquarters up and running ASAP.”

Wallace isn’t just waiting on Investors or Shareholders to start showing interest, since several months ago, he decided to dedicate a significant amount of funding from fund raising efforts such as Dare 2 Be Different T-shirt and Hope Shirt sales, sermon cds and dvds, his books and more to funding this project.

In closing, Wallace said, “God loves children. He loves youth. He says it in the Bible. I believe because he cares so much about them, he will provide the way. He will provide the funding. He will send the investors. He will touch the hearts of our ministry supporters. This Multi-Million Dollar project is a LIGHT  THING for God to do and after constant prayer and listening, we believe NOW is the time to push on.

This project won’t only impact youth through fun activities, but hundreds of Youth will receive employment in which ever country it is built. We know that we would have to employ ministry leaders, pastors, evangelists and christians etc to carry on the work.

I’m a evangelist, visionary and planter. I know my calling. When I see this one up and running, I’ll move on to another country.  Every country deserves either a Mini or Mega Dare 2 Be Different Mission Centre.

I believe after Worldwide Governments and Church Based organizations see how Dare 2 Be Different Internal will be making an impact, many countries will be fighting for us to build Mission Centres in their lands to help Save The Youth.

I would never forget the small batch of close friends and family who always saw potential in my ideas and dreams from the very onset and invested in my endeavours. I surely did appreciate their patience, their advice and support. They can be assured that they will receive shares in this project because they had faith that great things can come out of small people.”

Wallace’s USA Based Start Up Company – The Supply Shop Inc (www.thesupplyshopinc.com)  is expected to head the project in every aspect of its development. The company plans to use the recently approved President Obama JOBS  ACT to assist in raising capital for the project.

Visionary Wallace believes that the Mission Centre idea will create employment much employment for USA youth as it plans to use skilled YOUTH lawyers, engineers, architects, wholesalers, equipment service technicians.

Where ever this 1st  project is approved to be built, that country should also expect an injection of continuous youth employment and empowerment to keep it going for as long as God tarries.

Wallace, who entered the world of business at age 11 when he solely built www.kvklives.com and grew it to what it is today, is confident that this dream – this cause will also come to pass.

God has a way of bringing deliverance (Inspired by Rev. Hilton Joseph - Zion Moravian Church, St. Kitts)

And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's. (2 Ch 20:15  KJV)

"When your back is up against the wall, God has a way of bringing deliverance!" Those were some of the God-sent words delivered by Reverend Hilton Joseph of the Zion Moravian Church at yesterday's Friendship Service at The Unique Touch Christian Centre in Sandy Point, St. Kitts. http://www.utccskn.org/.
There are two types of preachers. 1. The boasting, full of him/herself preacher who speaks from his own self and 2. A God-sent messenger who speaks thus saith the Lord. When Reverend Joseph entered the sanctuary, I could have seen his constant dependence on God to use him to speak thus saith the Lord. Even before he took the microphone, he was engulfed in a spirit of worship. He later humbled himself before God, knelt by his chair and spent some time in prayer.

When he took the microphone after a short introduction. He was READY and I'm positive the devil was trembling in his quarters.

"Can you imagine? An host of army came to make war against Jehosophat. This sounds like many of us today. When we look around, there is trouble on everyside. There is something I want you to know though. Jehosophat was able to win the battle because of prayer and fasting. Fasting and prayer causes God to show up."

That was a word from the Lord intended just for me. I felt like running back and forth, but if I did, I would miss out on writing so I could share some key points with you today, and you wouldn't get to view this video clip on youtube of the Reverend ministering.

Rev. Joseph ensured that he stressed that God's people are different people. He used 1 Peter 2:9 to drive that point home. "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:"

"Together we are better because we choose to be different! Together we are better because we choose to be obedient." Those words sent shivers up my bones because they fell right in line with Dare 2 Be Different's - http://www.d2bdifferent.com/  motto.  The Reverend was sure to stress that deliverence comes after obedience and total dependence and committment to God.

He used Jehosophat's example of humbling himself before God and leading out in a fast and in prayer as he depended on God for deliverance. Rev. Joseph suggested that this is just what we ought to do too when we want God to deliver us out of our struggles.

A preacher isn't a preacher unless he warns and behooves his/her audience to be better and stand out. Rev. Joseph suggested that certain things ought not to be.

"Imagine, believers are in work places and co-workers don't know they are believers because their attitudes are the same - because they don't produce quality work. This ought not so to be. We must stand out as God's people."

In closing, the Reverend reminded his audience that God has a way of bringing deliverance because once we are totally committed to him, the battle is not ours, but God's!

"After the war, Jehosophat and his people spent three days - three days to gather up the spoil that the enemies left then they rested."

Friend, this was certainly a word for me. I would be very selfish not to have shared it with you through this medium. Note well, just like King Jehosophat and his nation were triumpant because they depended totally on God, so too WE  WILL  BE  TRIUMPHANT  TOO when we depend totally on him. Our trials and storms and struggles won't last forever. God will fight for us and WIN - DEFINITELY.

Don't worry - Hope is Ahead!
